Iterative Methods for Solving Systems of Equations It is well known that a wide class of problems, which arises in pure and applied sciences can be studied in the unified frame work of the system of absolute value equations of the type Ax − x = b, A ∈ Rn×n , b ∈ R n . Here x is the vector in R n with absolute values of components of x. In this thesis, several iterative methods including the minimization technique, residual method and homotopy perturbation method are suggested and analyzed. Convergence analysis of these new iterative methods is considered under suitable conditions. Several special cases are discussed. Numerical examples are given to illustrate the implementation and efficiency of these methods. Comparison with other methods shows that these new methods perform better. A new class of complementarity problems, known as absolute complementarity problem is introduced and investigated. Existence of a unique solution of the absolute complementarity problem is proved. A generalized AOR method is proposed. The convergence of GAOR method is studied. It is shown that the absolute complementarity problem includes system of absolute value equations and related optimizations as special cases

The Immensely Merciful to all, The Infinitely Compassionate to everyone.

104:01
a. Woe to every slanderer and backbiter,

104:02

a. Never!
b. It is not like what he thinks.
c. On the contrary, he will certainly be flung into the Crushing Fire - that which breaks its inmates to pieces.

Some Problematic Aspects of Coliform Bacteria Clustering on Medical Images in the Task of Identifying Possible Diseases

Medical image analysis methods are one of the sources for obtaining additional information about the investigated phenomena. We are looking at images of coliform bacteria. Analysis of these images allows you to determine the possibility of developing certain diseases. To do this, it is necessary to cluster the set of bacteria and count the bacteria. The paper highlights the features of clustering for coliform bacteria. Clustering results for real data are presented.

Hrd As a Set of Generic Activities Associated With Learning Leading to a Learning Organization: A Case of Mobilink, Pakistan.

The purpose of the study was to determine that whether employed Human Resource Development (HRD) activities turn an organization into a learning organization (LO) or not, particularly in context of Pakistan?s telecom sector. Data were collected from Mobilink, market leader of telecom sector of Pakistan, through questionnaire designed by Marsick and Watkins (2003), semi-structured personal and telephonic interviews and non-participant observation. It was found that HRD activities implemented in organization can serve as a great source to be a learning organization when these activities ensure holistic learning at individual level, team/group level and organizational level in a culture and climate of learning reinforced by strategic leadership.
