Characteristics of Bayān-Al-Qur’ān
“Bayān al-Qur’ān” in the series of services towards the Qur’ān by Dr. Isrār Aḥmad (d:1431A. H/2010A. D) has an important standing. He had been presenting the translation besides brief explanation of the Qur’ān during Ṣalāt-e-Tarāvīh since 1984A. D; this series of daura-e-Tarjuma (translation) was liked world-wide.
The task of publishing daura Tarjuma-e-Qur’ān(held in 1998A. D inQur’ān Academy, Karāchī) in a book form had commenced in the life-time of Dr. Isrār Aḥmad. This important assignment was taken on by Anjuman Khuddām al-Qur’ān, Khyber Pakhtūnkhwāh, Peshāwar; so far, five volumes of Bayān al-Qur’ān upto Surah al-sajadah have been published.
Dr. Isrār Aḥmad’s Tarjuma-e-Qur’ān comprising a brief translation and explanation in the form of Bayān al-Qur’ān has the following peculiarities:-
1. He presents the points of explanation (Tafsīr) in a very simple but convincing way for the audience which is easy as well as understandable. While explaining the ‘Split Alphabets’(ḥarūf-e-Muqatti‘āt) with refernce to the first Āyah of Surah al-baqarah, he writes:
“These are the split words; suffice to know that no one knows the real and specific meaning of these with certainty except Allāh and His prophet(SAWS). This is a mystery resting between Allāh and the prophet(SAWS). Many explanations have come up but none of these is attributable or endorsed by the prophet(SAWS). However, it is known that the use of such split-words was common in poetic expression of the Arabs, hence they never raised a finger about the same. Out of 114 Suwar-e-Mubārakah (chapters) in the Qur’ān, 29 begin with such alphabets (ḥurūf-e-muqatti‘āt). ” [1]

Almighty Allah created Ãdam and made each and every thing of this Universe in his order to take interest and use it well. But he also made some laws also to follow that he can avoid many mishaps. He sent Prophets for proper guidance of mankind and empowered them with Books containing the laws and instructions according to the need of hours. But Islam is the complete code of life and it has to remain in the world till the last day the Day of Judgment. Islam protected the life and honor of men & women in each and every stage of life. Islam has given all the rights to a woman which a man enjoys at any stage of life. Islam is the supporter of equality among the all human beings and wants to reduce differences made by men themselves so it allows relationships between followers of all religions. Especially among religions. So allowed to get merry with women of other religions like Jews & Christians, the followers of sacred books. By this action it wants to reduce gap among human beings. Islam also allows those women who got married with Muslims to act in their personal lives according to their own religions.
(Alhidya and Al Dhalala, Rhetorically and Morphologically in the Light of the Holy Quran") The Almight Allah has revealed the Holy Quran for the guidance of humanity to spread the light of Hidaya and to eradicate the darkness of ignorance. It is also a wonderful source of rhetoric and eloquence. I have selected the following title for my PhD dissertation "Alhidya and Al Dhalala, Rhetorically and Morphologically in the Light of the Holy Quran". I have divided my topic into rive chapters and to several sub chapters. First Chapter: Meanings of Al-Hidaya and its synonyms; consists of synonyms, literal and terminological meanings of Al-Hidaya, its kinds and rules, and the characteristics of the guided people in the light of the Holy Quran. Second Chapter: This chapter includes the concept of al-Dhalala, its synonyms, its literal and terminological meanings, types and regulations, and the symptoms of the astrayed in the light of the teachings of the Holy Quran. Third Chapter: It includes thematic analysis of the verses mentioning the concepts of Al-Hadiya and Al-Dhalala. Fourth Chapter: It consists of terminological analysis of the verses regarding Al-Hidayah and Al- Dalala and their derivative mentioned in the Holy Quran. Fifth Chapter: In this chapter, I have discussed the rhetorical analysis of the verses regarding the topic.
