Breast cancer (BC) is the highest cause of deaths in ladies around the globe. Woman are unaware in the remote and backward areas of under developed and developing states, that treatment of breast cancer is possible if it is found at an early stage. The casualties of BC can also be reduced, if demographic risk factors of female are evaluated a prior. Due to its nature of complexity, identifying breast irregularity through mammography and/or ultrasonography is a challenging job for radiologists. A more consistent and precise imaging based computer aided diagnosis (CAD) system assists in recognition of breast cancer at initial stage and play a noteworthy role in the classification of suspicious breast lesions. Ultrasonography of breast is acknowledged as the utmost significant support to mammography for patients with palpable masses and unsatisfying results of mammograms especially in case of young female. Therefore, a CAD system is required for breast ultrasound (BUS) images to distinguish malignant and benign cases. This dissertation has two main modules: the first one is CAD system and second one is the risk assessment of BC. In the proposed CAD framework, pre-processing is executed to remove the unwanted area and suppress the noise from the mammography and ultrasonography images. Then segmentation detects the lump in mammograms and BUS images using cascading of Fuzzy C-Means (FCM) and region-growing technique called FCMRG method and marker-controlled watershed transformation respectively. Hyrbrid features extraction technique employing local binary patterns and gray level cooccurance matrix (LBP-GLCM) along with local phase quantization (LPQ) is used for mammography to extract significant information from segmented masses. Morphological features of ultrasound breast lesion are designed to extract various statistical parameters from contour and shape properties. These features are then used to differentiate benign masses from malignant one using support vector machine (SVM), decision tree (DT), K nearest neighbors (KNN), linear discriminant analysis (LDA) and ensemble classifier. The goodness of the proposed CAD model is evaluated through performance measures on Mammographic Image Analysis Society (MIAS), Digital Database for Screening Mammography (DDSM) and Open Access Series of Breast Ultrasonic Data (OASBUD) datasets. The proposed CAD system achieved remarkable accuracy (=98.2%) with hybrid features on MIAS dataset and (=96%) with morphological features on transverse scan of OASBUD dataset. The proposed CAD system can also be implemented for the patients residing in the rural and backward areas to diagnose the scanned images of mammography and ultrasonography and to detect breast anomalies in the nonavailability of expert radiologists and weak cellular coverage. In second module, demographic risk factors of female have been employed to evaluate the risk grade (that is low, moderate, high) in a specific lady under investigation. For this purpose, Adaptive neuro fuzzy inference system (ANFIS) with sub-clustering and FCM is used and achieved high accuracy on the patient data gathered through questionnaire. The outputs of the CAD system can also be used to merge with demographic risk factors of the patients to find the future prediction of possibly occurring breast cancer risk.

فقہ اسلامی اور مروجہ ملکی قوانین کے تناظر میں عذر کی جدید طبی اور نفسیاتی صورتوں کا تجزیاتی مطالعہ

Shariah is comprised of five main branches: adab (behavior, morals and manners), ibadah (ritual worship), i’tiqadat (beliefs), mu’amalat (transactions and contracts) and ‘uqubat (punishments). These branches combine to create a society based on justice, pluralism and equity for every member of that society. Furthermore, Shariah forbids to impose it on any unwilling person. Islam’s founder, Prophet Muhammad, demonstrated that Shariah may only be applied if people willingly apply it to themselves—never through forced government implementation. Muslim jurists argued that laws such as these clearly mandated by God, are stated in an unambiguous fashion in the text of the Qur'an in order to stress that the laws are in and of themselves ethical precepts that by their nature are not subject to contingency, context, or temporal variations. It is important to note that the specific rules that are considered part of the Divine shari'a are a special class of laws that are often described as Qur'anic laws, but they constitute a fairly small and narrow part of the overall system of Islamic law. In addition, although these specific laws are described as non-contingent and immutable, the application of some of these laws may be suspended in cases of dire necessity (darura). Thus, there is an explicit recognition that even as to the most specific and objective shari'a laws, human subjectivity will have to play a role, at a minimum, in the process of determining correct enforcement and implementation of the laws.

Modeling the Relationship Between Consumer Social Responsibility and Preference for Social Friendly Products With Facilitating Role of Religiosity: A Prospective Study Using Theory of Planned Behavior

The purpose of this study was to operationalize the concept of Consumer Social Responsibility which is further empirically tested to predict consumers preference to buy societal friendly products. The study contributes in the body of knowledge by developing, validating and measuring consumer social responsibility. Moreover, it also predicts the antecedents of CNSR including ESI, Personality traits, and Cultural dimensions with moderating role of religiosity. An exploratory sequential mixed methods were used to test the proposed model of moderated mediation and sequential mediation by collecting data from 613 consumers who were aware of societal friendly concepts of products. The present study has used AMOS and NVIVO which helped in data analysis by calculating estimates, model fitness, ex ploratory factor analysis and confirmatory factor analysis. The consumer social responsibility is opertaionalized as an attitudinal aspect which is further catego rized into: community, society, environment, and customers. The results showed that CNSR is an important predictor of consumer buying behavior of societal friendly products which is influenced by ethical self-identity of consumers, their personality and culture. External religiosity is reflected as a moderator which influences the relationship of consumers ethical identity on CNSR. The opera tionalization of CNSR will help managers to devise consumer oriented strategies by inculcating the factors that determine and enhance social responsibility among consumers. Moreover, the operationalization opens new avenues for researchers to predict other demographic or psychographic factors that may influence CNSR.
