۳۱؍ جولائی ۱۹۸۳ء کو ممبئی میں معین الدین حارث کا انتقال ہوگیا۔ ان کا ماتم سیاسی، تعلیمی اور سماجی حلقوں میں منایا گیا۔ دلی میں جامعہ ملیہ اسلامیہ کی درسگاہیں بند ہوگئیں۔ شریف آف ممبئی نے شہریوں کی جانب سے تعزیتی جلسہ طلب کیا۔ سابق وزیر اعظم مرارجی ڈیسائی، اشوک مہتا، ایس۔پی۔گودریج، پروفیسر مدھو ڈنڈوتے، میر آف ممبئی اور دوسرے مقررین نے خارج عقیدت پیش کیا۔ ممبئی میونسپل کارپوریشن اورکئی دوسرے اداروں نے تعزیتی قرارداد منظور کر کے اپنے اجلاس ملتوی کردیئے۔ جہاں تک انجمن اسلام کا تعلق ہے (جس کے حارث صاحب کئی سال سے صدر ہوتے چلے آرہے تھے) اس پر تو گویا یتیمی چھاگئی۔ یہ سب کچھ ایک ایسے آدمی کے لیے ہوا۔ جس نے زندگی بھر دوسروں کو دیا۔ خود کچھ نہیں لیا۔
معین الدین حارث ممبئی کے مضافاتی علاقہ نالا سُپارہ کے رہنے والے تھے، جہاں کوکنی مسلمانوں کی اچھی خاصی آبادی ہے۔ پچپن سے سیاسی تحریک سے دلچسپی رہی سرکاری اسکول کی تعلیم ترک کرکے قوم کی طرف سے کھولے گئے اسکول میں داخل ہوئے اور جب جامعہ ملیہ اسلامیہ قائم ہوئی تو وہاں چلے گئے اور ۱۹۲۷ء میں بی، اے کیا۔ خوش قسمتی سے انھیں مولانا محمد علی جوہر، ڈاکٹر ذاکر حسین، پروفیسر محمد مجیب، ڈاکٹر سید عابد حسین، مولانا، اسلم جبراجپوری، مولانا سواتی، خواجہ عبدالحئی فاروقی اور کیلاٹ صاحب جیسے مخلص، بلند کردار اور علم و فضل کے درخشندہ ستارے استاد ملے، جن کی تعلیم اور اعلیٰ اخلاق کا رنگ ان پر ایسا چڑھا کہ تادم حیات قائم رہا۔
بی۔ اے کرلینے کے بعد حارث صاحب نے ممبئی میں اجمل پریس قائم کیا اور روزنامہ اجمل جاری کیا جو سالہا سال ان کی ادارت میں چلتا رہا۔

The Muslims of today are overwhelmed and subjugated all over the world due to the bad intensions of colonizers. They are now called the oppressed people in the world. Especially the Muslims of Palestine are the main target of these colonialists, as Palestine is the controversial issue between the Muslims, Christians and Jews. It is the holy and sacred place for all of them. The Jews consider this place as their birthright and also due to their political and social self-interests they always tried to get their hold there by the oppression of Palestinian Muslims. The illegal Israeli (jews) state in Jerusalem is constantly oppressing the Muslims of Palestine. Due to this oppression these Palestinian Muslims are also called the oppressed people in the world. Today this problem of oppression in Palestine is more surpassing. Israeli (jews) people are persistently killing and forcing the muslims to leave this country. Palestinians are now immigrants and seekinf refuge from different countries but unhappily they are also in trouble and in pathetic condition. They are just helpless and even deprived of their basic rights. Keeping in view this scenario, in this article a brief review is given about the history and the present situation of oppression on Palestinian Muslims
In the present thesis we investigate the almost Hermitian geometry of the twistor spaces of oriented Riemannian 4-manifolds. Holomorphic and orthogonal bisectional curvatures have been intensively explored on K ̈hler manifolds and a lot of important results have been obtained in this case. a But in the non-K ̈hler case these curvatures are not very well studied and it seems a that the main reason for that is the lack of interesting examples. The first part of the thesis is devoted to the study of the curvature properties of Atiyah-Hitchin- Singer and Eells-Salamon almost Hermitian structures. This is used to provide some interesting examples of almost Hermitian 6-manifolds of constant or strictly positive holomorphic, Hermitian and orthogonal bisectional curvatures. In the second part of the thesis we determine the Gray-Hervella classes of the so-called compatible almost Hermitian structures on the twistor spaces, recently in- troduced by G. Deschamps . The interest in determining these classes is motivated by the fact that the Gray-Hervella classification is a very useful tool in studying almost complex manifolds. Our results in this direction generalize the well known integrabil- ity theorems by Atiyah-Hitchin-Singer, Eells-Salamon and Deschamps and show that there is a close relation between the properties of the spectrum of the anti-self-dual Weyl tensor of an almost K ̈hler 4-manifold and the almost Hermitian geometry of a its twistor space.
