Organizational commitment plays a vital role in the progress of any organization. The researcher considered University of the Punjab and Gujranwala Institute of Future Technology University Gujranwala campuses as research centers and it includes how salary/financial benefits, job environment and opportunities for promotion are components of Organizational Commitment. The accumulated results may be beneficial and helpful for future planners. The sample consisted of 153 employees working in Punjab University and Gujranwala Institute of Future Technology (GIFT) University Gujranwala Campuses. Questionnaire comprises 15 questions was prepared. The researcher adopted the questionnaire. Nature of the study was descriptive. Organizational commitment has a tremendous impact on Organizational performance. According to this study, the employees of Gujranwala Institute of Future Technology University are more satisfied with Pay, recognition of their work, supervision received, Opportunity for promotion and working environment. The employees of The Punjab University Gujranwala Campus are found more satisfied as compared to employees in Gujranwala Institute of Future Technology University in relation to teaching load, job security and flexibility in working hours. From the above discussion we can say that, if we want to raise the Organizational commitment level from the employees, the organization weather Government or Private should give job security. So that he/she could not feel his/her future insecure.

اصغر سودائی(۱۹۲۶ء۔۲۰۰۷ء) سیالکوٹ کے متوسط گھرانے میں پیدا ہوئے۔آپ نے مرے کالج سیالکوٹ سے بی ۔اے کیا ۔طالب علمی کے دوران آپ’’ مرے کالج میگزین‘‘ کے نائب مدیر تھے۔ ۱۹۵۲ء میں جناح اسلامیہ کالج سیالکوٹ میں بطور لیکچرار تعینات ہوئے ۔۱۹۸۴ء میں انھیں ان کی تعلیمی خدمات کے پیشِ نظر ڈائریکٹر آف ایجوکیشن کے عہدے پر ترقی دی گئی۔ آپ کی شہرت اس لحاظ سے بھی ہے کہ آپ تحریک پاکستان کی اساس بننے والے نعرہ پاکستان ،’’پاکستان کا مطلب کیا لاالہ الا اﷲ ‘‘ کے خالق بھی ہیں۔ (۷۳۵)اصغر سودائی کا پہلا شعری مجموعہ ’’شہ دوسرا‘‘ بزم رومی و اقبال سیالکوٹ نے ۱۹۸۹ء میں طبع کیا۔ دوسرا مجموعہ کلام ’’چلن صبا کی طرح‘‘ صدیقی پبلی کیشنز لاہور نے ۱۹۹۹ء میں شائع کیا۔ آپؐ کا تیسرا شعری مجموعہ’’ کرن صدا کی طر ح ‘‘کے نام سے شائع ہو چکا ہے۔ اصغر سودائی کے نظریات ا ن کی اکہتر سالہ زندگی کا نچوڑ ہیں۔ انھوں نے مختلف تحاریک کازمانہ دیکھا اصغر نے تحریکِ پاکستان کی پرزور جدوجہد کو پروان چڑھتے اور پاکستان کو وجود میں آتے دیکھا۔ ادبی تحاریک میں انھوں نے رومانی اور ترقی پسند تحریک کا زمانہ دیکھا۔

ان کے نظریات میں اقبال کے افکار کی جھلک بھی دکھائی دیتی ہے۔ وہ بھی مغرب کی غلامی کو ملتِ اسلامیہ کے لیے باعث ِہلاکت و تباہی قرا ر دیتے ہیں۔ اصغر کے خیال میں اسلام دین فطرت ہے اور اس میں تمام مروجہ علوم کا نچوڑ موجود ہے۔ وہ اسلا م ہی کو انسانی زندگی کی بنیاد سمجھتے ہیں اور اسلام کی صداقتوں او ربین الاقوامیت کے قائل ہیں۔

Emergence of biomedical research and innovation with an unprecedented speed has created number of opportunities and challenges for policy makers. On the one hand, it is now possible to introduce tailor-made personal medication regime for an ailing patient to offer state of the art treatments. On the other hand, several ethical and legal issues have been raised due to the complex nature of emerging technologies.  Policy makers all over the world are constantly addressing these challenges by continuously upgrading their respective professional and regulatory frameworks. This article is an attempt to highlight Shariah maxims which have contemporary application in medical field. Lately, there has been a lot of interest in the debate of Shariah maxims and many scholars have used maxims-based analytical frameworks to show the dynamic application of Islamic law. This article builds upon those works by focusing on issues related to the medical field.

Impact of Fundamental Measures on Dividends: Evidence from Non-Financial Firms Listed at Pakistan Stock Exchange

This study examines the insight dynamics of factors affecting dividend payout in the context of Non-Financial firms listed at Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) in KSE-100 Index. Through observation, 66 firms were identified from 18 sectors of Non-Financial firms that have been paying the regular dividend in the past 6 years (2009-2014). In this study, a complete business cycle has been encompassed for reader?s view. Key explanatory variables were identified on the basis of prior literature (Dividend Payout, Cash Flow on Total Assets, Debt to Equity, Profitability, and Liquidity) and one which has not been studied before and considered significant is Free Cash Flow to Capital Expenditure. For econometric analysis of the data, Multivariate Regression Analysis was considered as a most appropriate tool. Descriptive statistics of data under study described its normality. In empirical analysis, Housman and BPLM tests declared random effect exist in the panel data. Moreover, data was found free from contemporaneous correlation, multicollinearity issue, and autocorrelation but the issue of heteroscedasticity has been found. Results of the study revealed that free cash flow to capital expenditure, debt to equity, net profit margin and current ratio are significantly impacting the dividend payouts. However two measures are insignificant that are cash flow to total assets and absolute liquidity ratio. These results suggest that Managers of the listed firms in Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) should aim to increase the meaningful cash flows to capital expenditure for the profitable projects that would yield high profits to firms, this will lead to high dividend and improve the investors? confidence.
