پنڈت تربھون ناتھ زارؔزتشی
اُردو زبان کے علمی اورادبی حلقوں میں اس خبرکو بڑی حسرت اورافسوس کے ساتھ سناگیا کہ پچھلے دنوں پنڈت تربھون ناتھ زارؔ زتشی نے ۹۲ بر س کی عمرمیں دلّی میں انتقال کیا۔ پنڈت جی کشمیری پنڈت تھے،ان کا خاندان اورنگ زیب عالمگیر کے عہدِ حکومت میں دلّی میں منتقل ہوگیاتھا۔اس بناء پریہ خاندان کشمیر اور دلّی دونوں کی خاص تہذیب اور کلچر، شرافت،علمی وادبی ذوق، حسن وجمال اور وسعتِ مشرب ایسے اوصاف وخصوصیات کاحامل ہے، پنڈت جی ان خصوصیات کا ایک اعلیٰ نمونہ ہونے کے باعث ان سب میں ممتاز تھے۔ سنسکرت کے علاوہ فارسی اوراُردو کے بھی نامور فاضل اورمحقق تھے۔شعروشاعری میں مرزا داغؔ سے تلمذِ خصوصی رکھتے تھے۔بلکہ غالباً وہ استادکی آخری یادگار تھے،دلّی زبان اوراُس کی کہاوتوں اورمحاورات پرانہیں جوعبور تھااُس میں وہ اپنی مثال آپ تھے۔اس سلسلہ میں یہ واقعہ دل چسپی سے سنا جائے گا کہ ۱۹۳۹ء میں جب پہلے پہل میرا تقرر سینٹ اسٹیفنس کالج دلی میں بحیثیت استاد کے ہوا اوردوسری کلاسوں کے ساتھ بی۔اے (فائنل) کی اُردو کلاس بھی مجھے پڑھانے کے لیے دی گئی توایک دن مولوی نذیر احمدصاحب دہلوی کی مشہور کتاب ’توبۃ النصوح‘ کلاس میں پڑھا رہا تھا کہ اچانک ’’سفوپہ نادری چڑھی‘‘ کا فقرہ سامنے آگیا۔اورچوں کہ مجھے اس کامطلب معلوم نہیں تھا اس لیے میں نے کلاس ختم کردی اور میں سیدھا اپنے استاد شمس العلماء مولوی عبدالرحمن صاحب کے مکان پر پہنچا اور ان سے اس فقرہ کامطلب دریافت کیا۔مولوی صاحب نے بہت کوشش کی، دماغ پربہت زورڈالا مگر بات نہ بنی ۔اتنے میں مولوی صاحب کے جگری دوست خواجہ عبدالمجید دہلوی جو دلّی کی ٹکسالی زبان اورمحاورات کے بڑے اور مسلّم ماہرتھے ادھرآنکلے، مولوی صاحب نے ان سے پوچھا لیکن حافظہ اوردماغ پربہت کچھ زورڈالنے کے باوجود انہیں بھی کامیابی نہیں ہوئی۔ آخر خواجہ صاحب نے پنڈت...
Foreign policy is one of the wheels with which process of international politics operates. It is not separate from the national policy. It is an important tool to relate the relations to other countries. Foreign policies consist of aims and measures that are intended to guide government decisions and actions with regard to external affairs, particularly relations with foreign countries. Friendly, non-threatening and peace-loving attitude seems to be the hallmarks of most states. Yet on the other hand, there could be some countries that act as hostile and aggressive and there is hardly any world force that can constrain them. A basic and age-old problem of state systems arises from here: national security. Many states deploy armed forces to deal this particular problem. Usually, states coexist and deal with each other without breaking the internal hegemony. So the main issues of mankind are war and peace. A great emphasis has been put in Islam in the field of international relations. Islam developed a different structure and gave a distinct understanding of international relations. Islam offers a complete handbook on international relations through his teachings. Peace works as root in the relation of countries. Securing the world peace and settling disputes and anarchy are the core aims of Islamic teaching.
Varicocele is known to be associated with infertility and sperm disorders. The exact mechanism behind these mal effects is yet not clear, especially the relationship of testicular blood flow and semen quality parameters. Objective of the study was to evaluate testicular blood flow pattern and spermatic cord microanatomy of infertile individuals with varicocele and to find their correlation/association with semen quality. Sixty consecutive patients between 20–45 years age, diagnosed with infertility and varicocele, undergoing microsurgical varicocelectomy at Fatima Memorial Hospital Lahore, were included in the study. Semen quality parameters and scrotal color Doppler ultrasonography (CDUS) were recorded preoperatively. During surgery, microanatomy of the spermatic cord was observed. The outcomes of semen analysis were sperm count, motility and morphology. The testicular blood flow was determined as peak systolic velocity (PSV) and resistive index (RI) of sub capsular artery and intra parenchymal artery of the testes by scrotal CDUS. During microsurgery, anatomy of varicocele veins, testicular artery, arterio-venous micro communications, lymphatics and their arrangement was recorded. Result revealed that of 60 patients, mean sperm count, progressive motility and morphology were 29.6±24.26 million/mL, 16.47±14.53% and 5.18±5.47% respectively. The mean varicocele diameters were 3.26±0.85 and 3.72 ± 1.10 mm at lying position and at standing posture with valsalva maneuver respectively. No significant correlation was found between semen quality parameters and varicocele vein diameter. Similarly there was no correlation between the sperm count and testicular blood flow parameters. A negative correlation was found between progressive
