تہاڈے باجھوں سوہنیا رل گئے
تساں چھوڑا سانوں جل گئے
اسیں روندے پئے ہاں زار و نزار
در تیرے آکے قرار ملے
تیرے جیا نہ کدھرے پیار ملے
نہ ایہہ جیا کوئی وفادار ملے
گلی کوچہ ڈھونڈیا ہر بازار
کوئی ایڈا قاصد آیا جہدے اگے پیش نہ جاندی اے
مرن توں پہلے مرگئے انہا نوں موت کدے نہ آندی اے
کم ویکھ قضاء قدر دے بناں سجناں سنج ہو جاندی اے
سنجی پئی حویلی سانوں دسدا نہ سوہنا یار

تساں چھڑ کے سانوں ہے کتھے ڈیرا لایا
اساں روندے نیر وہاندے رہے
تہاڈے ہجر فراق اندر اسان رورو ہوش گنوایا
سوہنے مکھ نورانی والی سانوں جھلک دکھا ہک وار
تہاڈے باغ باغیچے تے پھل بوٹے پئے مہکدے ہر ہر جائیں
محفل خانیاں تھیں ذکر اذکار دیاں پیئاں ہون بلند صدائیں
جہڑی راہ وکھالی اسی ٹر دے اسے راہیں
پر تہاڈی جدوں یا دستاندی نین ہوجاندے اشکبار
قادری سائیںؔ یونس بابا جی ٹرگئے پر یاد انہاندی ریہہ گئی
چار چوفیرے پین بھلیکھے پر دل وچ صورت بہہ گئی
ایڈا دکھ وچھوڑے والا نال صبر دے جندڑی سہہ گئی
وچھڑے یار نہ بھلدے بھاویں گزرن سال ہزار

اسلام کا تصور تعلیم و تربیت

Education has been considered of primary importance in human life. Religion and education are interrelated. A civilized society requires educational revolution in behavior of human beings. Education creates awareness about the human goals and real aim of life. This activity makes it possible to train the people in the right direction. Better education coupled with proper training makes a human being well-mannered and enables him to use his hidden qualities for the benefit of mankind, thus making him a beneficial not only for himself but also for the society. The preaching of religion depends upon the education and training. Our holy Prophet ﷺ was an ideal educationist not only of his time but also for the future generations. The Holy Prophet ﷺ being a great educationist and reformer initiated the University of Suffa in Medina when the Islamic society was in its infancy. Prophet ﷺ described the conditions, pattern and qualities of a teacher. A good teacher must be interpreted as good practitioner as well. The article deals with the moral qualities of a teacher and educationist in the light of teachings of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. The discussion has made clear the aim of Islamic education which is not limited within the domain of worship or prayers. Islam is a complete code of life which emphasizes the training of human being through education.

Essay Writing in English: from Product to Process

The focus of this study was to help teachers develop an understanding of teaching essay writing through the writing process at the lower secondary level. Two language teachers of the lower secondary level participated in the study. The research study comprised of three stages, the exploratory stage, the intervention stage and the post-intervention stage. After getting the baseline data from the exploratory stage I intervened in various ways, such as sharing literature, giving teachers hands-on practice, involving them in lesson planning, team teaching and initiating discussions during and after each intervention. The purpose of this intervention was to help teachers in making a shift from product to process-oriented writing. The findings of the post- intervention phase reveal that teachers needed more time to develop an understanding of the new learning. Writing Process was found to be a useful strategy but it was difficult to fit it into the existing situation. The problems that were found to be significant was the load of syllabus completion which was making it difficult for teachers to implement Writing Process in essay writing classrooms. Writing Process helped in developing learners' essay writing skills provided sufficient time was allocated for writing. Implications for teachers and teacher educators is also discussed.
