لغوی معنی
خمر ڈھانپنے کو کہتے ہیں، جیسا کہ ابن فارس نے خمر کی یوں تعریف کی ہے
الخاء والميم والراء أصلٌ واحد يدلُّ على التغطية، والمخالطةِ في سَتْر. فالخَمْرُ: الشَّراب المعروف.122
"خَمَرَ اصل ہے یہ ڈھانپنے اور خلط ملط ہونے پر دلا لت کرتا ہے اور الخمر مشہور شراب کو کہتے ہیں۔ "
خمرایسا نشہ والا انگور کا پانی جو عقل کو ڈھا نپ لے ،جیسے ابن منظور تحریر کرتے ہیں
والخَمْرُ ما أَسْكَرَ من عصير العنب لأَنها خامرت العقل والتَّخْمِيرُ التغطية يقال خَمَّرَ وجْهَهُ وخَمِّرْ إِناءك والمُخامَرَةُ المخالطة۔ 123
" خمر جو نشہ دلائے انگور کے نچڑے ہوئے پانی سے اس لیے کہ یہ عقل کو ڈھانپ لیتی ہے اور تخمیر کا معنی ہے ڈھانپنا جیسے کہا جاتا ہے اس نے اپنے چہر ے کو ڈھانپ لیا اور مخامرۃ کا معنی ہے خلط ملط ہو جانا۔ "

"خمر نشہ ہے کیونکہ وہ عقل کو ڈھانپ لیتی ہے۔ بعض لوگوں کے نزدیک ہر نشہ آور چیز پر خمر کا لفظ بولا جاتا ہے۔ "
شراب نوشی کی حرمت
نشہ آور چیزوں میں سے جو عقل و فہم اور شعور کے لئے مہلک ہیں شراب نوشی کو نمایاں مقام حاصل ہے اور دوسری نشہ آور چیزیں انہی کے حکم میں آتی ہیں زمانہ جاہلیت میں شراب پینے پلانے کا رواج عام تھا حضور ﷺ کی آمد اور نبوت سے امت اور انسانیت کی اصلاح کام شروع ہوا تو جہاں زندگی کے دوسرے گوشوں کی اصلاح کا انتظام ہوا وہاں شراب نوشی کے سلسلے میں بھی اللہ تعالیٰ نے ہدایات دیں اور شراب کے مفاسد و نقصانات اور حرمت بتلا کر لوگوں کے دلوں میں اس کی نفرت ڈال کر تدریجاً اس کے احکام نازل فرمائے۔...

تبرکات نبوی ﷺکے انہدام سے متعلق حضرت عمر فاروق کی طرف منسوب روایت کا تحقیقی جائزہ

Almighty Allah has stated the nature of man that everything He loves towards the one He loves is dear to Him. For this reason, in every age human being has been attached to the remains of his beloved thing. The stories of the former Ummah are contained in the holy Qura᾽n, in which their remnants are proven to be safe after they passed away. This last Ummah also appears to meet these natural requirements. Therefore, just as this Ummah loves his Prophet (peace be upon him). Therefore the sacred Islamic ancient relics have extraordinary significance, which are attributed to the holy Prophet. Muslims get peace by them and kept protecting and persevering such relics during every period. The companions of the Prophet (PBUP) have kept them safe too and they organized particular arrangements for preserving them. But there is also a theory which those who believe these are considered as a prohibition of Islamic Sharia, and they present their arguments on the basis of a “Hadith” attributed to Ḥaḍrat ʻUmar Fārūq (R.A). It is narrated from Ḥaḍrat ʻUmar Fārūq, that the he used to give an importance to the memorandum of Muhammad (PBUH). In the light of such “Riwāyās”, the mentioned “Hadith” would be suspicious. It is essential that he research of this “Hadith” should be reviewed, how its status is? In this article, research has been studied by this “Hadith” that it is clear that this “Hadith” could not be narrated by Ḥaḍrat ʻUmar Fārūq (R.A). Therefore, the concept of demolition of such scared ancient relics could not be supported by the above mentioned “Hadith”.

Knowledge Mangeme Nt As a Tool for Educational Leadership in Pakistan

This thesis presents those factors that are found to mainly affect the satisfaction and stress levels of engineering students in Pakistan. Students form different public and private sector engineering universities of Punjab are selected for this purpose. Data is randomly collected with the help of two surveyors. Reliability of the two surveyors is confirmed with the help of Measurement System Analysis. Questionnaires are based on students’ expectations from their respective institutions. Randomly collected data is analyzed on software MINITAB 14. Six sigma techniques of Measurement System Analysis, Affinity diagram, Pareto analysis, SIPOC (Supplier Input Process Output Customer) analysis, Cause and Effect Matrix, Scatter plots and Person correlation co- efficient are used for reaching the most significant factors. Results indicate that teaching skills of teachers are found to mainly affect the satisfaction level of engineering students. On further probe, it is observed that communication and interactive skills are the most vital teaching skills that influence the student satisfaction. Further elaborating the communication skills, it is revealed that interactive behavior of teachers and their clear concepts deeply affect the satisfaction level of students. Similarly, careless marking by the teachers are found to produce maximum stresses among the male engineering students, while, on the other hand, teachers’ discouraging attitude to take girls on industrial trips and their lack of conducting class tests are responsible for developing stresses among female engineering students. Moreover, poor command of English language as well as lack of personal confidence are some of the factors that are found to create maximum stresses in the students belonging remote and backward areas of Pakistan. Improvement strategies are then developed to enhance the communication and interaction skills of teachers. Significant increase in the satisfaction level of the students is observed after the implementation of the strategies. Identification of these factors can guide the educational leadership of these institutions to precisely focus their resources in the above mentioned factors for the best satisfaction of their students, as it will certainly improve the transfer and creation of knowledge among these students.
