The research work undertaken in this dissertation is comprised of two parts. The first part is concerned about the comparative study of weak and strong meshless formulations for the numerical solution of elliptic boundary value problems. Meshless methods based on weak and strong formulation provide alternate numerical solution procedures to the well established solution techniques, such as finite element methods, finite difference methods, boundary element methods and finite volume methods. The meshless weak formulation considered in this dissertation is the well-known element free Galerkin method whereas, a strong meshless formulation chosen, is the local radial basis functions collocation method. The weak meshless formulation in the form of the element free Galerkin method is proposed while incorporating the new numerical quadrature technique based on multi-resolution Haar wavelets for approximating the displacement and strain modeled by elliptic boundary value problems in one- and two-dimensional spaces. The element free Galerkin method with numerical integration based on Gaussian quadrature has also been implemented for the numerical solution of the elliptic boundary value problems. In addition, a meshless collocation method has also been proposed in strong form using the local radial basis functions collocation method for the numerical solution of the elliptic boundary value problems. A comparative study in terms of accuracy and stability of both the weak and strong meshless formulations is carried out for the elliptic boundary value problems in one- and two-dimensional spaces. The second part of the research work undertaken in this thesis is focused on the applications of meshless methods for the solutions of solid mechanics and structural optimization problems. The element free Galerkin method with numerical integration based on Haar wavelets is also used to solve one- and two-dimensional elasto-static problems. Numerical solution obtained with these methods is in excellent agreement with analytical solution. Further, the element free Galerkin method is implemented with level set method for the two-dimensional structural optimization problems for minimum compliance design. The shape and topological sensitivities are obtained by the element free Galerkin method. The proposed topology optimization method is capable of automatically inserting holes during the optimisation process using the topological derivative approach. The structural geometry is updated through the numerical solution of modified Hamilton-Jacobi type partial differential equation by the level set method. Furthermore, the element free Galerkin method has also been combined with radial basis functions in the frame work of level set method for the solution of two-dimensional structural optimization problems. Furthermore, the finite element method has also been coupled with local radial basis functions based level set method. The original Hamilton-Jacobi equation has been transformed into a system of coupled ordinary differential equations. To highlight the associated advantages and disadvantages of the radial basis functions in the framework of level set method, a comparative study has also been carried out. The proposed methods are implemented for the optimal solutions of different types of structures with application of single and multiple loads.

خدیجۃ الکبریٰؓ کی شادیاں : حضرت خدیجہ ؓکے والد خویلد عرب کے مشہور تاجر تھے ۔ قریش میں نامور تھے ان کی وفات کے بعد خدیجہؓ نے ان کے تجارتی کاروبا ر کو سنبھالا دیا اور اسے وسعت دی ۔ عفت و پاک دامنی کے سبب خدیجہ طاہرہ کے لقب سے جانی پہچانی جاتی تھیں ۔ ان کی پہلی شادی عتیق بن عائذ مخزومی سے ہوئی ‘ ان میں سے دو اولادیں ہوئیں ۔ ایک لڑکا عبداللہ بن عتیق اور ایک لڑکی ہند بنت عتیق ۔ خدیجہ کے شوہر عتیق کا انتقال ہوا ۔ اس کے بعد خدیجہ کی دوسری شادی ابو ہالہ بن زرارہ تمیمی سے ہوئی ۔ ان سے ہالہ ‘ طاہراور ہند پیدا ہوئے ‘ یہ تینوں بھائی صحابی تھے ۔ ( رحمۃ اللعالمین ۔۱۴۴۔ ۲ ) وہ مزید لکھتے ہیں کہ بعض سیرت نگاروں نے خدیجہ کا پہلا نکاح ابو ہالہ بن زرارہ سے ہوا تھا ‘ لکھا ہے ‘ اس بات میں مورخین کا اختلاف ہے ۔ ’’ قتادہ ‘‘ نے عتیق کا پہلا نکاح بتایا ہے اور جرجانی نے ابو ہالہ کا ۔ صاحب الاسیتعاب نے بھی جرجانی کے قول کو صحیح کہا ہے ۔ میں (سلمان) نے قتادہ کے قول؛ کو اس لیے پسند کیا ہے کہ صاحب الا ستیعاب نے ہند کو ربیب رسول اللہ لکھا ہے اور یہ تب ہی ہو سکتا ہے کہ ابو ہالہ کے بعد نبی مکرم ﷺ کا نکاح ہوا ہو ( حوالہ بالا )

Therefore, just as it is necessary for the Islamic state to harmonize with the world conditions and events according to the requirements of the modern era, it is also necessary for the Islamic state to keep its ideological position in mind in all situations. Phytic Acid in Relation to Minerals Availability at Different Extraction Rates of Wheat Flour

Minerals are one of the nutrient groups vital to the human health and the deficiencies of minerals remain a momentous public health problem in many parts of the world, predominantly in developing and under developing countries where imperfection to vitamin A, iron, iodine and other micronutrients leads to adverse health disorders. The phytic acid has serious health concerns as it decreases the bioavailability of many essential minerals by interacting with multivalent cations and proteins to form complexes that may be insoluble or otherwise unavailable under physiologic conditions. This project is designed to increase the availability of minerals in flour with high and low extraction rates. In the present study three wheat varieties namely AARI-11, Faisalabad-08 and Lasani-08 at different extraction rates were characterized with special reference to physico-chemical analysis. The grains of each wheat variety was tempered and then milled through Quadrumate Senior Mill and whole wheat flour was formed through Udy Cyclon Mill. The results showed that significant variations were found in physico- chemical analysis and mineral profile of different wheat varieties. The test weight and thousand kernel weight ranged from 73.79 to 76.97 kg/hL and 40.71 to 43.85 grams, respectively, among different wheat varieties. The chemical parameters including moisture, ash, protein, fat and fiber contents were affected significantly by the wheat varieties and the extraction rates. The results exhibited variations among different extraction rates flour. It was revealed that 70% extraction rates flour possessed the highest moisture (12.36%), wet and dry gluten contents (27.56% and 10.58%, respectively) where as the whole wheat flour exhibited the highest ash (1.66%), fat (2.48%), protein (12.84%) and fiber (1.54%) contents. Rheological characteristics i.e. Farinographic and Mixographic studies of the flour were significantly affected by the different extraction rates and wheat varieties. The whole wheat flour exhibited the highest mineral contents as compared to the flour with low extraction rates. Hydrochloric acid extractability of minerals was increased significantly with the increase in extraction rates and significantly affected by the extraction rates and wheat varieties. Low phytate flour was prepared through autoclaving, fermentation and enzymatic degradation of phytic acid. The phytic acid content was significantly affected by the different processing treatments. The highest phytic acid content was found in whole wheat flour. Sensory parameters of chapattis and naan demonstrated non significant (P>0.05) effect among the wheat varieties where as significant effect was observed among the extraction rates. The efficacy study was conceded and degraded phytic acid samples were fed to rats for the analysis of serum biochemical profile. Two year study i.e. 2011 and 2012 was carried out to check the efficiency of the product and then results of both years were compared.
