مولانا محمد میاں سے قارئین معارف بخوبی واقف ہیں، ان کی علمی و عملی خدمات محتاج تعارف نہیں، وہ درکفے جام شریعت درکفے سندان عشق کے قائل تھے، انھوں نے علمی شغف اور قومی خدمت کو اپنی زندگی میں سمو رکھا تھا، مطالعہ و تحقیق اور تصنیف و تالیف کے لئے سکون قلب اور فراغ خاطر ضروری سمجھا جاتا ہے لیکن محمد میاں نے سیاست کے پرشور ہنگاموں اور قیدوبند کی پریشانیوں میں یہ منزل طے کی ہے، انھوں نے نہ کبھی دارورسن کا خوف کیا نہ آبلہ پائی کا گلہ وہ مطالعہ میں مصروف ہوتے یا درس و تدریس میں منہمک یا خاندانی مشاغل میں مشغول، جیسے ہی جنگ آزادی کابگل بجتا میدان میں نکل آتے، اور اس راہ کی ہر پریشانی خندہ پیشانی سے برداشت کرتے، وہ زندگی بھر اس روش پر چلتے رہے، سیاست کے ساتھ تقویٰ پر عمل بہت مشکل ہے، مگر انھوں نے سیاسی زندگی کو پاکیزگی سے کبھی جدا نہیں ہونے دیا، ان کی خدمت بے لوث اور ان کی سیرت بے داغ تھی، جماعتی زندگی میں کشمکش عام ہے، ہر شخص سیادت کا طالب ہوتا ہے لیکن ان کا ذہن اس عیب سے پاک تھا، انھوں نے اپنے مفاد پر جماعت کے مفاد کو ہمیشہ مقدم رکھا اور اس راہ ایثار میں ہر پریشانی کو خندہ پیشانی کے ساتھ برداشت کرتے رہے، افسوس ہے کہ علم و عمل اور ایثار و خدمت کا یہ مجسمہ دنیا سے رخصت ہوگیا، اﷲ تعالیٰ انھیں اپنی رحمت سے سرفراز فرمائے، اور دوسروں کو ان کی پاکیزہ اور پرخلوص زندگی کو نمونہ عمل بنانے کی توفیق عطا فرمائے۔

This article is an attempt to elaborate the phenomenon of equilibrium prevailing everywhere in the microcosmic and macrocosmic systems associated with universal stability and rhythm. It has been accentuated what is beautifully illuminated in the beginning verses of Sūrah Al-Rahmān successively regarding balance that invites one’s thought towards the well controlled cosmic system as well as with the concept of balance by means of different manners as identified by exegetes and scholars concerning daily life i.e. From simple and common to that of complex issues and intricacies. Qualitative method has been employed for this research while some aspects have also been handled in accordance with quantitative approach. Article also emphasized the series of cause and effect nexus may be declared as self explanatory episode an indication towards a Supreme Force whose widespread control and interference can’t be denied rationally. Sūrah beautifully pictured the physical and metaphysical sketch of balance having many dimensions from man to universe and vice versa as well as from both towards Ultimate Reality whose dominion is limitless where one has to follow peaceful living and to put oneself aside indulging any disruption from ordinary clash to that of nuclear war to be waged.
Software development is a critical task that require comprehensive guidelines in the form of software development process model. Plan driven software development models were the earliest models that mostly provide sequential development approach. With the passage of time, changing business environment, needs and technologies made these models inappropriate for software development.Agile models were emerged to overcome the limitations of traditional plan driven software development models.These models received a huge acceptance from software industry due to their distinguishing features and practices.
Extreme Programming is one of the renowned agile model that uses agile practices to handle unclear and changing requirements with good level of customer satisfaction.It uses iterative and incremental approach to develop a quality software in considerable short time duration. It works well for small scale projects however some of its limitation make it less suitable for medium and large scale projects. Lack of documentation, poor architectural structure and less focus on design are its major limitations that effect its performance. Furthermore some of its practices like on-site-customer and pair programming are a bit controversial that cannot be applied in every situation or may overburden development process when applied. To overcome these limitations and make XP suitable for medium scale projects, a customized version of XP called SXP (Simplified Extreme Programming Model is proposed in this research.Proposed model tried to cover these problem without effecting agility and simplicity of XP. SXP model introduced explicit analysis and design phase to solve design related issues. It also removes unnecessary norms of pair programming and on-site-customer practices.
For validation and evaluation of this model a controlled case study is conducted. Two different teams developed medium scale projects using classical XP and Proposed SXP model respectively.Comparison of data collected against different quality parameters showed that SXP model provide considerably better results than classical XP.
