Agriculture have been responsible for feeding growing population for decads by developing new technologies of crops especially staple crops like maize, wheat, rice etc. But unfortunately the main focus of agriculture have always been on increasing crop production instead of promoting human health. To improve human health, increase in micronutrient contents in crops are required. To mitigate this micronutrient malnutrition, fortification of food is most common approach. Among fortification, biofortification of crops with essential nutrients provides an economical tool to rescue micronutrient deficiency in target populations globally. The use of plant growth promoting microorganisms (PGPR) is promising technique in this respect. It is well recognized that the mobilization of plant nutrient is promoted by the use of microorganisms and it ultimately reduces the need of chemical fertilizers. However, informations on interventions using PGPR or other biological agents is limited. This study included isolation, screening and characterization of Zn-solubilizing and siderophore producing PGPR and optimization of different compost levels for improving Zn and Fe availability in soils. For this purpose, several zinc solubilizing bacteria (ZSB) were isolated from rhizosphere of wheat crop from different areas and quantified on the basis of zinc solubilizing potential and maximum pH reduction in broth culture by bacterial isolates. The isolates were then checked for their potential to produce siderophores. Af ter that, 35 bacterial isolates were selected and screened on the basis of plant growth promotion activities under axenic conditions. From this, 7 bacterial isolates were selected for pot study. These isolates had ability for IAA production both in presence and absence of L-tryptophane and also had ACC-deaminase activity. These isolates were also capable of producing different types of organic acids that reduces the soil pH. Different levels of compost (0, 200, 400, 600, 800, 1000, 1200, 1400, 1600, 1800 and 2000 kg/ha) was mixed with soil and incubated for different time intervals and then selected on the basis of iron and zinc release pattern through optimization study. With increasing application of compost, the iron and zinc release was also increased and became maximum at 800 kg/ha compost. After that there was non-significant effect of compost on zinc and iron release and with further increase, this release start decreasing. Soil dehydrogenase and phosphatae activities was also increased with compost application. The release was maximum after 45 days of incubation. These compost levels and selected isolates from previous study was then evaluated in pot experiment. Data were analyzed following Factorial under CRD. The inoculation of bacterial isolates showed positive effect on physical, physiological and yield parameters over un-inoculated control. Among the isolates H-103 performed better and showed maximum growth. The results of 800 kg/ha application of compost was significant from lower levels (0 and 600kg/ha) and nonsignificant with higher level (1000 kg/ha). Grain zinc and iron concentration was also significantly increased by combined use of compost and bacterial isolates. These results were then confirmed under field trial. Data were analyzed following Factorial under RCBD. The inoculation of bacterial isolates showed positive effect on physical, physiological and yield parameters over un-inoculated control. Among the isolates H-103 performed better and showed maximum growth. Maximum growth was recorded with 800 kg/ha compost application. Seed zinc and iron concentration was increased and phytic acid contents were decreased upon inoculation. Concluding, the combined use of PGPR and compost is an effective, economical, novel approach for improving yield, quality and nutritional status of wheat crop which can help in combating micronutrient deficiencies. ate showed less height as compared to other isolate, but still it shows a positive response when compared with the control.

Zakat is one of the most important elements of Islam, which is obligatory upon every able-bodied Muslim after fulfilling the conditions of Zakat. In this regard, zakat payers either pay their zakat themselves or the government collects zakat from them through financial institutions, in which a large part is obtained through bank accounts, so four points need to be researched in this article. 1. The accounts of the people in the bank will be counted according to which type of assets? The preferable opinion in this is that the bank accounts will be counted among the internal assets.2. Does the government have the right to withdraw zakat from people's deposits in the bank or the owner of the property? The opinion of the majority of scholars is that it is obligatory to give Zakat to the government of the external assets, and the government has the authority to ask for Zakat regarding the internal assets 3. Are bank accounts like loans? In summary, the status of a bank account is similar to a debt, but a new type of debt. 4. Are all the conditions of Zakat observed in Pakistani banks regarding the deduction of Zakat or not? From the evidences, it has been concluded that there are six flaws in the method of zakat collection through banks. In this paper, Analytical research methodology is adopted. In this paper, the researcher has preferred to derive concepts from the primary sources related to the subject and later has used secondary sources and contemporary references so that the subject is embellished by the combination of ancient and modern views.

Role of the Principal in Involving the Parents in Various Activities of the School

The study explores the role of the principal in involving parents in various school activities in a private secondary school in Karachi, Pakistan. The study employed a case-study method to explore the phenomenon. My sampling criteria were purposive. I conducted my study in a school where the principal involved the parents in the affairs of school, and the parents contributed their expertise and inputs in various activities of school. The research participants were Principal, vice-principal, three class teachers at secondary level and ten parents (five male and five female). The data were collected through semi-structured interviews, observations of homeschool relations during the research study (progress/reports day meetings and concert etc.) and document analysis regarding parental involvement in various activities of the school. The case study school is located in the area where majority of the people are from low socio-economic background. It is a co-education school. Majority of the parents are not formally educated. The principal started leading the school with limited resources and in challenging circumstances. However, the findings illustrate that the principal regarded parents as her big strength. The data suggest that there are various activities and processes, in which the principal played different roles to involve the parents, for example, school's vision-statement and policies formulation, co-curricular activities, students' progress, Parent- Teacher Association (PTA) sessions, management of students' behaviours, classroom visits and homework. After analyzing the data, three main roles emerged from the findings. The roles were: the principal as a; 'strategic leader', 'pedagogical leader' and 'democratic leader'. Firstly, her role as a strategic leader emerged when she became vision developer, policy initiator, activity planner, implementer and navigator of different issues of the students. Secondly, the role of the principal as a pedagogical leader emerged when she created a friendly environment with trust and good relations among all stakeholders and became academic expert, mentor, master teacher and feedback provider for further improvement in the school. Finally, the role of the principal as a democratic leader emerged when she showed good relations with the parents and involved all the stakeholders to create a caring and friendly environment in the school.
