The basic goal of this study was to discover the socio-cultural effects of television on women television viewers in province of Punjab. It targeted women in selected districts between the ages of 15-45 years. The study recorded the women’s television viewing pattern, level of viewing, preferred television transmission, favorite television programs, favorite watching time and reasons for television viewing. It also analyzed the relationship between level of viewing and demographic information of respondents’ i.e. rural or urban background, age, education, employment status and marital status and television facility. The study crossed checked the demographic characteristics with the television viewing pattern as well as the opinion about television. A total of 1500 sample of respondents was taken from selected districts of the Punjab province out of which 750 from rural background and 750 from urban background. The findings of the research study indicated the respondents viewing habits, liking, disliking and effects. The data was analyzed through SPSS analysis and the findings have been presented in the forms of charts and tables. In order to evaluate the study the researcher has formulated the combination of three theories. In this study, survey method has been applied to obtain data from large representative population. It was also focused in this study that what they think about the television as a medium of information, entertainment, knowledge and tool of political socialization in their lives. The hypotheses of the study were also cheeked through the statistical test chi-square. The study also identified a few areas for future researchers.

زرداری ان سب کا مجرم ہے جن کا بھٹو مجرم تھا ،بے نظیر مجرم تھی ،مرتضی مجرم تھا ،شاہنواز مجرم تھا ،سلمان تاثیر مجرم تھا ،شہباز بھٹی مجرم تھا ،بشیر بلور مجرم تھا،زرداری کو ہر طرح سے توڑا گیا ،گیارہ سال جیل میں رکھ کر ،بھیانک جھوٹے مقدمے بنا کر ،بدترین تشدد کا نشانہ بنا کر ،جیل سے نکال کر وزارت کا حلف اٹھوا کر ،بالآ خر ایوان صدر میں قید کر کے ۔

مگر وہ نہ ٹوٹا ،نہ جھکا نہ بکا بلکہ نا کام دشمن اس کی مسکراہٹ تک نہ توڑ سکے ۔اس پر طرح طرح کے مقدمے بنائے گئے ،مقدمے خود ساختہ ،قاضی اپنے مگر کچھ ثابت نہ کر سکے ،زرداری کی جوانی چھن گئی مگر سچ کا بول بالا ہوا وہ ڈٹا رہا مگر دشمن ہار ماننے والے کب تھے ۔انہوں نے پرکشش الزامات پر مبنی کہانیاں گھڑیں ،میڈیا پر بیٹھے افلاطونوں کو حکم دیا کہ دن رات ان کی کہانیوں کا ڈھنڈورا پیٹو ،اتنا جھوٹ بولو ،بار بار بولو ،لاکھوں بار بولو، جھوٹ کو سچ بنا دو ،بچے بچے کو یاد کروا دو کہ زرداری برا ہے زرداری چور ہے زرداری کرپٹ ہے ۔

Pengaruh Konsep Diri dan Disiplin Belajar terhadap Motivasi Belajar Peserta Didik di Sekolah Menengah Pertama Negeri 4 Palu Pada Mata Pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam

The purpose of this study is to find out the significant effect of self-concept on learning motivation of VII grade students in SMP Negeri 4 Palu on Islamic Religious Education subjects, (2) knowing the effect of learning discipline on learning motivation of VII grade students at SMP Negeri 4 Palu in the eyes of Islamic Religious Education subjects and (3) determine the effect of self-concept and learning discipline on learning motivation of grade VII students in SMP Negeri 4 Palu on Islamic Religious Education subjects. This study uses a quantitative approach. The population in this study were 220 class VII students of SMP Negeri 4 Palu. The sample was determined using proportional random sampling technique using a formula developed by Isaac and Michael, so that a sample of 135 students was obtained. Primary data were obtained using a questionnaire. Data analysis techniques include descriptive analysis, and regression tests using simple regression and multiple regression. The results showed that (1) There was a significant influence between self-concept on learning motivation of VII grade students in SMP Negeri 4 Palu on Islamic Religious Education subjects, with a significance level of 5%, the magnitude of the effect of self-concept variables on students' learning motivation was 0, 615 means having a high influence (2) There is a significant influence between learning discipline on learning motivation of VII grade students in SMP Negeri 4 Palu on Islamic Religious Education subjects, with a significance level of 5%, the magnitude of the effect of the discipline of learning variables on motivation student learning is 0, 565, (3) There is a significant influence between self-concept and learning discipline on learning motivation of grade VII students in SMP Negeri 4 Palu on Islamic Religious Education subjects, with a significance level of 5%, the high influence of concept variables self and discipline of learning towards learning motivation of VII grade students of SMP Nege ri 4 Palu in Islamic Religious Education subjects is 0, 615. The contribution of self-concept variables and learning discipline to learning motivation variables is R2 x 100% or 0, 6152 x 100% = 37.9%, the remaining 62.1% is determined by other variables outside of this study include the level of interest, talent, attention, parenting parents and others.

Hrd As a Set of Generic Activities Associated With Learning Leading to a Learning Organization: A Case of Mobilink, Pakistan.

The purpose of the study was to determine that whether employed Human Resource Development (HRD) activities turn an organization into a learning organization (LO) or not, particularly in context of Pakistan?s telecom sector. Data were collected from Mobilink, market leader of telecom sector of Pakistan, through questionnaire designed by Marsick and Watkins (2003), semi-structured personal and telephonic interviews and non-participant observation. It was found that HRD activities implemented in organization can serve as a great source to be a learning organization when these activities ensure holistic learning at individual level, team/group level and organizational level in a culture and climate of learning reinforced by strategic leadership.
