Forest biodiversity and its role in community development and livelihood improvement was studied in Chitral and Swat districts of Pakistan. Five species of morels were recorded in Mankial valley including Morchella conica Pers., Morchella esculenta Fr., Morchella delociosa Fr., Morchella rotunda (Pers.) Boud., Morchella semilibera DC., in Mankial valley District Swat. The total annual production of dried morels was 334 kg and market value was Rs. 5999000/- in Mankial, Rs. 6609000/- at Mingora and Rs. 9130000/- at Islamabad during 2016. The Morchella species are collected for own uses and marketing and 97% of the morels are marketed while the remaining 3% are used as food or folk medicines. The highest population of markhor (Capra falconeri falconeri Wagner) was noted at Toshi Shasha conservancy Chitral with 1455 individuals during 2016 followed by 522 animals in Gehret Goleen conservancy Chitral during 2012 and 62 animals in Mankial valley district Swat during 2015. The total income was 3.473 million US $ from markhor (Capra falconeri falconeri Wagner) trophy hunting during 1998 to 2016 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, out of which 20 % amounting 0.69486 million US $ were kept by the government as token money while 80 % amounting 2.7794 million US $ were paid to the community as their share while in Toshi Shasha conservancy Chitral the income was found Rs. 31.188 million in 211-2012, Rs. 36.137 million in 2012-13, Rs. 47.983 million in 2013-14 and Rs. 61.385 million during 2014-15. The community spent an amount of Rs. 3.083 million in 2011-2012, Rs. 4.397 million in 2012-2013, Rs. 5.009 million in 2013-2014 and Rs. 9.819 million during 2014-15 on community development and livelihood improvement through implementation of 50 community projects. The physical, climatic and chemical parameters of morels habitat in Mankial valley Swat were also studied and elemental, nutritional analysis were carried out. Phytosociological attributes including plant abundance, frequency and crown density in the study area were also carried out.

Employee Commitment and Culture Organization on Employee Performance

This study aims to analyze and examine the influence of employee commitment and cultural organizational factors towards employees of the Job Performance, Regional Secretariat (SetDa) Riau Province both simultaneously (overall test) and partial (individual test). The research method used is verification, while the population in this study is the Regional Secretariat (SetDa) Riau Province based on increasing totaling 402 people. By using the method of proportional stratified random sampling in the sample amount to obtain 40 respondents. While data collection technology is used by the field study and library that includes observation, interviews and question-naires, and to determine the relationship and the influence of an independent variable to the model variables to use Multiple Linear Regression Analysis. The results showed that the calculated results obtained statistically Multiple Correlation Coefficient (R) was 0.8950 with p <0.05 and the coefficient value of Determination (R2) 80.11%. This means that approximately 80.11% of employee commitment and organizational culture factors have a significant influence on employee job performance. Partial test showed that the partial coefficient of determination values contained in the organizational culture variables for (r2) = 54.58% with p = 0.00000 and tresult = 7.515> ttable = 1.678 and ttable variables for employee commitment (r2) = 78, 74% with p = 0.00000 and tresult = 13.196> ttable = 1.678. These results indicate that organizational cultural factors and employee commitment have a significant relationship influence on employee job performance of the Riau Province Regional Secretariat (SetDa).

A Topology-Awareload Balancing Scheme in Data Center Networks

Datacenter networks are playing vital role to accommodate huge amount of data transmission such as in Giga/Tera bytes on multiple links. With this inevitable data transmission, some uncertainties like dynamic traffic behaviour, topology asymmetry and link failure, are major issues faced by Datacenter which result in poor performance. To handle such link failures in Datacenter network, load balancing scheme should be accurate especially path sensing and timely responses to mitigate the fallouts. Different solutions have been proposed to overcome these issues. Some of the proposed techniques are unaware about path conditions. They reroute at fixed data rate blindly. Others were capable for sensing the path condition but rerouting and adjusting the load balancing is very slow which degrade the performance. One of the good technqiue for solving the load balacing problem in Datacenter networks where multipath exits for higher data rate (parallel transmisson). That research required hardware changes, particularly for acqiuring accorate congestion feedback from end host and taking adaptiving decision for load balancing. Thus they can?t react timely to these uncertainties which results in reasonable performance degradation; especially in the worst situation to detect some issues like randomly packets drop as well as throughput of the channel. In this research, a solution has been proposed which focusses on two things (1) accurate timely acknowledgement of packet delivery, (2) Current load on each link. In our proposed work there is no need of hardware changes. We have achieved accurate response of acknowledgments of each packet delivery. This proposed scheme have been implemented using NS3 simulator. The results has been compared with the other existing solutions.
