یہ ناول نگار کا مشاہدہ ،تخلیق اور تحقیق ہے جو انھیں دوسروں سے نمایا ں کرتی ہے۔وہ بے باکی سے اپنامدعا بیان کرتے ہیں۔ناول نگار نے ظفر عالم کا ذکر کیا ہے کہانی میں جو کہ پروڈکشن ہاؤس چلاتے ہیں اور ان کی بیگم وہاں پہ ٹیچر ہیں۔وہ لڑکیوں کو پروڈکشن کے کام سکھاتی ہیں۔ضامن کی جب ان سے ملاقات ہوئی تو وہ اسی کشمکش میں تھا کہ وہ ضامن سے کیوں ملنا چاہتے ہیں۔پہلے ہی اس کے دل ودماغ میں ذیشان اور شیزہ کے حوالے سے سوالات کے انبار تھے۔ضامن نے ظفر عالم سے ملاقات کے بعد اس کے نتائج بھی کچھ یوں نکالے:
’’مجھے یہ شخص پورے سسٹم کا مرکزی کردارمعلوم ہورہا تھااور اس کی بیوی جسے وہ ٹیچر بتارہاتھا۔میں اچھی طرح جانتا تھا یہ شوبز ڈیزاننگ انڈسٹری دوسرے لفظوں میں سیکس انڈسٹری ہوتی ہے‘‘ (25)
یہ ایک معمہ تھا۔ضامن کیلئے وہ الجھتا جارہا تھا۔ناول نگار کی تحریر شعور زیست کے ساتھ ساتھ شعار زیست بھی دیتی ہے جو قاری میں ترفع پیدا کرنے کا موجب بنتی ہے۔بہر حال قاری کے دل ودماغ کو شعور تب ملنا شروع ہوا جب ضامن، ذیشا ن اور شیزہ دونوں کے ساتھ ایک فلیٹ پر رہنے آگیا۔وہ ایک عجیب قسم کا فلیٹ تھاکبھی دوست آتے، بہت چہل ہوتی ،کبھی بہت خاموشی ،کبھی رقص کی محفل ،کبھی انتہائی بیزاری محسوس ہوتی تھی اور سب سے بڑھ کر ضامن جو شیزہ کی محبت میں گرفتار ہو کر فیصلہ نہیں کر پارہا تھاکہ ہو کیا رہا ہے۔

In the present age, youth occupy an important position and can play a very important role in reforming and improving the world conditions. In Quran several methods are suggested for character building of youth for example following “Uswa-e-Hasna” and by preaching and motivation of youth the fear Allah, the crated in their heard for reforming them. In some cases, the punishment can also reformed of youth. Youth is an important entity of any human society. Particularly in an Islamic society, youth has great significance. Youth is considered as a junction of past, present and future. The role of young generation cannot be neglected in the building of character, changes in circumstances and development of society. Youth should play a positive and effective role against various evils, which are prevalent in human society. What can be the religious social, political, ethical and educational duties of the Muslim? How can they play their role in reformation of society? How can they be bright stars of their country by fulfilling their duties? How can the whole humanity and particularly Islamic Ummah get benefits from their youth? The answers to these questions are central idea and theme of this article, generally in the light of Islam and particularly in the light of seerah-un-nabwiyia. In following lines, it has been tried to impart feelings of high self-esteem in the young generation who have forgotten it. It is an effort to motivate the youth for practical actions.
This study was conducted to study the prediction of distance learners’ achievements from locus of control and self-efficacy at post graduate level. The study aimed to predict the achievements from locus of control and self-efficacy. Population of the study comprised of students (Spring/Autumn 2015) of teacher education programs (M.A, M.Ed and B.Ed) through distance learning mode. Sample of 1513 distance learners (for quantitative analysis) was drawn out through disproportionate stratified random technique. Out of this sample, 5% (38 females and 38 males) respondents were randomly selected for semi-structured interviews.Two standardized instruments (Nowicki and Duke Locus of Scale, and General Self-efficacy scale) were adapted. Two interview guides were developed by the researcher. Achievements were measured in terms of students’ grades in the semester (Spring/Autumn 2015), life success/distinctions, and co curricular activities. Major findings of the study revealed that distance learners with internal LOC and high SE predicted high achievements and distance learners with external LOC and low SE exhibit low achievements. Significant positive relationships between SE, LOC and achievements of DLs emphasizes the importance of these variables. In this regard, training programs for course developers may be organized in a way that these may help them to focus on the importance of psychological variables in during course development. The correlation between internal LOC and high achievements also emphasizes the need that distance learners may have knowledge regarding the importance of psychological factors which play significant role in achievements. In this regard, the arrangement of end of semester reflective exercises may help DLs to gain knowledge about their LOC. Prediction of DLs achievements from LOC and SE also provoked the importance of the variables of this study for the authorities of distance education universities to pay attention towards the enclosure of psychological factors in curriculum i.e. inclusion of problem solving activities at the end of self assessment exercises, and graded problem solving projects/tasks may prove helpful.
