Objectives: The current study was planned with 4 main objectives; the first objective was to find prevalence of PTB in Pakistan (by taking primary data) and to find the global pooled prevalence (using Meta-analysis), 2nd objective was to explore risk of PTB in presence of different risk factors like, 3rd objective was to compare number of risk factors by scoring / indexing of factors contributing to PTB and 4th objective was to see combined effect of all risk factors of different domains in terms of number of risk factors. Methodology: Data collected from departments of Gynecology of four different hospitals of major provinces of Pakistan and secondary data of published reaches was utilized for Meta-analysis. A total of 1,691 females were taken in current study with the help of consultant gynecologists or duty staff nurse to note their gestational age after delivery to find prevalence of preterm birth in Pakistan and 46 studies (n = 6,788,033) were used to find pooled prevalence of preterm birth using Meta-analysis technique. To find risk factors of preterm birth two groups were made i.e. preterm birth (served as cases) and full term birth (served as controls) taken from those 1,691 females. The advanced data mining techniques like Binary Logistic Regression (LR), Artificial Neural Networks (ANNs) and Support Vector Machine (SVM) were used to find best predictive accuracy of preterm birth in presence of different factors. Lastly scoring/indexing of different domains was done to know the combined impact of number of factors for preterm birth. Results: According to results of this study prevalence of preterm birth was found as 21.64% females and overall pooled prevalence of preterm birth was found as 11.3%. Using different data mining techniques the heights sensitivity and specificity were provided by Support Vector Machine (SVM) preceded by Artificial Neural Networks (ANNs) and Logistic Regression. Interestingly highest area under receiver operator characteristic curve (ROC) was calculated as 96.95% using ANNs, the area under curve of ROC for Logistic Regression was 93.89% and of SVM was 96.81%. Conclusion: Based on the findings a high prevalence of preterm birth was found in Pakistan and globally using Meta-analysis. Many modifiable and controllable risk factors like body mass index, different curable diseases or conditions during pregnancy and fetal conditions were found.

Impact of Interest Rates Changes on Banking Profitability Sector in India: An Empirical Research on the Profitability Performance of Selected Nationalized Banks in India

The study designed the impact of an interest rate change on the profitability of the banking sector in India. In this work comparative analysis of various profitability performance ratios like ROA, ROE, ROCE, Net Profit Margin Ratio, EPS, etc… and also find out the impact of interest rate on banks profitability with the help of correlation and regression analysis of selected nine nationalized banks in India. The data is collected through various annual reports of selected respective banks from 2011-12 to 2019-20. For the analysis, the data researchers have used various statistical tools like Mean, Ratio, Correlation Analysis, and Regression Analysis. This study concluded that out of all selected ratios, ROA, ROCE, Net Profit Margin Ratio, Net Interest Income/Total assets, Net Interest Margin Ratio and Capital adequacy Ratio indicated that null hypothesis is rejected which means there is a significant difference between these ratios of selected nationalized banks during the study period and also found that Bank Rate has significantly impacted on Net Profit Margin Ratio in all selected nationalized banks in India.

To Study the Anti-Ulcer Effect of Azadirachta Indica Leaf Extract and Isolated Compound of Neem Nimolicine Nc in Comparison With Ulcer Healing Drugs on Gastric Mucosa of Albino Rats.

The anti-ulcer effects of methanolic extract of neem leaf (NLE) and neem compound nimolicine (NC) have been studied and the effects were compared with the ulcer healing drugs Ranitidine and Omeperazole on stomach of albino rats (Wistar strain). A total of 90 rats of both sex weighing 150-200 gms were used in the study. The rats were divided into six groups. Per oral administration of ethanol (100%) was used for ulcer induction. This group served as a check group. The control group was given Peanut oil 1 ml/day for the treatment of ulcer. The test groups received NLE 1ml/day (0.88 gm) p/o for 5 days and NC 1% (0.01 gm in 1 ml) p/o per day for 3 days. The healing was compared to the healing effects of p/o Ranitidine 50 mg/kg and Omeperazole (2.5mg/kg). The ulcer induction and healing effects both were confirmed by histopathology of the gastric tissues. The calculation of ulcer index and ulcer inhibition percentage was done. The gastric secretion of H mEq/100 Gms of rat was also calculated. The antioxidant activity of NLE and NC was also done. Finally the identification of NLE, NC, and drugs in tissue extracts were done by HPLC. The results were analysed by using a one way ANOVA by a SPSS version 18 computerized software programme. The P value (P<0.05) was considered significant. The results show that NLE is better than NC and the anti ulcer effect of NLE can be compared to the anti-ulcer drugs Ranitidine and Omeperazole. The high antioxidant activity of NLE compared to NC may explain the mechanism of action of NLE whichxiv needs further explorations. The effects of NLE and NC on gastric secretion of H mEq/100 gms when compared with PNO and Ranitidine and Omeperazole were insignificant. However there was a significant difference on comparison of gastric secretion between PNO control and Ranitidine. Further studies are required to confirm the present study by conducting clinical trials. Anti ulcer treatment by NLE will be of financial benefit to the community in developing countries specially in Pakistan. In conclusion NLE has a better ulcer healing effect compared to NC. The effect of NLE can be compared to the ulcer healing drugs Ranitidine and Omeperazole.
