This thesis is devoted to study some interesting cosmic issues in the context of modi- ¯ed Gauss-Bonnet theories. Firstly, we explore the instability ranges of a spherically symmetric anisotropic collapsing °uid under expansion-free condition in f(G) grav- ity. We apply the ¯rst order perturbation scheme to the metric components as well as °uid variables and construct the corresponding ¯eld equations for both static as well as perturbed con¯gurations using viable power-law f(G) model. We establish dynamical equations using contracted Bianchi identities to discuss the dynamical in- stability in both Newtonian and post-Newtonian regimes. It is found that instability ranges depend on energy density, anisotropic pressures and Gauss-Bonnet terms but independent of adiabatic index for expansion-free collapsing °uid. Secondly, we generalize f(G) gravity by introducing non-minimal coupling be- tween Gauss-Bonnet invariant and trace of the energy-momentum tensor named as f(G; T) gravity and explore energy conditions for two reconstructed models in the background of homogeneous and isotropic universe. It is found that the massive test particles move along geodesic trajectories due to the presence of extra force originated from non-zero divergence of the energy-momentum tensor. The energy bounds are expressed in terms of deceleration, jerk and snap cosmological parameters. We study energy conditions for reconstructed models corresponding to de Sitter and power-law cosmological background using pressureless °uid and obtain feasible constraints on free parameters. Thirdly, we discuss stability of the Einstein static universe against homogeneous as well as inhomogeneous scalar perturbations in f(G; T) gravity. We investigate sta- bility regions for particular f(G; T) models corresponding to zero as well as non-zero covariant divergence of the energy-momentum tensor. The graphical analysis shows that stable Einstein universe exists for both spatially closed as well as open universe xi xii models against homogeneous and inhomogeneous perturbations for appropriate choice of parameters. Finally, we analyze stability of some cosmic evolutionary models against linear per- turbations in Hubble parameter and energy density of matter distribution in f(G; T) gravity. We establish the ¯eld equations for both general and particular f(G; T) forms in the context of FRW universe model. We apply the reconstruction technique and found that this theory describes the de Sitter universe, power-law solutions as well as phantom/non-phantom eras cosmological backgrounds. We also discuss stability of de Sitter and power-law reconstructed f(G; T) models and ¯nd stable results against linear perturbations.

The Analytical Study of Medication During Fasting in the Perspective of Shariah Rulings

The beauty of religion Islam is not only to provide the complete life style and charter for one to lead his life smoothly but it flourishes the human life with its eternal directions and commands full of hidden pleasures coupled with physical and spiritual care of human body. In fact, the everlasting religion comprised of such rulings that help individuals in every walk of life until and unless these rulings are implemented and executed in a proper way according to the prescribed codes of Almighty Allah and his Messenger, Prophet Muhammad PBUH. The thorough study of Shariah rulings reveals the fact that to protect the man’s life or even to make it in comfort and ease, the gradual and steady relaxation has been observed like the one unable to perform prayer in standing position, legitimate for him to sit or even through gestures according to the status of his illness and disease. Similarly, the fasting is important part of Worship, obligation upon Muslim to observe fasting during Ramadan with intentions to get Allah’s pleasure and piousness. This research study emphasis on highlighting the shariah rulings about the medication during fasting in order to know the extent of use, specification in drugs like injections and drips along with some relevant discussion about the spirit of medicine permission. The study will be the real addition to the knowledge and will be fine guidance for the Practiced Muslims.

Grid Computing in Financial Services

A Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN) comprises of numerous sensor nodes which can be used as an effective tool for data collection in different applications like remote health care, war field surveillance, environmental monitoring, smart farming etc. WSN has rapidly gain massive global attractions which gives a new perspective to deal with things contrary to the traditional approach of performing tasks. WSN nodes are multifunctional, low-cost processing and sensing unit with a limited pre-installed battery capacity that are directly or indirectly connect and collaborate with each other. These nodes organize themselves in their environment to gather information, process it, share and transmit collected data at end-point that provide unattended operations or less human intervention which reduce financial cost and minimize the risks. As GDP is the key factor of the country in terms of economic health and services capability in an international market from various industries like textile, manufacturing, agriculture etc. So, the minimization of financial losses to increase the overall GDP is utmost important. One of the major challenges of WSN is to collect aggregated data with minimum energy consumption from sensor nodes to base station. In this thesis, the focus is to enhance the network performance with minimum energy consumption based on the Hybrid Multi-Tier Mobile Data Collector (MDC) based Cluster / GRID routing protocol. This protocol makes use of a GRID / Cluster based MultiTier architecture and uses multi-hop communication mechanism between clusters and base station. The Hybrid Multi-Tier MDC based protocol shows substantial improvements in minimizing sensor nodes’ energy consumption and improve the network life. Hence, the better instantaneous monitoring, increase administrative power on going tasks, in depth historical insight, and smart decision making become possible with minimal investment that strength farmers and assure higher revenue.
