Kinetic Plasma instabilities are important for regulating the temperature anisotropies of electrons and ions in the solar wind. The plasma compression generates the perpendicular anisotropy, T┴ >Tll, which leads the mirror instability for high beta situation but for low beta regime the electromagnetic ion/electron cyclotron (EMIC/EMEC) instabilities. The said unstable modes including electrons are simplified and reduced quasi linear kinetic theory with assumption of bi-Maxwellian velocity distribution function. For mirror mode instability, the linear growth rate of electron mirror mode can be much higher than the proton mirror mode and electron part operates over a range of unstable wave numbers that is much broader than proton part. But in quasi linear analysis, high initial growth rate does not necessarily imply dynamical importance, the saturated magnetic field intensity associated with electrons is extremely low and that the influence on the particle temperature is minimal. The EMIC/EMEC instabilities are taken into account with parallel propagation in two dimensions. The present manuscript extends the analysis to two (or with cylindrical symmetry, three) dimensions. The analysis is further extended to include quasilinear description with the assumption of bi-Maxwellian velocity distribution function. Such an analysis lays the foundation for eventual study in which cyclotron instabilities as well as obliquely propagating unstable modes such as the mirror instability are simultaneously taken into account.

عارف عباسی بھی اﷲ کو پیارے ہوگئے، وہ اس دور کے ممتاز غزل گو اور جگر کے طرز کے کامیاب مقلد تھے، انہوں نے اپنی ظاہری وضع و قطع بھی انہی کی جیسی بنالی تھی، ان کا مکان اعظم گڑھ سے متصل ضلع ملبا میں تھا اس لئے اعظم گڑھ میں اُن کے پرانے تعلقات تھے اور یہاں برابر اُن کی آمدورفت رہتی تھی پہلے جب اعظم گڑھ آنا ہوتا تھا تو دارالمصنفین ضرور آتے تھے، اور اپنے تازہ کلام سے محظوظ کرتے تھے، مگر ادھر کچھ دنوں سے اس وضعداری میں فرق آگیا تھا، عرصہ تک اُن کی غزلیں معارف میں چھپتی رہیں، اُن کے تعزل میں بڑی لطافت و پاکیزگی تھی ابتدا میں راجہ صاحب نانپارہ کے لڑکوں کے اتالیق رہے تھے، اس لئے درباری آداب اور علم مجلس کے بڑے ماہر تھے، اُن کی عمر ساٹھ باسٹھ سال کی رہی ہوگی، ادھر کچھ دنوں سے کچھ قلبی شکایت ہوگئی تھی، اسی نے مرض الموت کی شکل اختیار کرلی، اﷲ تعالیٰ ان کی مغفرت فرمائے۔ (شاہ معین الدین ندوی،نومبر ۱۹۷۱ء)

Evaluasi Kebijakan Manajemen Pemerintah Kota Padang Dalam Pencegahan Penyebaran Virus Covid-19

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memahami sejauh mana Implementasi kebijakan pemerintah dalam pencegahan penyebaran Covid19, untuk mengetahui implementasi kebijakan pemerintah terhadap masyarakat dan mengetahui faktor yang mempengaruhi dalam pencegahan penyebaran Covid 19. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Kantor Dinas Kesehatan Kota Padang dan Badan Kesatuan Bangsa dan Politik. Penelitian ini menerapkan teknik analisis kualitatif menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif. Hasil dan kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah pemerintah telah menerapkan beberapa kebijakan dalam penanganan covid19 diantaranya melakukan pemberian pelayanan kesehatan masyarakat selama masa pandemi. Peraturan yang telah dibuat harus selalu dipatuhi mengingat faktor penghambat dari implementasi kebijakan ini adalah kesadaran diri terhadap bahaya virus Covid19.

Construction of Diallel Cross Design by Using the Method of Cyclic Shifts

Experimental design, used to study the effect of some factors on a process, have wide application in modern scientific research. Main purpose of this research project is the study and construction of complete diallel cross (CDC) design and partial diallel cross (PDC)design by method of cyclic shifts. Diallel cross designs for block designs were developed by different authors. Schmidt (1919) first introduced “the Diallel Cross Design”. Following the main structure of diallel cross deigns, a new designs for different classes of designs are constructed by method of cyclic shifts. This technique is useful to establish several series construction plans. Optimality and efficiency of different classes of designs are also obtained in this project. Uddin and Morgan (1990) derive a general construction technique for specific classes of balanced incomplete block designs with nested rows, which impose more restriction on parameters. A general balanced incomplete block designs with nested rows and columns construction technique is derived by Shaffer and Srivastav(2009). The universal optimality of all designs arising from the construction techniques is also obtained. In this thesis, we are followed the proposed model (for unblocked situation) of Ghosh and Das (2003), we have constructed CDC and PDC design using a new method called cyclic shifts. The significant aspect of method of cyclic shifts is that the properties of a design can be obtained from the off-diagonal elements of the concurrence matrix without constructing the actual blocks of the design. The newly proposed designs possess the property of A-optimality for some specific values of v, b and block size.
