کچھ لوگ دیکھی ہوئی دنیا کو بھی ٹھیک سے دیکھ نہیں پاتے کہ وہ نگاہوں میں آتی تو ہے مگر پتلیوں سے نکل جاتی ہے۔ مگر کچھ لوگ ایسے بھی ہوتے ہیں کہ دنیا کو خود تو جی بھر کر دیکھتے ہی ہیں، اپنی دیکھی ہوئی اس دنیا کو دوسروں کی آنکھوں میں بھی منتقل کر دینا چاہتے ہیں۔ ان کی اس چاہ کے پیچھے منشا یہ ہوتا ہے کہ وہ دنیا کے رنگ و آہنگ کو ان دیدوں تک بھی پہنچا دیں جن کی نگاہیں پپوٹوں کے اندر بند رہتی ہیں اور پلکوں کی چلمنوں سے کبھی باہر نہیں نکل پاتیں۔ وہ چاہتے ہیں کہ ان کی طرح دوسرے بھی دیکھیں کہ دنیا کتنی حسین ہے۔ اس کی فضائوں میں کیسی رنگینی ہے۔ اس کی ہوائوں میں کس قدر سنگینی ہے۔ اس کی ادائوں میں کیسی دل نشینی ہے۔ وہ بھی یہ منظر دیکھیں کہ جب جہاز کے جھروکوں سے جھانکتے ہیں تو منظر کیسے بدل جاتے ہیں، کیا کیا کس روپ میں ڈھل جاتے ہیں، دیکھیں کہ لمبی چوڑی عمارتیں ماچس کی ڈبیا بن جاتی ہیں، چوڑی چوڑی سڑکیں یہاں تک کہ شاہراہیں بھی سکڑ کر پگڈنڈیوں کا روپ دھار لیتی ہیں۔ اونچے اونچے پیڑ گل بوٹے دکھائی دینے لگتے ہیں،پہاڑ ، دریا، گائوں، شہر سب سفید روئی کے گالوں میں چھپ جاتے ہیں۔ آسمان قریب آجاتا ہے۔ زمین دور ہو جاتی ہے۔ سجی سنہری پھول کی مانند کھلی کھلی سی رنگین تتلیاں ٹرالیوں میں پانی کی ننھی منی پیاری پیاری سی بوتلیں اور رنگ برنگی ٹافیاں لے کر چلتی ہیںتو مسافروں کی آنکھوں میں پیار اُمڈ آتا ہے اور بنا پیاس کے بھی ہونٹ پھڑپھڑااُٹھتے ہیں۔
Abu Al-Rab ‘ Sulaymn Bin Msá Al-Kal‘ (565 A. H -- 634 A. H) is a great Srah writer. In this article, his scholarly and personal characteristics, the list of his works, tributes from scholars to his services and scholarly rank of Al-Kal‘ are presented. After presenting his personal features, an introduction and research analysis of his book “AlIktif’ fi Maghz Al-Mutafá wa Al-thalthah Al-Khulaf ’ ” is given. Al-Kal‘ was a great scholar and authentic Srah writer. He got knowledge of Hadth from Abul ‘At’. He attended the lectures of various scholars of Hadth such as Abul Qsim bin Al-Jaysh, Abu Bakr bin Jadd, Abu Abdullh bin Zarkn, Abdullh bin Fakhkhr, Abu Muhammad bin Jamhr, Najbah bin Yahy. Many great scholars of Hadth such as Q Tnas were his pupils and brought his knowledge to far off countries. Al-Kal‘ wrote many books on Hadth and Srah. Ibn Farhn, Abul Abbs and many other scholars have praised and paid tribute to Al-Kal‘ in their works. Main objective of the book under discussion, Al-Iktif’, is to disseminate knowledge of Srah and Hadth prolifically. Al-Kal‘ has kept in mind the caution and the principles of Srah writing derived from the Holy Qur’n. Sulaymn Bin Msá has a great quality of writing Srah books. He can be called a born scholar and a writer. His quest for knowledge took him in different cities and he gained the best of knowledge and intellect that can be seen in all of his writings. He can be called a preserver and a protector of Srah literature. He is considered the most honored and dignified person among the scientific and cultural tradition of Andalusiyah. This article proves his abilities, qualities and excellence of work.
Although Pakistan had experienced two Martial Laws before, but the Zia regime was the most crucial in the history of Pakistan where political cleansing was occurred officially with the help of Pakistan Army. Besides Pakistan Peoples Party, policies of General Zia-ul-Haq showed that he was against all the democratic force of Pakistan. And, his such attitude became the reason of starting a Movement for Restoration of Democracy. Although, the rightist political parties were supporting Zia’s policy of Islamization, referendum of 1984 and non-party based elections of 1985, but the popularity of MRD grew up day by day. Junaijo’s demand of getting democratic powers was due to the pressure building by the MRD whose basic objective was to restore parliamentary system in original shape as described in the Constitution of 1973. The results of 1988 election showed that, this movement was against the dictatorial politics of Zia-ul-Haq. This study highlights the role of Pakistan Peoples Party in the politics of Pakistan since its emergence. It covers the issues such as Zulfaqar Ali Bhutto as Foreign Minister during Ayub regime, Chairman of Pakistan Peoples Party, Civilian Martial Law Administrator and President of Pakistan, and Prime Minister of Pakistan. Similarly, this study focuses upon the political environment which was designed after the military coup of General Zia-ul-Haq, where workers and leaders of Pakistan Peoples Party were suffered a lot. After the hanging of Bhutto and implementation of Zia’s policies of Islamization, Movement for the Restoration of Democracy started which is the case study of this research. The consequences of this movement on Zia’s referendum of 1984, non-party based elections of 1985 and Zia-Junaijo differences are also observed here. Keeping in view the organization of the study the thesis deals with the introduction consisted of the statement of the problems, justification and objectives of the study, hypothesis, research questions and organization of the study. It is divided into six chapters. Chapter one focuses upon the role of political parties in Pakistan during different regimes since 1947-77. Chapter two highlights emergence and rise of Pakistan Peoples Party since 1967 and presented different policies and reforms under the leadership of Zulfaqar Ali Bhutto. Chapter three defines imposition of MRD as revolutionary Movement. Participation of other political parties, Benazeer’s hardships, Election of 1985 and its effects on the history of Pakistan. Chapter four tries to evaluate the major steps of Zia-ul-Haq and consequences of controlled democracy. Chapter five deals with the ending of Martial Law and the beginning of controlled democracy. Chapter six is based on conclusion, findings and recommendations.
