محمد اقبال منہاس(۱۹۴۱ء۔۱۹۹۰ء) نام اور اقبالؔ تخلص کرتے تھے۔ آپ کے آباؤ اجداد کا تعلق پسرور سے تھا۔ آپ کے والد ملازمت کے سلسلے میں عراق میں مقیم تھے۔ جہاں اقبال منہاس پیدا ہوئے۔ آپ نے انٹر سے ایم ۔انگلش تک تعلیم گورنمنٹ مرے کالج سیالکوٹ سے حاصل کی۔ انھوں نے انگریزی ادب میں ڈاکٹریٹ کی ڈگری بھی حاصل کی ۔آپ دوران طالب علمی’’ مرے کالج میگزین ‘‘کے حصہ اردو کے مدیر بھی رہے۔ اور اسی کالج میں بحیثیت استاد بھی کام کیا۔ (۹۶۵) منہاس کے علمی و ادبی ،تحقیقی و تنقیدی مضامین اور غزلیں ’’شمع‘‘ ،دہلی ،’’سیپ‘‘، ’’فنون‘‘ ،’’اوراق‘‘،’’افکار‘‘ اور ’’رابطہ‘‘ میں شائع ہو چکی ہیں۔ آپ کا ایک شعری مجموعہ ’’آبِ گریزاں‘‘ شائع ہو چکا ہے جسے معروف شاعر طاہر نظامی نے مرتب کیا ہے۔ ’’آب گریزاں‘‘ میں نظمیں ،غزلیں ،قطعات اور رباعیات شامل ہیں۔
اقبال منہاس کی شاعری کے لہجے میں نیا پن پایا جاتا ہے۔ ان کے ہاں موضوعات کی جدت، جدید حسیات اور نئی لفظیات ملتی ہیں:
وہ لوگ پھول سے کومل وجود رکھتے ہیں
وہ جن کے دامن رنگین میں خار ہوتے ہیں
شمع جلے نہ کوئی پھول ہی کھلے جن پر

Increasing the creative economy during the pandemic is very urgent, as an effort to stabilize the economy in ASEAN. The character of the creative economy is characterized by economic activities that are based on the exploration and exploitation of creative ideas that have high selling value. All tourism ministers from ASEAN countries to strengthen tourism cooperation, one of the economic sectors hardest hit in the pandemic. Intelligent marketing is needed in order to know the strengths of our competitors and market tastes, because in the era of globalization, war is actually a war in the economic field and the creative economy is the main weapon. Strong cooperation in efforts to jointly handle the impact of COVID-19 in the tourism sector in the ASEAN region. All ASEAN members to jointly enhance cooperation not only in dealing with pandemic problems but also in terms of developing the creative economy.
A Study of Inter-Relationship Among Teaching Strategies, Learning Styles and Students Academic Achievement at Secondary School Level. The purpose of this study was to investigate inter-relationship among teaching strategies, learning styles and
student’s academic achievements at secondary level. Study was co relational and descriptive in nature. Three
teaching methods i.e. lecture teaching method, problem solving teaching method and discussion teaching
methods were took into account.
It was aimed to find out relationship between teaching strategies and learning styles and to investigate
relationship between teaching strategies and student academic achievement at secondary level. VAK learning
style model was used. Independent t-test, sample t-test and ANOVA were applied to analyze data. All teachers
and students from public and private schools in district Karak, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa were selected as
population of the study. 100 teachers and 400 students were selected as sample of the study from 10 public
sector and 10 private sector schools. Research indicated that 70% teachers favored lecture method as the
most frequently used method. Discussion method was the most effective teaching method at secondary school
level. Auditory learning style was the most preferred learning style of students at secondary school level.
This study declared that there was significant relationship between different teaching strategies and students
academic achievements. Research also showed significant relationship between different learning styles and
students academic achievements. Teachers of public sector and private sectors schools have same opinions
about most common method. However there is significant difference between public sector schools teacher
and private sector schools regarding most effective method. Teachers of public sector schools considered
discussion teaching strategy as most effective while private sector school teachers considered problem
solving teaching strategy as most effective.
It was found that student who gave more time to study at home achieved better result than other student. It
was also concluded that teaching strategies and learning styles have insignificant relationship because there
was mismatch of teaching styles and learning styles of students.
