In the present study, 52 different homoleptic and heteroleptic Pd(II) complexes were synthesized by reacting palladium(II) chloride with substituted triphenylphosphine and sodium salts of dithiocarbamates namely in a mixture of dry solvents. The ligands and various substituted triphenylphosphines used were sodium 4-benzylpiperazine-1-carbodithioate (L-1), sodium 4-diphenylmethylpiperazine-1-carbodithioate (L-2), sodium 4-(2-methoxyphenyl)piperazine-1-carbodithioate (L-3), sodium 4-(3-methoxyphenyl)piperazine-1-carbodithioate (L-4), sodium 4-benzylpiperidine-1-carbodithioate (L-5), sodium 4-(2-pyridyl)piperazine-1-carbodithioate (L-6), sodium 4-(2-pyrimidyl)piperazine-1-carbodithioate (L-7), sodium 4-(2-furoyl) piperazine-1-carbodithioate (L-8), sodium 4,4''-trimethylenedipiperidine-1-carbodithioate (L-9), tris(p-chlorophenyl)phosphine, tri-p-tolylphosphine, diphenyl-p-tolylphosphine, 1,4- bis(diphenylphosphino)butane, and tris(4-flourophenyl)phosphine. The coordination mode of ligands toward Pd(II), structural confirmation and geometry assignment of the complexes were made, using different analytical techniques such as elemental analysis, FT-IR, multinuclear (1H, 13C and 31P) NMR and X-ray single crystal analysis. Based on results, the ligand appeared to coordinate the Pd(II) atom through CSS moiety. The homoleptic and heteroleptic Pd(II) complexes demonstrate perfect square planner and distorted square planer geometries, respectively. The synthesized complexes were screened for in vitro cytotoxic activity against six different cell lines, LU (Lungs cancer cell lines), MCF-7 (mammary adenocarcinoma cell), 1c1c7 (murine hepatoma cells), PC-3 (prostate carcinoma), MDA-231 (estrogen-independent breast cancer cells) and HeLa (cervical carcinoma cell) by the MTT {Tetrazolium [3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyltetrazolium bromide} method. The homoleptic Pd(II) was less active whereas heteroleptic Pd(II) complexes composed of bidentate 1,4-bis(diphenylphoshino)butane, flouro and uncoordinated group (carbonyl and nitrogen) was found to be most active against different cancer cell lines as compare to the standard drug (Staurosporine and cisplatine). The interaction of the selected Pd(II) compounds with DNA was investigated by UV-Vis spectroscopy. The hypochromic effect for all the selected Pd(II) complexes was observed, indicating intercalative mode of interaction of these complexes with DNA. The antioxidant activity of selected Pd(II) complexes were evaluated using DPPH as a free radical and Ascorbic acid as a standard. Most of the complexes showed higher antioxidant property than the standard. The selected Pd(II) complexes were also evaluated to check their cytotoxicity and phytotoxicity using brine shrimp assay and seedling growth of maize, respectively. The highest activity was shown by compounds containing oxygenated species (19). Selected complexes were also screened for their antibacterial and antifungal activities against various strains of bacteria and fungi, and were found active.

The present study highlights to contribution of Qari Muhammad tayyab in Islamic assistance has widened the scope of the study. He was not only a knowledgeable scholar but also a verbose, philosophic, logical and sophisticated speaker. His speeches have disseminated a throng of information among the people. He had a deep concerns with the preaching of Islamic teaching. He remained the part of dewband maddersa for long while, where he replete the student with knowledge of islam in addition, qari Muhammad tayyab was a very innovative and revolutionary poet. His poetic nature can be seen his poetries through his writings۔ Qari has done many comparative studies, such as science and islam, Islam and Christianity, linguistic problems and Hindustan, presidential speech of mumbia and many others studies. His knowledge of history could be Cleary observed in his books of history. Such books include the history of dar-ul–uloom dewband, the history of hijaz muqaddas. His aids in many others fields like Islamic equity, problems of fate, a journey to Afghanistan, the principles of preaching are adorable, tidies. To the gathered and analyzed data, his additions to the Islamic studies are abound and will always enlighten the ways for the scholars and would always appreciate the new researchers.

Analysis of Network of Queues With Finite Capacities and Blocking

Queueing Network Models (QNMs) with Finite Capacity provide powerful and realistic tools for the performance evaluation and prediction of discrete flow systems such as computer systems, communication networks and flexible manufacturing systems. Over recent years, there has been a great deal of progress towards the analysis and application of QNMs with finite capacity, and high quality research work has appeared in diverse scientific journals of learning and conference proceedings in the fields of Operations Research, Computer Science, Telecommunication Networks, Management and Industrial Engineering. However, there are still many important and interesting finite capacity queues and QNMs to be resolved, such as those involving multiple-job classes, bounds and theoretical properties, exact analysis, numerical solutions and approximate methods, as well as application studies to computer and distributed systems, high-speed networks and production systems. Finite capacity queueing network models (QNMs) also play an important role towards effective congestion control and quality of service (QoS) protection of modern discrete flow networks. Blocking in such networks arises because the traffic of jobs through one queue may be momentarily halted if the destination queue has reached its capacity. Exact closed-form solutions for QNMs with blocking are not generally attainable except for some special cases such as two-station cyclic ivqueues and ‘reversible’ queueing networks. As a consequence, numerical techniques and analytic approximations have been proposed for the study of arbitrary QNMs with non-Markovian (external) inter- arrival and service times under various types of blocking mechanisms. This research mainly focuses on: i) To develop and validate cost effective analytical models for arbitrary QNMs with blocking and multiple job classes. ii) To use the analytical models to evaluate the performance of QNMs under various blocking mechanisms applicable to flexible manufacturing systems and high speed telecommunication networks. iii) To develop approximate analytical algorithms for arbitrary QNMs consisting of G/G/1/N censored-type queues with arbitrary arrival and service processes, single server under Partial Buffer Sharing (PBS) and Complete Buffer Partitioning (CBP) schemes stipulating a sequence of buffer thresholds {N=N1,N2,...,NR,0< Ni ≤ Ni-1 , i=1,2,...,R} and buffer partitioning with FCFS service discipline. {chapter 4 and 5} iv) Validation of these algorithms (iii) using QNAP simulation package. v) Extension of the above algorithms for multiple servers and its validation using simulation. Determining a performance distribution via classical queueing theory may prove to be an infeasible task even for systems of queues with moderate complexity. Hence, the principle of entropy maximization may be applied to characterize useful information theoretic approximations of performance distributions of queueing systems and queueing network models (QNMs). vFocusing on an arbitrary open QNM, the ME solution for the joint state probability, subject to marginal mean value constraints, can be interpreted as a product-form approximation. Thus, the principle of ME implies a decomposition of a complex QNM into individual queues each of which can be analyzed separately with revised inter arrival and service times. Moreover, the marginal ME state probability of a single queue, in conjunction with suitable formulae for the first two moments of the effective flow, can play the role of a cost-effective analytic building block towards the computation of the performance metrics for the entire network.
