شاہ اقبال احمد ردولوی
افسوس ہے کہ ۱۴؍ مئی ۲۰۰۴ء کو شاہ اقبال احمد ردولوی کا انتقال ہوگیا، اِناﷲ وَاِنا اِلَیہ رَاجِعُون۔ دارالمصنفین کے سابق ناظم مولانا شاہ معین الدین احمد ندوی کا وطن بھی ردولی تھا، وہ وہاں کے شرفا کے ادبی ذوق، تہذیبی شائستگی اور نفاست کا ذکر برابر کرتے تھے، اس سے ردولی کے خاص معیار، رکھ رکھاؤ اور وہاں کے لوگوں کی شرافت، وضعداری اور خوش مذاقی کا نقش دل پر ثبت ہوگیا تھا۔
شاہ معین الدین احمد صاحب معارف میں کبھی کبھی اقبال صاحب کا کلام شائع کرتے تھے، ادہر پھر ان کا کلام معارف میں چھپتا تھا اور جب تک قومی آواز لکھنو بند نہیں ہوا تھا، اس کے سنڈے اڈیشن میں بھی ان کا کلام نظر سے گزرتا تھا، اس کی وجہ سے ان کے کمال فن کا اندازہ تھا اور گزشتہ ۱۵ برس سے ان سے برابر خط و کتابت رہتی تھی، دس بارہ برس پہلے مجھے عرق النسا کا عارضہ ہوا، لوگوں سے ان کی ’’فقیری دوا‘‘ کی اطلاع ملی تو پروفیسر علی حماد عباسی مرحوم سابق پرنسپل شبلی نیشنل پوسٹ گریجویٹ کالج اعظم گڑھ میرا خط لے کر ان کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوئے اور دوا لے آئے، اس کے بعد شہر کے متعدد لوگوں نے مجھ سے خطوط لکھواکر ان سے دوا منگوائی، میں خط کے پتے پر اگر ان کا نام شاہ اقبال احمد لکھ دیتا تو وہ آزردہ ہوکر مجھے لکھتے کہ میرا ادبی نام اقبال ردولوی ہے، یہی نام پتے اور معارف میں ہونا چاہئے لیکن ان کا اصل نام شاہ اقبال احمد صابری قدوسی تھا اور ان کا خاندانی تعلق حضرت شیخ عبدالقدوس گنگوہیؒ سے تھا، ددھیال کلیر شریف میں تھا اور اس کے سجادہ نشین شاہ عبدالرحیم صاحب ان کے دادا تھے، ننھیال ردولی میں تھا جس کے سجادہ نشین حیات...
1. The Stylistics of Holy Qur'an is way beyond human potential and capabilities. Its diction, semantics and phraseology is unique which is not found in any of man's writings.
2. The range of its stylistics is such that it impresses all and sundry simultaneously. Thus our Holy Qur'an exceeds in rhetoric and stylistics.
3. The stylistics of Qur'an is such that it holds a universal appeal for all times to come despite of the drastic evolutionary change in human society over a time period. The Holy Qur'an has not lost its relevance and freshness uptil now and neither shall it do so till the Day of Resurrection.
4. The Holy Qur'an addresses people belonging to all strata of society from a layman to a universe don. Each person may interpret and appreciate the miraculous Ayah's of Qur'an according to their own caliber and understanding. It offers straight direct teachings to the commoners whereas a scholar may
unfold and marvel at its depth and delicate intricacies.
5. The miracles of the previous prophets were sensual in nature. They could be perceived through our senses. Yet the miracle of our Holy Prophet i.e. Holy Qur'an holds its dynamic appeal rationally and logically. It shall remain so till all times to come.

A small-scale action research was conducted to explore and understand the possibilities and challenges involved in helping teachers to use resources in the teaching and learning of primary mathematics. The study was conducted in a private school in Pakistan with one teacher and her forty-five students. As the main purpose of the research was to help the teacher to improve her use of resources in teaching primary mathematics several teacher learning strategies were adopted to support the teacher to effectively use resources in the classroom. These strategies included: learning through observing the lesson demonstrated by the teacher educator, co-teaching, developing resources, and reflective discussions. The study lasted for seven weeks. The data was collected through various qualitative data collection tools such as observation, interview, tape-recording of the discussions and teacher's and researcher's reflections. According to the literature, resources, if they are planned and presented to the students in an appropriate way, play an important role in teaching mathematics. However, if the teacher does not have the knowledge and skills for using the materials in the mathematics lesson, the children might get confused. Therefore, the study is focused on a primary school teacher's use of resources in order to explore the possibilities and challenges faced by the teacher educator while supporting her in learning to use resources effectively. The study reveals that resources play an important role in teaching mathematics at the primary level and that the teacher's role in helping children to understand mathematical concepts is crucial. The data also reveals that the teacher believes that she needs continuous professional support in terms of use of resources in teaching primary mathematics.
