Research suggests numerous views to account for exploration of Islamiat teachers' practices and beliefs. One view states that teachers' lived experiences, which they may get from home, Madarsas or schools, shape their beliefs and practices. This research sets out to gain insight into the beliefs and practices of secondary school teachers about teaching of Islamiat. A case study of one teacher from Private Schools in Karachi, Sindh and six students (students of research participant in Class viii were selected purposefully and randomly respectively). The teacher was viewed to be knowledgeable and experienced about Islamite teaching by virtue of her profession, the school was selected to represent a private school that was influenced by one of the religious community. Data were mainly collected by means of semi-structured interviews, informal discussions and classroom observations, which utilized in-depth, open-ended questions to yield teacher's past and present experiences, current beliefs and teaching practices. The findings revealed the following: the teacher (Kiran) appeared to believe that reason is the cornerstone for teaching Islam to students. Students should be taught, on the basis of reason otherwise their minds could be manipulated. However, she was had view that it is not possible for a teacher to have full command over the subject or be fully knowledgeable of about all the questions students have. However, the teacher can sincerely work hard to know much about Islam by reading different authors, particularly the Quran, without translation, as she tells that translation is influenced by personal bias.

Judicial Khul’ and its Legal Grounds in the light of Decisions of Pakistani Courts

The doctrine of Khul’ has, within the course of last few years, assumed a great deal of importance in Pakistan because literacy rate in women is increasing rapidly and their dependency on men is decreasing. Now, women can easily make their own decisions with free consent due to their some awareness about their rights, especially regarding dissolution of marriage. Majority of women is still ignorant about dissolution of marriage on the ground of Khul’. Therefore, it is very necessary to explain all different aspects of “doctrine of Khul’” for ensuring justice in our society. The present research has mainly explored the grounds of judicial Khul’ and other relevant incidents in the light of Pakistani Case Law based on Islamic family Law. The research is based primarily on the decisions of superior courts of Pakistan. The decisions of family courts of Pakistan have been included in the discussion. The relevant provisions of the Dissolution of Muslim Marriages Act, 1939 and the Family Courts Act, 1964 have also been debated. The difference between Khul’ and other modes of dissolution of marriage have also been elaborated briefly.

The study has catered Pakistan?s Telecom sector to explore out the areas of leadership and its consequences on employees with perspective of creativity. The impact of mediating variable (Organizational trust) has also checked. Normally organizational trust is considered as positive entity, but the results extracted are not as per this perception. From total 300 usable employee survey, responses received were 210. Ten were excluded due to incomplete information. Rest 200 constituted a 67% percent response rate. Contributors including the sample were functioning in three types of jobs: R&D (49%), strategic marketing (30%), and functional professions (21%). The average age of the participants was 30.4 years. The average organizational tenure was 3.62 years. Among the 200 respondents, 139 were male; 61 were female. Reliability of extracted data was as per requirement. For Regression check, Preacher F. Hayes Test was used. For the process of results, it was proposed in hypothesis that both Transactional and transformational leaderships have positive relationship with employee creativity in presence of organizational trust. Extracted results have proved the first part that direct impact of Transactional leadership on dependent variable i-e Employee Creativity is positive. However, after tool application, results do not validates the hypothesis regarding positive output of the employee creativity with mediating variable. However, direct impact of transformational leadership on employee creativity has obtained significant and even after the inclusion of organizational trust as mediating variable the relationship has improved and showed full mediation. In results, the direct impact of transformational leadership on employee creativity is more than the explicit impact of transactional leadership on employee creativity.
