One of the most important rules of Islamic jurisprudents, which have vital significance in Islamic jurisprudence, is Istishab. ". It has been used as a solution of various social, personal and economic proЫems after the time of Holy prophet (s.a.w) and his pious Caliphs. It is practiced and counted up as a rule of Sharia after the HoIy Quran and Sunnah as a solution for most of the probems. "Istishab" means presumption of continuity or the continuance of companionship. Technically it refers to the presumption of constant of an earlier rule or continuance absence. In this sense it is used for the maintenance of a status with respect to the ru1e. The previous rule is accepted, unless a new rule is found that goes against. It is an easy orientation one may refer to "lstishab" as the "accompanying rule. But the fact is that, Istishab is neither a source of law nor it is a source for estaЫishing new rules, but it is mereIy a set of presumptions. Istishab is practiced and used as a rule till the time a new rule is estaЫished which is derived from the HoIy Quran and Sunnah as a Hukm. "Shakk" is an important part of human Iife and Istishab has solution for this problem of "Shakk" therefore Istishab is used as one of the sources of sharia after HoIy Quran, Sunnah, Ijma, Qiyas and personal activity of human life. Moreover, І tried to discuss Istishab in the light of the Ah1-e-sunnat аr1d Ah1-e-tashayyo researchers of Usol-e-Fiqah which is the need of this time for the unity of Muslim Ummah. So 1 suggest to alI researchers specially the researchers of Islamic studies to comprise the aII Muslims ideas with broad mind, so our struggles may become a source to bring Muslim Ummah closer to each other and give a message of unity, реасе and harmony. The thesis deals with its main four chapters and their sub-chapters: Frist Chapter is containing complete definition of lstishab in the light of scholars of both sects and compression between the views of them. Second Chapter contains the Arguments of scholars from both sects on the Hujiayat- e-lstishab (acceptance) in the light of HoIy Quran, Sunnah, Ijma, and AqI and contrast between them. Third chapter is containing arguments of the Munkeren-e-Istishab (one who rejects Istishab) from the scholars of both sects and contrast the views from both of them on the acceptance and rejection of Istishab. Last chapter is focusing on an overall view of Istishab from the HoIy Quran, Sunnah and Aql, some important topics of Istishab and the views of scholars on it. At the end the thesis leads to its consequence that lstishab is an accepted rule of Islamic jurisprudence in all Islamic sects in the Iight of НоІу Quran, Sunnah, Ijma and Aqal, but the lstishab is neither designated as a permanent rule nor designated a source for estaЫishing new rules. Hopefully, this kind of research can provide a base to bring peace and harmony among the various segments of the society.

Im฀m Ibn Taymiyyah is a well-known scholar of Muslims. He was an ocean of knowledge and wisdom. His books prove his excellence He was born in 661 Hijrah in Harr฀n (Syria). He learned every kind of knowledge especially religious knowledge i. E knowledge of Qur’฀n, Tafs฀r, Had฀th, Fiqh, Jurisprudence, philosophy, inheritance law, mathematics, grammar, literature, and poetry etc. He wrote hundreds of books about the above mentioned fields. He was permitted to give Fatw฀ (verdict) in his early age. He was successful in achieving the position of Ijtih฀d (authoritative interpretation of Islamic Law). Ibn Taymiyyah Studied the Profound Books of religions and sects. Then he analyzed the works in the light of senior Imams and Qur฀n and Sunnah. He is an extra ordinary person in his knowledge and writings. In brief we can say the fatw฀s of Imam Ibn Taymiyyah have printed in thirty seven volumes. His first ratiocination in Fatwa is from the Holy Qur฀n. He presents the arguments from the Hadith and Sunnah of the Holy Prophet (S. A. W). He considered Ijm฀ ‘ (consensus of Muslim opinion) as a proof of Shar฀‘ah. He presents the point of view of various schools of thought, He trusted in the books of ancient scholars. He also answers the anticipating ambiguity and complication. A few of his fatwas begin with all praise to Allah. His fatw฀s are concordant with the life of the Muslims. In this article a deep study of fatwa of Ibn Taymiyyah has been taken as a guideline for fatwa in Islamic methodology.

Numerical Analysis of Flow Charateristics of Multiple Cylinders in Different Staggered Arrangements Using Lattice Boltzmann Method

Computational fluid dynamics (CFD) has become a powerful tool for solving complex fluid flow problems in the last few decades. The relation between the flow regime transformation and its corresponding hydrodynamics forces on the staggered cylinders has not been studied at low Reynolds number (Re), both experimentally and numerically. In order to do so, numerical investigations are conducted to study the unsteady flow past square cylinders arranged in staggered configurations. Six distinct staggered geometries are constructed for which simulations are carried out by using two dimensional single relaxation time lattice Boltzmann method (SRT-LBM). The combined effect of Re and separation ratio (g*) on the flow physics and hydrodynamics forces is systematically studied. For this study, physical parameters of practical importance are chosen in the range of 20 ≤ Re ≤ 160 and 0 ≤ g* ≤ 7. The SRT-LBM was validated by comparing the unsteady flow around an isolated cylinder and two cylinders with available experimental and numerical data. Results are presented in the form of instantaneous vorticity contour visualization, time-histories of drag and lift forces, power spectra of lift signals and hydrodynamic forces. For all chosen geometries critical spacing ratio and Reynolds number are identified. It is observed that with increase in spacing ratios between the cylinders the critical Reynolds number for the onset of vortex shedding phenomena also increases. Different flow regimes are observed for different staggered geometries. Chaotic flow is one of the common flow regime. The transformation of the flow occurs due to the interaction between primary and secondary frequencies; the latter frequency strongly depends on the spacing ratio between cylinders. The effect of jet flows on the wake structure mechanism (shed vortices) behind the cylinders is studied in detail. The results show that both Re and g* have a significant effect on the hydrodynamic forces. The flow regime maps for varying Re and g* are proposed for all considered problems. All these results, most of which have been obtained for the very first time, are of fundamental significance in engineering applications.
