Taxonomic studies of the abundant and diverse rhinoceros fossil materials from different formations of the Siwaliks, Pakistan, were undertaken. Most of the fossil remains came from the previously described localities. However some new localities were also explored for the collection of specimens. Over all fifty four specimens, collected from different localities of the lower, middle and upper Siwaliks are described in this dissertation. Among fifty; nine specimens belong to the genus Rhinoceros, two specimens belong to the genus Punjabitherium, fifteen specimens belong to the genus Gaindatherium, seven specimens belong to the genus Alicornops, thirteen specimens belong to the genus Brachypotherium, and eight specimens belong to the genus Chilotherium. All the described specimens include some complete maxillary and mandibular tooth series, isolated teeth and fragments of maxillae or mandibles. A complete right and left maxillary tooth series (P1-M3) of Rhinoceros sivalensis is described for the first time from the Tatrot Fm. of the upper Siwaliks. Fossil remains of Rhinoceros sondaicus and Punjabitherium platyrhinus are also a new addition to the rhinoceros fauna of the Pinjor Fm. of the upper Siwaliks of Pakistan. Alicornops complanatum a new binomen proposed by Antoine et al., (2003c) is considered valid in the present study for Chilotherium intermedium complanatum (Heissig, 1972). Alicornops aff. laogouense is also described for the first time from the Kamlial Fm. of the lower Siwaliks of Pakistan. Maps showing the stratigraphic ranges of the various taxa of the Siwalik rhinoceroses in correlation to the published records are also presented herein this dissertation. The fossil material was collected from fifteen different localities of the Siwalik Fms. A new fossiliferous locality at Lava (Chinji Fm., Lower Siwaliks), district Chakwal, has been discovered.

قرآن مجید فصاحت و بلاغت کےاعتبار سے ایک مثالی کتاب ہے۔علم معانی ہو یا علمِ بیان یا علم بلاغت کے ماہرین نے اس کی لسانی وادبی خصوصیات کو نگارشات کا موضوع بنایا ہے۔ فصاحت و بلا غت کی انہی خوبیوں کی بنا پر قرآن مجید کو کلام مبین بھی کہا گیا ہے۔ قرآن مجید میں جہاں ایجاز و اطناب اور ربط و مساوات کے اسالیب نظر آتے ہیں، وہیں تقدیم و تاخیر اور حذف کے اسلوب بھی نمایاں ہیں۔ قرآن مجید کے مختلف و منفرد اسالیب میں سے ایک اہم اسلوب ِ استفہام ہے۔

استفہام عربی زبان کا لفظ ہے جس کے معنی سوال کرنے، جاننے،فہم حاصل کرنے اور استفسار کرنے کے معنوں میں استعمال ہوتا ہے۔ ادب میں استفہام کسی حقیقت سے مخاطب کو آگاہ کرنے ، مخاطب کو غورو فکر کی دعوت دینا، اور اپنی بات کا ثبات کرنا وغیرہ کے معنوں میں مستعمل ہے۔چنانچہ قرآن مجید میں بھی استفہام کا اسلوب بکثرت استعمال کیا گیا ہے۔

Gog and Magog Interpretations by Modern Scholars and its Application on Contemporary Nations: An Analytical Study According to the Islamic point of view Gog and Magog (Ya’jūj Ma’jūj), are two such supernatural and aggressive powers that will reveal from some unknown place. According to Islamic sources the two disbelieving powers (tribes) are the children of Yāfith son of Noah. Humanity will affect badly at their severely harmful activities on the earth. In the beginning they were free into some unknown place. The famous king Dhulqarnayn imprisoned them behind an unknown thick wall in human history. There are many conjectures regarding the wall, and it is sometimes considered in any Norwegian country because of too long duration of sunrise in these countries. Their population will be 10 times more than the World’s populations. They will be so much trouble creating nation from the race of Noah (A.S) even Isa (Christ) will take refuge on the mountain of Toor and Muslims will pray Allah to get rid of them. Today some modern Islamic researchers have been claiming that they are in fact, Chines or Russians as we find their resemblance in prophet's traditions. In this article, an attempt has been made to unveil the disputed matter that either they exist in current age in form of living peoples or some hidden which will be revealed before the end of time. The purpose of this research is to revisit different speculations about Gog and Magog as we find them also into the Bible. Many Muslims research took effect from Bible’s concept ignoring the traditions of the prophet and find out many different solutions which, according to me are to be seen into the true and clear facts by Quran and Sunnah.

An Efficient Clustering of Wireless Sensor Network by Spectral Graph Partitioning

The past decade has observed the development of wireless sensor networks (WSNs) being used in a great number of applications. For the better routing and energy efficiency, WSNs are partitioned into clusters. Partitioning was done to minimize the distances between the source node and the sink. In order to achieve better partitioning, graph partitioning methods can be used. Such techniques are mostly used in distributed environment and applications, but they are not much efficient in wireless sensor networks due to the dynamic topology and multi-hop transmission. In this paper, few existing graph partitioning methods have been discussed and studied which may be implemented for WSN partitioning. A novel partitioning method is tested in this paper, which is better in terms of efficiency in WSN partitioning.
