lzheimer’s disease (AD), the most common form of dementia, is an extremely serious health problem, and one that will worsen in the coming decades as the global population ages. AD is categorized through memory loss, cognitive impairment and inability to do daily routine tasks. This has led to a massive effort to develop both new treatments for the condition and new methods of diagnosis; in fact the two are intimately linked as future treatments will depend on earlier diagnosis, which in turn requires the development of methods that can be used to identify and track the disease. Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI) is a pre-clinical, pre-symptomatic stage of AD. Patients suffering from MCI have mild memory complaints but intact daily activities. However, only a small percentage of MCI population develop dementia due to AD in the future. MCI patients at risk of developing AD, if identified, monitored and treated, can be given a healthier life. This thesis focuses on early diagnosis of AD by identifying MCI-to-AD progressors. The proposed individual based system takes baseline and one follow-up reading of selected multivariate markers as input and returns the predicted patient status at the subsequent follow-up visit. The process is divided into two phases. The first phase deals with using the available longitudinal data to forecast the marker readings at future time points. For this we propose a novel piecewise linear model with mixed effects from the multivariate markers under consideration. Piecewise linear gradient offsets between subsequent follow-up intervals are modeled as ordinary linear equations modulated by linear prediction coefficients. The linear prediction coefficients are obtained through error minimization and utilized to measure the effect of heterogeneous markers upon the future value of the particular predictor under study. Once the complete time-point trajectory depicting marker flow is obtained, state-ofthe-art supervised machine learning methods are employed to classify the trajectory. These methods include Support Vector Machines (SVM) and Random Forests (RF). This framework is used to identify most effective predictors of conversion in a wrapper based feature selection setup. Furthermore various missing data imputation methods are xi adopted to enlarge the longitudinal dataset size and scrutinize the stability of our tool in presence of artificially generated data. The implemented algorithms are tested and evaluated on publicly available AD dataset using performance parameters such as Mean Absolute Error and Mean Squared Error Area for future value forecasting and Area Under ROC Curve (AUC), accuracy, sensitivity and specificity for classification. The performance improvement of our proposed system is demonstrated by comparing them with recently proposed and published methods

تحریف قرآن پر عقلی و نقلی دلائل کا تنقیدی جائزہ

The ECE teaching in pre-primary schools is enhanced by the Government in primary schools the student must be 3-8 years’ classes of Pakistan. This subject is a source of learning to know the things as well as to familiar with the school environments and connected to schools same time will be a responsible citizen, so the mosques are playing very important role in teaching of little kids from beginning of Islam to till date. It is more successfully working in our mosques and provide basic education for learner, so in this study found out the effectiveness of mosques for ECE pre-primary education SBA, Sindh  Pakistan for this study sample was selected from the school teachers which were consist on 100 hundred  and five like rate scale questioners were distributed among them to know the effectiveness of mosques for ECE education according the finding most the respondent were agreed that the mosques will be the suitable place for little kids learning place because mostly every  colony, muhalla, village, street had a mosque and almost one or two rooms are also connected to mosques only few mosques where this facility is not avail able otherwise mostly these mosques  is also  a big class room if it is used carefully so this all was effective conclusion for the effectiveness of ECE     as well as for the learners learning point of view. So it is also recommended for Government as well as policy makers to revisit polices of teaching ECE classes and their effectiveness in regards to mosques where all facilities have been already present must be included in streamline of Pakistan

Reading and Writing Skills for Advanced Students of Business

Reading and Writing Skills for Advanced Students of Business Business English is relatively a new subject in Pakistan. Research in this area at the doctorate level is virtually non-existent. This research investigated and analyzed the teaching-learning situation of Business English at the undergraduate level in Pakistan. The study focused on reading and writing skills in Business English teaching (BET). It was an exploratory study with ex post facto design. The study established theoretical framework for Business English as a Discourse and English for occupational purposes (EOP). The theoretical framework also discussed communication in general and Business or organizational communication in particular. The input to this research comprised empirical data collected through a questionnaire survey from a sample comprising 13 course administrators in the educational institutions, 23 practitioners of Business English, and 316 learners of Business English. There were 13 professional education institutions in 7 cities selected for the sample. The data collected was analyzed through the SPSS (release 12.0) program by looking at average, maximum, minimum, and SD. Results of statistical analysis were interpreted independently. A contrastive study of practitioners and learners' responses tested 32 hypotheses about BET by using independent sample t-test. The study presented a set of recommendations based on inferences for effective BET. The recommendations aimed at equipping the learners with written communication skills to meet with the field challenges.
