1H-indene derivatives were prepared by intramolecular gold-catalyzed reaction of β-alkyl, βalkanol o-(alkynyl)styrenes by formal 5-end-dig fashion involving Pinacol-Pinacolone group migration followed by protodemetalation and deprotonation. The synthesis of mono- and disubstituted o-(alkynyl)styrene derivatives (5a-e). Synthesis of β-alkanol o-(alkynyl)styrenes 6a-f and β-alkyl,β-alkanol o-(alkynyl)styrenes 7a-j has been also illustrated through the reduction and addition of organolithium/Grignard reagents. Gold catalyzed cyclization of β-alkyl, βalkanol o-(alkynyl)styrenes afforded 1H-indene derivatives (10a, 10b, 10e, 10f) involving the nucleophilic attack of internal carbon based nucleophile onto the activated gold-alkenyl complex followed by subsequent Pinacol-Pinacolone type migration. In the second part, synthesis of bis(N-methyl-N-phenylcarbamoyl)polysulfanes having linearly linked sulfurs (S= 1 to 4), have been presented. Characterization techniques like NMR, mass spectrometry and single crystal Xray crystallographic analysis have been also incorporated. Comparative study of N,N′-dimethylN,N′-diphenylurea B1 (commercially available compound) and N,N′-dimethyl-N,N′diphenyloxamide B2 is also illustrated. The third part deals with the physicochemical behavior and interaction of [Ni(phen)3]F2.EtOH.MeOH.8H2O (NPC) with anionic surfactants (sodium dodecyl sulphate SDS, sodium stearate SS, sodium ethyl hexyl sulfate SEHS and sodium docusate SD). Critical micelle concentration (CMC) and spectroscopic parameters were determined by UV/Vis spectroscopy and thermodynamic parameters of complex-surfactant interactions were determined by electrical conductivity measurements. NPC showed the tendency of partitioning in the following order SDS ˃SS˃SEHS˃SD and CMC increased in the presence of micellar media. The investigated Ni-complex showed quite significant antioxidant activity against DPPH, hemolytic activity against RBCs, while no substantial cytotoxic activity against 3T3 cell line was witnessed.

54. Al-Qamar/The Moon
I/We begin by the Blessed Name of Allah
The Immensely Merciful to all, The Infinitely Compassionate to everyone.
54:01
a. The Last Hour has drawn near,
b. and the moon has been split open.
54:02
a. But whenever they see a Sign, they turn away, and mock:
b. Just the ‘same old deception, continuing!’
54:03
a. And they belie it and follow their whims.
b. But every matter will reach its proper end - so they will know the truth.
54:04
a. Certainly enough of the narratives of the fate of the former disbelieving nations would have
already come in which there is deterrence,
54:05
a. narratives full of far reaching wisdom,
b. yet the warnings do not benefit them.
54:06
a. So turn away from them.
b. The Time is going to come when the Caller will call all people to a horrible event;
54:07
a. with their eyes humbled, they will emerge out of their graves as if they were swarms of locust, looking confused and bewildered,
54:08
a. scrambling in a stampede and rushing towards the Caller.
b. The disbelievers will say remorsefully:
c. ‘This is such a difficult time!’
54:09
a. Before them the People of Noah too had belied OUR Messages and Messenger,
b. and they belied OUR servant Noah, and alleged:
c. ‘He is insane!’
d. And he was rebuked and prevented from advocacy.
54:10
a. So he appealed to his Rabb - The Lord in utter helplessness:
b. ‘I have certainly been overpowered.
c. So help’ me!
The revolutions always affect the society. When we talk about Hindustan, Muslim ruled many years on subcontinent therefor Islamic law affect the Hindu social law especially on status of women. Before Islamic law many traditional law impose on women as religious law and women cannot break the rules willingly or unwillingly, she have to follow them at any cost. Mughal Empire bought first step to break the socio religious law. This article highlighted the issues which is also prevailing in Hindu society and comparatively Islam give the moderate law for women but the good sign is this Hindu society continue struggling and make the change in Indian law for freedom of women.
BaTiO3 and PbTiO3 ceramics were prepared through solid state sintering reaction. The studies were attempted at the phase pure and crack free preparation and electrical investigations of BaTiO3 ceramics with Ba/Ti molar ratio (0.98 and 0.94) and PbTiO3 ceramics (1.00, 0.98 and 0.94) Pb/Ti molar ratio in the wide range of temperatures (40–700°C) at 1kHz frequency of the ceramics perhaps for the first time. Studies were attempted to find the understanding of the conduction process and useful implementation of the controlling parameters. Thermogravimetric and Differential scanning calorimetric analysis (TGA-DSC) revealed melting temperatures, weight losses and variations in the enthalpy of crystallization of the as ground powders. Ceramics with all precursor composition were perovskite (ABO3), ferroelectric materials. Cubic structures (Pm-3m) and tetragonal (P4mmm, P4mm, P4MM) crystal structures were indicated. Curie temperature (Tc) increased from120-130°C with decreasing Ba/Ti contents. With Pb and Bi doping, Curie temperature (TC) was shifted from 120 -200°C and 120 -160°C respectively. Pb/Ti contents did shift the Curie temperature. Broad dielectric constant peaks and pronounced dielectric anomalies with relaxor like behavior were observed in the paraelectric regions. Resistivity decreased with increasing temperature, all specimens showed semiconductor behavior with negative temperature coefficient of resistivity (NTCR) characteristics. Mobility of electrons increased with thermal activation due to hopping of charge carriers from one site to another. Ohmic conductivities and associated activation energies were evaluated by impedance spectroscopy. Conductivity followed Arrhenius Law with Ea values lying in the range of single ionized and doubly ionized oxygen vacancies and Pb vacancies; ionic conduction was supposed to be responsible. Well defined hysteresis P-E loops under electric fields showed ferroelectric characteristics.
