In this study biocompatible and sustained released multiparticulate systems comprising superabsorbent polymer particles were prepared to reduce the local irritant effect of risedronate sodium. SAP based on 2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate, itaconic acid and polyvinyl pyrrolidone /chitosan were prepared by solution polymerization and fractioned to form SAP particles. Ethylene glycol dimethacrylate, potassium persulfate and N,N,N,N tetramethylethylene diamine were used as crosslinker, initiator and activator, respectively. Various concentrations of polymer and monomers were used in the formulations. Crosslinking was confirmed by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy. The dynamic swelling studies were carried at pH 1.2, 5.5 6.5 and 7.5, which indicated a direct relationship of concentration of IA and media pH to swelling. By increasing the IA content or decreasing HEMA content porosity increased and a direct relationship was found in the case of gel fraction with HEMA and PVP contents. Furthermore, the values of volume fraction of polymer, molecular weight between crosslinks and solvent interaction parameters were determined. Risedronate sodium loading efficiency was determined which was dependent on IA and PVP contents. Drug release study was performed at buffers of pH 1.2 and 7.4 and result showed pH dependent drug release. The release mechanism was best described by zero order kinetics at pH 1.2 and Higuchi kinetics at pH 7.4. n value of almost all formulations was between 0.5 and 1.0, hence drug release followed non-Fickian release mechanism. A balanced, single dose, parallel study design was utilized to perform in vivo studies on rabbits. Cmax, Tmax and AUCo-∞ of formulations S1 and F1 were shifted to new values that proved the sustained release behavior. The bioavailability of drug was improved when administered in the form of multi-particulate formulation

To juxtapose various components in one issue or various issues, and to adopt various jurists’ points of views is called “Talfiq.” In the present radical age of science and technology, each and every social faculty is being radicalized particularly in finance; there are certain complications in the monetary systems of various countries. In this scenario, to concentrate on one school of thought and deduce the solution of these financial issues has now become impossible. That is why, Majlis-e-Shar’ii concentrate on “Talfiq between different school of thoughts”, where various parallel issues are solved. The Majlis has prepared a sharia standard where practicable and beneficial financial issues are elaborated. The jurists have elaborated various principles of “Bae-e-Salam”, and presented various relevant issues taking the insight from various scholars of Maliki, Hanafi, Shafi and Hambli schools of thoughts and focused on “Talfiq”. The present research paper the decrees related to Talfiq will be explored, where the jurists have adopted it. Whether it is allowed or prohibited. If it is allowed, to what extent?
This study was undertaken to explore the attitude of university teachers regarding brainbased learning and its effect on achievement motivation of students at university level. This study was intended to; explore the teachers’ attitude towards brain based learning at university level; determine the achievement motivation of students at university level; investigate the effect of brain based learning on achievement motivation of students at university level; find out the differences in demographic factors regarding teachers’ attitude towards brain based learning and achievement motivation of students at university level. This study was descriptive in nature. Multilevel mixed method sampling techniques was used. 311 teachers and 622 students were selected as a sample from both public and private universities of Islamabad. Data were collected through two questionnaires. Brain based learning questionnaire was developed by Shelly Klinek (2009) and questionnaire regarding achievement motivation was developed by Mclnerney (1997). Data were analyzed through mean, percentages, Regression, t-test and ANOVA by using SPSS. Findings of this study indicated that teachers not generally practice positive attitude towards brain based learning and students generally showed high degree of achievement motivation at university level. Teachers’ attitude towards BBL and achievement motivation of students were positively correlated with each-others. There were significant mean differences in gender, age, teaching experiences and universities of teachers while no significant mean differences were found in public and private sectors, disciplines and academic qualification of teachers regarding brain based learning at university level. Similarly, there were no significant mean differences in gender and academic qualification of students while significant mean differences were found in public and private sectors, disciplines and universities of students regarding achievement motivation at university level. Therefore, it is recommended that higher authorities may design different seminars or workshops on brain based learning and its correlation with achievement motivation of students that may help to new teachers about brain compatible classroom.
