Digital watermarking for authentication and copyright protection is one of the interesting areas of research in information security. This technique is no more limited to the images but also applied to the audio, video, softwares and databases. However, the limitation of digital watermarking is that it introduces small distortions in the original cover contents, thus causing slight degradation. These distortions are undesirable in some sensitive applications data like medical, military and law-enforcement etc, where imperceptibility is also desired. However, there are certain applications in which this requirement is just opposite. For example, in medical images, the original image contents must be hidden from the naked eye to ensure the privacy. The problem is formulated into two parts. Firstly, to enhance the security of medical images by hiding the contents of image along with the recovery and fragility. Secondly, to optimize the three conflicting parameters of digital watermarking namely, capacity, imperceptibility and robustness so that we could find an appropriate way to embed the watermark information in the image while satisfying the said parameters.In the first part, our main thrust is that image contents should not be visible to the naked eye. Moreover, the watermarked image should be recoverable along with the watermark on the receiving end. Lastly any tampering in the image should be detectable. In this regard, we have proposed residue number system (RNS) along with the chaotic key for the reversible watermarking of medical images by presenting five different schemes. In the first two schemes, watermark information and original image both are fragile, so that any tampering in the image contents can be easily indicated. In the rest of the schemes, image is kept fragile, while the watermark information is made robust so that it can withstand some reasonable amount of modifications. The second part is concerned with general images carrying hidden information. Our main focus is to optimize the three parameters of digital watermarking, namely capacity, imperceptibility and robustness. In this regard, we have proposed a fuzzy rule base system (FRBS) along with human visual system (HVS) in three different schemes. In first two schemes, FRBS for optimizing capacity or imperceptibility is proposed while keeping the other fixed. It is achieved by finding the HVS features of the image and then tradeoff is made between the imperceptibility and viii capacity using FRBS. In the third scheme, we have jointly optimized the three parameters using FRBS and HVS. In summary, efficient watermarking schemes are developed which can protect the medical images from the naked eye along with the reversibility and fragility. The proposed schemes for the second part can also either optimize the two parameters or jointly optimize the three parameters. The proposed schemes are compared with the well known schemes of digital watermarking in the literature.

پھر جب سپریم کورٹ کے چاروں ججوں نے سزائے موت سنائی (تین ججوں نے انیں بری کیا کل سات جج تھے )تو انہیں جیل کی کال کوٹھری میں رکھا گیا ۔انہوں نے بھوک ہڑتال کی جو گیارہ روز جاری رہی اس عرصہ میں کال کوٹھری کی چھت پر لوگ بڑے بوٹ پہن کر ناچتے رہتے تھے تا کہ بھٹو سو نہ سکے اس کے باوجود بھٹو بیمار نہیں ہوئے اور بارہویں رات کو پھانسی چڑھ گئے ۔
جو دوست اب سوال پوچھتے ہیں کہ بھٹو مرتا کیوں نہیں ہے تو گزارش ہے کہ ایسے بہادر انسان کا جسم تو مر جا تا ہے لیکن نام رہتی دنیا تک زندہ رہتا ہے ۔جیے بھٹو ۔
هدفت الدراسة الحالية إلى التعرف على مستوى الالتزام التنظيمي لدى مُعلمي مدارس التعليم الأساسي بمحافظة البريمي في سلطنة عمان، واتبعت الدراسة المنهج الوصفي، كما استخدمت الاستبانة في جمع البيانات والمعلومات وتم تطبيقها على عينة مكونة من (369) معلماً ومعلمة. وتوصلت نتائج الدراسة إلى أن أن مستوى الالتزام التنظيمي لدى معلمي مدارس التعليم الأساسي بمحافظة البريمي في سلطنة عمان جاء عالياً بصورة إجمالية، كما جاء عالياً في جميع الأبعاد وهي: الالتزام المعياري، والعاطفي، والاستمراري، وأوضحت النتائج أيضاً عدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى الدلالة (α ≤ 0.05 ) في استجابات عينة الدراسة من المعلمين لمستوى التزامهم بمدارس التعليم الأساسي بمحافظة البريمي في سلطنة عمان تُعزى لمتغيرات الجنس، والمؤهل العلمي، وسنوات الخبرة، والمسمى الوظيفي.
Case study research was conducted to explore and understand the strategies that the school head teacher employs to empower teachers in classroom teaching. The study was conducted in a government school in Karachi, Pakistan with the head teacher and two classroom teachers. The main purpose of the study was to see what strategies are used mostly in empowering teachers and for how much these strategies help in improving teaching performance and enhancing school improvement. It is necessary to note that curriculum is most important factor in classroom teaching and learning. If classroom teaching is not meeting the needs of the students learning will not be effective. Also if teachers have no willpower in implementing curriculum, it is likely to affect the teaching process in the classroom. In classroom teaching, things like methodology, instructions, resources, materials, and strategies are necessary for implementation. Therefore, this study focuses on the use of such characters and examines how the school head teacher encourages teachers on the practice of these characteristics while practicing teaching in the classroom. The study reveals that the head teacher is the most important person in the school reform, and she is the change agent. Also, the study shows that teacher empowerment is one important aspect of education reform in the school. For the current situation, the head teacher understands the importance of the educational change process that focuses on teacher empowerment for school improvement. Several strategies were found to be critical in practicing teacher empowerment in the classroom teaching, among them are: providing teacher with freedom, introducing change, and providing teachers with professional development, and providing rewards support, trust and autonomy. The study urges the educational policy to rethink school leadership structure roles together with skills and knowledge of head teacher and teachers in realizing teacher empowerment.
