We develop five models in order to examine the impact of urbanization on economic growth. We formulate a model in which impact of urbanization on overall economic growth. Real per capita income growth RPYG , urbanization UR , Government expenditure G , capital stock KS and inflation INF are the explanatory variables. This study utilizes co-integration theory and error correcting model to make an empirical research on the relation between urbanization and GDP in Pakistan. Johansan Co-integration Test is used as econometric technique in order to estimate the model.

The result of the study shows that urbanization affects economic growth positively and significantly, the result shows a long-term balance relationship between urbanization and economic growth. Furthermore, we check the impact of urbanization on economic growth of different sectors of the economy. The results show that urbanization and GDP of agriculture sector are negatively and significantly related to each other. However there is strong positive relationship between urbanization and GDP of industrial sector, manufacture and services sectors. Overall the results indicate that urbanization is an important component of economic growth.

جنابِ صدر!
آج کا طالب علم واقعی غیر ذمہ دار ہے، اس کی ہمہ وقت الیکٹرانک میڈیا کے ساتھ نشست ، پورا وقت غیر ضروری پروگرام کی سماعت، جملہ اوقات ضرور یہ کے ضیاع میں دلچسپی، یہ تمام امور اسی بات کے غماض ہیں کہ اس دور میں علم کے طالب غیر ذمہ دار ہیں۔
جنابِ والا!
تعلیم کے حصول میں چستی ،لگن اور دلچسپی انتہائی اہمیت کی حامل ہیں ، چاک وچوبند طالب علم حصول علم میں کوئی دقیقہ فروگذاشت نہیں کرتا۔ تساہل، غفلت، سستی اور کاہلی کے چیتھڑوں میں ملبوس نونہال کسی میدان میں بھی کار ہائے نمایاں سرانجام نہیں دے سکتا اور یہی خصلت ِقبیحہ اسے غیر ذمہ دار بناتی ہے۔
صدرِ ذی وقار!
آج کا طالب علم غیر ذمہ دار کیوں ہے، اس لیے کہ اسے وقت کی قدرنہیں ہے، اپنے عظیم لمحات زیست وہ لہو د لعب میں گزار دیتا ہے۔ وقت کا ضیاع اور اس عظیم نعمت کی بے قدری اس کی فطرت ثانیہ بن چکی ہے۔ وقت کی قدرنہ کرنے والانو نہال کبھی شجر سایہ دار نہیں بن سکتا اور ایسی چیز اس کے جسم و جان سے ذمہ داری کی قوت لایموت کوختم کردیتی ہے۔

Efforts in Connection With Education in the Era of the Holy Prophet Muhammad SAW

The Prophet Muhammad (SAW) was the most effective orator of all the times. He knew how to address the hearts, and thus he became the beloved one of the hearts. He first made himself loved, and then sought the ways to educate people. He used a style in his speeches that affected people and made them think, so he achieved permanent behavior change in people by means of the best educational methods. It is fact that in the present times those nations who give priorities to knowledge are ruling over the world in one way or the other way i.e militarily or economically. A very important questions strikes the minds that what is the importance of Duniavi(world) knowledge in Islam. Objectives of this study were to investigate the importance of duniavi(world) knowledge in the light of Quran and hadith and provide a guide line to our young generation for getting knowledge. There are many hadiths that encourage education and criticizes ignorance. Being a member of the Muslim nation it is our responsibility to train and guide our young generation for better future.

Democratization of the Gulf Countries: Role of the United States During the Bush Administration 2000– 2008

This study is an effort to contribute to understanding of the ongoing process of democratization in the Gulf region. The study explores the role played by the United States and its Civil Society in the process of democratization of the Gulf Countries, namely Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates, during 2000 and 2008. Among the questions addressed in this study are (a) to what extent has the Bush Administration supported democratization in the Gulf region? (b) what role the nongovernmental American organizations have played in this regard? and (c) what is the official response of the Governments in the Gulf region to the U.S. demands for democratic change? Activities carried out by the American State and Civil Society that promote democratic values and strengthen democratic institutions have been examined. The study is an effort to examine what role the United States played to enhance democracy in the Gulf region during 2000 and 2008. Focus of the study is on areas of politics, economy, education, civil society, human rights, women empowerment, and media. Goals, objectives, approaches, strategies, and tools adopted by the U.S. State and Society have been examined in the light of the Bush Administration’s policy of democracy promotion in the Middle East. The study also takes an account of the reforms and changes that have taken place in the region during this period
