تقریظ ِ دوئم
زیرِ نظر کتاب’’نسیم سخن‘‘ نظروں سے گزری ۔یہ ایک مجموعہ تقریر ہے اور خدمتِ خلق کے جذبہ کے تحت اس کو مدون کیا گیا ہے۔ اس میں طلبا و طالبات کی ضروریات کو خصوصی طور پر پیشِ نظر رکھا گیا ہے۔ طلبا کے لیے ترغیبی انداز اختیار کیا گیا ہے۔ تقاریر میں اختصار اور جامعیت کو ملحوظِ خاطر رکھا گیا ہے۔ گزشتہ ادوار میں مقابلہ جات میں متعدد مرتبہ پوزیشنیں حاصل کرنے والا حافظ محمد اکرم راشدؔ کا یہ مجموعہ تقاریر ’’نسیم سخن‘‘ آئندہ بھی ضرور کفایت کرے گا۔ اس میں موجود مواد تشنگانِ علم کی پیاس بجھانے میں ممد و معاون ثابت ہو گا۔ ایک جگہ پر اتنی تقاریر کا مل جانا ناممکن نہیں تو محال ضرور ہے۔
حافظ محمد اکرم راشدؔ سے میرا دیرینہ تعلق ہے۔ یہ ایک علم دوست انسان ہیں۔ خاندانی شرافت اور علم کی بہاریں انھیں ورثے میں ملی ہیں۔ان کی طبع میں حلم و بردباری ہے۔ اپنی تمام تر خصوصیات کو عوام الناس میں بالعموم اور طلبا میں بالخصوص منتقل کرنے کا جذبہ رکھتے ہیں۔ یہ دینی علوم کا حظِ وافر رکھنے کے ساتھ ساتھ ایم۔اے، ایم۔ایڈ بھی ہیں اور ایم۔اے عربی میں گولڈ میڈلسٹ بھی ہیں۔آپ ایک گورنمنٹ ہائی سکول سے بطور رئیس مدرسہ ریٹائر ہوئے ہیں۔ فی الوقت جامع مسجد این۔ بلاک عارف والا میں بطور خطیب فرائض سر انجام دے رہے ہیں۔ عارف والا اوراس کے مضافات میں بطور خوش نویس بھی ان کی شناخت ہے۔قبل از ایں ’’نگارشاتِ راشد‘‘ کے نام سے مختلف مضامین و مقالات پر مشتمل ان کی کتاب زیورِ طباعت سے آراستہ ہو کر منظرِ عام پر آچکی ہے۔اللہ تعالیٰ ان کی اس کد وکاوش کو قبول فرمائے۔

In "Fath-ur-Rehman Fi Ithbāt-e-Madhab al-Naumān", Shaykh Abdul Haq Muhaddith Dehalvi collected Ahadith supporting the religion and sect of Imam Abu Hanifa (R.A) and described the differences of the jurists and gave preference to Hanafi School of thought. He has proved through this book that Imam’s sect is in accordance with the Sahih Ahadith and while removing the accusations leveled against Imam Abu Hanifa, he declared that these are the issues on which the contrariness of the hadith was accused but irony of the situation is that Abu Hanifa (R.A) is following the hadith while other jurists explicitly base their intellect and conjecture and the style of the book shows that Abu Hanifa (R.A) is the absolute doer of hadith and Imam Shafi (R.A) uses conjecture and opinion. Moreover, Author speaks on the authenticity of the hadiths which not only support him but also give comfort and consolation to the opposing party. This great book of Hazrat Shaykh Muhaddith (R.A) is unique and unique in its importance, infrequency, style of reasoning, research issues, preference of religion, and hadiths supporting Hazrat Imam Azam Abu Hanifa (R.A) which opens new chapters of coming research. In the said article, an analytical study of his book "Fath-ur-Rehman fi Asbat-e-Madhhab-e-Noman" will be presented which will expose the reality of Imam Abu Hanifa's accusation of being against the hadith and this great effort of Sheikh Abdul Haq will also be brought to light.

Breeding Tomato for Fruit Production With Urban Sewage Water

Wastewater is often used for irrigation, especially in farming near urban areas, causing heavy metal accumulation and pathogenic infection in soils and crops grown there. A socio- economic survey conducted in a peri-urban area in Faisalabad called “Uchkara” revealed that in spite of being aware of the potential harmful effects of waste water, farmers preferred to use it due to its low cost and lack of alternatives. Comparison of irrigation water from different sources showed that in wastewater the concentrations of Cr, Mn, Zn, Ni, and Pb were many folds higher than their recommended safe limit, rendering affected water sources unfit for use in irrigation. Crops irrigated with this waste water also had very high concentrations of heavy metals. Higher concentrations were found in leafy vegetables than in other crops. Screening was carried out to identify high yielding and heavy metal tolerant tomato genotypes when irrigated with waste water. Diverse tolerance to heavy metals and yield- related traits were observed among tomato accessions. Higher concentrations of metals were found in vegetative parts than in fruits. The concentrations of Cr (0.35-50 ug/g), Mn (3.75- 16.25 ug/g), Ni (0.75-3.25 ug/g), Pb (0-3.75 ug/g) and Zn (13.74-69.5 ug/g) varied in fruit tissues of different tomato accessions. The tomato accessions PB-017906 and 10592 had better fruit yield and appeared relatively tolerant to heavy metals accumulation. With maternal effects and additive type of gene action was involved in the inheritance of number of flowers and number of fruits, while a dominance type of gene action was involved in the inheritance of heavy metals tolerance. Transcriptome analysis of heavy metal tolerance genes i.e., HSP and M. Thio showed that tomatoes respond to high concentrations of heavy metals through increased transcription of the HSP and M. Thio genes. It was observed under Pb and Cr stress that HSP and M. Thio protein transcripts accumulated to levels many times higher than in the in roots and leaves of control plants, reducing protein damage from heavy metals and sustaining cellular homeostasis. PCR-based diagnostics showed that the waste water had S. enterica bacterium. In contrast, tomato fruits were free of S. enterica contamination in 14 out of 16 (87.5%) tomato accessions, showing that most of the time S. enterica was physiologically blocked from gaining access to the tomato fruit. Although waste water application is the need of time the resulting information from this research will be helpful in the development of low metal-accumulators as well as S. enterica tolerant tomato genotypes suitable for heavy metals and bacterial problems by the use of wastewater.
