 نظریاتی حوالے سے دنیائے ادب سید احتشام حسین کو ایک ترقی پسند ادیب کے طور پر جانتی ہے۔ آپ کی ادبی شخصیت کی کئی جہتیں ہیں، آپ نے افسانہ ، مضمون ،تاریخ ، تنقید ، ڈرامااور سفرنامہ لکھا۔ زیرِ نظر ان کی کتاب‘‘ اردو ادب کی تنقیدی تاریخ’’ ہے۔ کتاب کے نام سے تو یہی معلوم ہوتا ہے کہ یہ اردو ادب کی تنقید کی تاریخ ہے جبکہ یہ اردو ادب کی تاریخ کی کتاب ہے ، تنقیدی تاریخ تو صرف نام ہے، تاریخ بھی ایسی جو نامکمل، تحقیق سے دور کا واسطہ نہیں۔

 یہ کتاب کئی بار اشاعت کے عمل سے گزر چکی ہے۔ ۱۹۸۳ء میں اس کتاب کی پہلی اشاعت ہوئی جبکہ زیرِ نظر اشاعت دسویں ہے جو انڈیا ( نئی دہلی) کے ادارے قومی کونسل برائے فروغِ اردو زبان سے ۲۰۱۶ ء میں شائع ہوئی۔ اس اشاعت کے ۳۴۱ صفحات ہیں۔ کتاب کا پیش لفظ ڈائریکٹر قومی کونسل برائے فروغِ اردو زبان پروفیسر سید علی کریم نے لکھا۔ مذکورہ کتاب ۱۴، ابواب پر مشتمل ہے جو ترتیب وار درج کیے جاتے ہیں۔

صحیح البخاری کی کتب اور ابواب میں نظم و مناسبت تحقیقی جائزہ

In sahih Bukhari the reform’s of Imam Bukhari are present in various styles and artistically sahih Bukhari is an eximious book. But in this present confab we want to disuses such a topic which is about the colligation of sahih Bukhari’s parts and order. The intellectual advisability and  sequences called the order of the parlance, and some time many points are practical and various expediencies recondite in this order. With identity the object of the speaker is explicated e.g, he started the book with incipiency and it is brought first because the inspiration the provenance of admonition. He arranges “kitab-ul-Emam” of on the second because to have belief on Allah as “Rab” is the most preeminent and also the prerequisite. In the first Hdith انما الاعمال بالنيات is in the same order and we understand that candidness is not only enough in the outset but it should be obsessive on both the commencement and the verge. The advisability we understood is the deserts starts form intentness and suppress on the left. Imam Bukhari to words both radicals in the inception and completion of the book.

The Relationship Between Emotional Intelligence and Performance of Secondary School Teachers

This research is an attempt to find out relationship between emotional intelligence and performance of teacher at secondary school level. In present era it is believed in general that high academic score in exams are not only determined by higher level of intelligence rather because of higher emotional intelligence. A number of important aspects of interpersonal and intrapersonal relationship are incorporated by emotional intelligence factors. These aspects have a deep statistical significant relation with performance of teachers. The major aim of the study was to find out the relationship between emotional intelligence and performance of teacher at secondary school level. The target population of the study comprised of secondary school teachers teaching secondary classes in Public high and higher secondary schools of Lahore division. Sample of the study consisted of 950 male and female secondary school teachers working in rural and urban areas high schools. As the study was co relational in nature and to find out the relationship, the data was collected through survey technique. The instrument for data collection named TEIQue-SF was adopted to measure the emotional intelligence level of secondary school teachers. The performance of teachers was measured through the results of students in annual examination of 9th and 10th class conducted by Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Lahore (BISE). Before data collection validity and reliability of the questionnaire were ensured through experts’ opinion and pilot study respectively. The reliability of the questionnaire after translation was (0.60). The collected data was analyzed using computer software SPSS, version 15. Pearson “r”, t-test, and ANOVA, were used. The study revealed that statistically significant positive relationship existed between emotional intelligence and performance of the secondary school teachers. It was concluded that increase in the level of emotional intelligence enhances the performance of teachers.
