An analysis of waves and instabilities in pair-ion plasma produced in some recent experiments is presented. The pair-ions, C±60, have the same mass and opposite charge. It is pointed out that the observation of the electrostatic ion acoustic wave frequency can be a suitable check to determine whether the produced plasma is a pure pair-ion plasma or whether it comprises some concentration of electrons. Linear and nonlinear electrostatic waves are studied in an unmagnetized pure pair-ion (PI) and pair-ion–electron (PIE) plasmas. In this thesis, we primarily focus on the analytical and numerical study of linear and nonlinear waves in pair-ion and pair-ion-electron plasmas and in particular formation of three different types of nonlinear structures have been investigated. The shear flow-driven electrostatic instabilities has been investigated in ideal low-density, low-temperature pair-ion-electron and pure pair-ion plasmas in several different cases, by considering homogeneous and inhomogeneous density effects. In uniform pair-ionelectron plasma, when the shear flow is of the order of the acoustic speed, a purely growing D''Angelo mode can give rise to electrostatic fields. In the case of an inhomogeneous plasma, the drift wave becomes unstable. The presence of negative ions, however, reduces the growth rate. If the positive and negative ions are not in thermal equilibrium with each other, then the shear flow also gives rise to an electrostatic instability in pure pair-ion plasma. The Kortewege-de Vries-Burgers (KdV-B) equation is derived for drift-waves in a partially ionized non-uniform pair-ion-electron (PIE) plasma. The nonlinearity appears due to electron temperature gradient. The analytical solutions in the form of solitons, monotonic shocks and oscillatory shocks have been obtained. The numerical calculations have also been presented for PIE plasmas of fullerene and hydrogen for illustration keeping in view the recent experiments. The Kadomtsev-Petviashvili-Burgers (KPB) equation is also derived for coupled drift acoustic shock waves in a partially ionized non-uniform pair-ion-electron (PIE) plasma in the presence of both density and temperature gradients, respectively. Both linear and nonlinear studies have been presented. The nonlinear KPB equation is derived in the small amplitude approximation method and its solution is found using the tanh method. The numerical calculations have also been presented for PIE plasmas of fullerene plasma. The effect of density and temperature inhomogeneities on the nature of the shock is also highlighted. The role of the velocity of the nonlinear structure with regard to the density and temperature gradients driven drift velocities is also pointed out and the effect of ionneutral collision frequency is also investigated. The linear and nonlinear dynamics of pair-ion (PI) and pair-ion-electron plasmas (PIE) have been investigated in a cylindrical geometry with a sheared plasma flow along the axial direction having radial dependence. The coupled linear dispersion relation of lowfrequency electrostatic waves has been presented taking into account the Gaussian profile of density and linear gradient of sheared flow. It is pointed out that the quasi-neutral cold inhomogeneous pure pair ion plasma supports only the obliquely propagating convective cell mode. The linear dispersion relation of this mode has been solved using boundary conditions. The nonlinear structures in the form of vortices formed by different waves have been discussed for PI and PIE plasmas. Johnson''s equation which is also known as cylindrical Kadomstev-Petviashvili (CKP) equation, is derived for pair-ion-electron plasmas to study the propagation and interaction of two solitons. Using a novel gauge transformation, two soliton solutions of CKP equation are analytically solved by using the Hirota''s method. Interestingly, it is observed that unlike the planar Kadomstev-Petviashvili (KP) equation, the CKP equation admits horseshoe-like solitary structures. Another non-trivial feature of CKP solitary solution is that the interaction parameter gets modified by the plasma parameters on contrary to the one obtained for Korteweg de Vries (KdV) type equation.

ملک کا دوسرا نام وطن ہے، وطن کی محبت ایمان سے ہے، وطن سے والہانہ عقیدت ایمان کا حصہ ہے، وطن ہے تو ہم ہیں، وطن سے ہی ہمارا وجود قائم ہے، ہمارے وطن کے گلستانوں کی مہک ہمارے دماغوں کو معطر رکھتی ہے، اس کے صحراودر یا ہمارا سرمایہ ہیں، وطن کے شجر و ہجر ہمارا اثاثہ ہیں۔
محترم صدر!
اگر یہ الفاظ دل کی اتھاہ گہرائیوں سے کہتے ہیں تو ہم قابل فخر ہیں، ہماری حیات کی عدالتیں قابلِ صدمبارک باد ہیں ، ہمارے ملک اور وطن کے بارے میں تخیلات و تصورات یقیناصائب و تندرست ہیں، ہماری محبت واقعی وطن کے لیے حقیقی ہے، ہمارا خیال وتصور واقعی اپنے ملک کے لیے طلسماتی اور کرشماتی ہے۔

اس ملک سے محبت اور اس کا بناؤ سنگھار دماغ کے سوچنے کا نام نہیں ، ملک میں نکھار صرف زبان کے اظہار کا نام نہیں ، وطن کے گلشن کی تزئین صرف جسم کی حرکات کا نام نہیں وطن سے محبت اور پیار قول و قرار کا نام نہیں۔

Islam is a complete code of life. It has complete instructions regarding all aspects of life. There is no moment in human life when the wisdom of Islam has not benefited humanity. Likewise there is no such area in the world where Islam has not put the light of guidance. Allah Almighty has systematically administered this world system.  Allah created the universe and set it disciplined, then created man and gave him every kind of physical, rational, logical and argumintive ability, so that humans can know the secrets of the universe by thinking and understanding it. The journey of research and discovery, which started long ago, is still continues today after passing through different stages of research. This journey of research resulted in evolution of philosophy, civilization, promotion of new scientific innovations and discoveries. The research and discovery resulted in the secrets of heaven and earth.  Today, man stands at the stage of science and technology, about which the human being in the older days even could not imagine of it. In this entire evolutionary journey, the religion of Islam is the only religion that not only stood firmly with humans, but guided him at every step during this evolutionary journey. In this context, the Quranic teachings are comprehensive matter. Allamah Sayyuti says "There is no knowledge and problem that is not discussed in the Qur'an. Exploring Teachers Knowledge and Skills to Do Formative Assessment in Chemistry Teaching at Secondary Level in a Public School of District Skardu, Gilgit-Baltistan

Assessment for learning has been given prime importance in K-12 education across the countries. This study aimed to explore the assessment practices and perceptions of two grade IX Chemistry teachers in a Government secondary school Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan. The study adopted qualitative case study design, where data were generated through semi-structured interviews, classroom observations, and document analysis. The findings of this study highlight that the teachers perceive that effectiveness of assessment is determined by its potential to promote further learning. Such assessment practices not only improve student’ learning but also provide opportunities to teachers for reflection and improvement of their instruction. The participant teachers have knowledge about number of formative assessment techniques to gauge students’ learning during the class. Among them, questioning and feedback were the two key elements of participant teachers’ assessment practices. Teachers argued that extensive reason based questioning for assessment purposes provided a venue to students to share their science conceptions in class and get feedback on them by fellow students and teachers to check whether their own conceptions are in line with established scientific ideas. The study also identified that the teachers were very concerned about monitoring students’ learning. However, teachers’ assessment practices are much influenced by the local board examinations which are mainly based on regurgitation and time bound paper-pencil tests. Because of expectations from parents and school management, teachers were obliged to train students to get high marks in the board examination. Therefore, it is recommended that the teachers’ assessment during the course of study should be given some weightage in the cumulative board examination results. Teachers should also be given professional development extensive repertoire of assessment techniques including use of ICT. There should be consultative dialogue with parents to make them understand the importance of students’ creative work which may not reflect through their marks and grades.
