Chapter 2: Qur’ānic Services of Dr. Isrār Aḥmad

Introduction of Anjuman Khuddām Al-Qur’ān

Anjuman Khuddām al-Qur’ān was established by Dr. Isrār Aḥmad in March 1972A. D. It was registered in November 1972A. D and Dr. Isrār Aḥmad was declared as lifetime president.[1]

The Memorandum of the Anjuman has the following contents:

Naḥmaduhū wa Nuṣallī ‘alā Rasūlehil karīm

Bismillāh al- Raḥmān al-Raḥīm

It is strongly felt that the dream of the renaissance of Islām and the second tenure for supremacy of righteous Dīn cannot be fulfilled without initiating a general movement to invoke faith in Muslim Ummah. To achieve this, it is mandatory that the source of faith and belief, i. e, the doctrine of intellect and wisdom by the Qur’ān should be publicized on a wide scale. Since we are in harmony with the thoughts of Dr. Isrār Aḥmad by overviewing his matchless task performed by him for the last four and half years, we, the few servants of The Divine Book hereby decide to set up “Central Anjuman Khuddām al-Qur’ān” which under the guidance of Dr. Isrār Aḥmad will keep striving the following objectives:

1.         Learning and customization of the Arabic Language.

2.         General persuasion and an invitation to study the Qur’ān.

3.         Transmitting and publishing the Qur’ānic disciplines.

4.         Adequate grooming and training of the youth who can make teaching and learning of the Qur’ān the life-mission, and

5.         Setting up of aQur’ān Academy which may present across philosophy and wisdom of the Qur’ān at the highest academic level.

May Allāh enable us to achieve these objectives by putting in maximum effort and sacrifice! (Āmīn)

Role of Male Teachers in Islamic-Ethics Based Sociability Skills Promotion Among Learners in Government Primary Schools of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

For the citizen of Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Islam is the Ideology of Pakistan. Allah Almighty’s orders are supreme for us, who has created human being as the best creature, our ideal is the Holy Prophet Muhammad Peace Be Upon Him whose ethico-moral standards are the best. The research’s main objective is to analyze “role of Teachers in Islamic Ethics Based Sociability Skills Promotion among Learners in the study region”. Now a days the Social workers, Social Scientists and Religious Scholars have a special focus over the individuals’ ethical and sociability skills promotion because these values are having core importance in the societal functioning of the individuals in the Islamic communities globally. The data was collected through interview method. In this study a sample size of 114 respondents was selected comprising of the male & female learners in the District Karak. The research results show that majority of teachers were guiding the learners about ethical values, social relations, sociability skills, effective communication and to have good behavior etc. Based on Islamic ethics.

Growth and Characterization of Nano Structured Composite Carbon Films

The structural and surface morphology of metal-incorporated diamond like carbon films have been investigated. These films were deposited on Si (111) substrates using Pulsed Laser Deposition (PLD) technique. A KrF Excimer laser (λ= 248 nm) was used for co- ablation from multi component Ni-graphite and Ag-graphite targets. The carbon composite films were prepared without and with external magnetic field applied transverse to the plume. The structural analysis was performed using X-ray Differactrometer (XRD) and Raman spectroscopy. Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) and Atomic Force Microscope (AFM) analyses were performed to explore the surface morphology, texture and roughness of films. The application of external magnetic field has significantly improved the film quality. Films prepared in the presence of external magnetic field have comparatively larger crystallite size of Ni as well as of Ag. Another important aspect of application of external field is the enhancement in the graphitization and shifting of G-band towards higher wave number. The nucleation and growth process of carbon films are strongly dependent on the size and energies of the ablated species. The I D /I G ratios for the films prepared under external magnetic field indicate that the chain length and the six-fold aromatic rings of carbon clusters have developed substantially in that film matrix and thus graphitization is enhanced. The metal intercalated atoms support to the formation of carbon ring clusters by taking the π-electron which reduces the excited state of molecule. The surface morphological investigations reveal that surface texture and organized growth of the particles varies with concentration as well as with the applied field. The roughness has also been influenced by the application of magnetic field as well as by the Ni and Ag dopants in the prepared composite films. The purpose of developing such kind of films is to enhance the conventional properties of the films and to achieve some exceptional results which are not possible in ordinary films. These films have a vast variety of applications in photo-voltaic, bio-medical, tribological and semiconductor industry.
