ہم جب نماز اد کرنے کے لیے کھڑے ہوتے ہیں۔ فرض ادا کرنے ہوں ، وترادا کرنے ہوں ،نفل ادا کرنے ہوں ، واجب کی ادائیگی ہورہی ہے یا سنن ادا کرنے کی غرض سے حالت قیام میں سجدہ کی جگہ پر نظر جما کرمحوعبادت ہوں۔ ہر حال میں اور ہر رکعت میں باہوش وحوا س اہد ناالصراط المستقیم کی تکرار کرتے ہیں ، اس کے معنی یہ ہیں کہ ’’ اے اللہ ہمیں سیدھے رستے کی طرف ہدایت فرما‘‘ پابند صوم وصلوۃ شخص دن میں اڑتالیس مرتبہ بہ صدائے عجز و نیاز بلند کرتا ہے، اللہ تعالیٰ کے سامنے دعا کرتا ہے، ہر کلمہ گو شخص خواہ رنگ میں ،نسل میں ، نسب میں، حسب میں اختلاف ہی کیوں نہ رکھتا ہو طلب راہ راست میں برابر ہوتا ہے۔
اسلام دین فطرت ہے۔ یہ اپنے ماننے والے کے لیے ہر میدان میں ترقی وعروج کے دروازے وا کر دیتا ہے۔ اس کی تعلیمات پرعمل پیرا شخص صحت مند معاشرے کے ماتھے کا جھومر ہوتا ہے، ایساکبھی نہیں ہوتا کہ اللہ تعالیٰ سے دست سوال دراز کرنے والا شخص دراز قامت ہو ، کثیر الوجود ہو، کثیر العیال ہو، انعام و کرام سے نواز دیا جائے اور کوتاہ قد،نحیف، او ر قلیل العیال شخص بارگاہ ایزدی میں دست بدعا ہو اور وہ نامراد واپس لوٹ آئے۔ اللہ تعالیٰ کی رحمت ،نعمت اور انعام و کرام کے دروازے ہر ایک کے لئے ہیں۔
لیکن حصول رحمت ایزدی کے لیے سلیقہ مند ہونا انتہائی ناگزیر ہے اور سلیقہ بجز حُبِّ مصطفیٰ صلی اللہ علیہ و آلہٖ وسلم نہیں آ سکتا۔ کیونکہ اطاعت ِمصطفیٰ صلی اللہ علیہ و آلہٖ وسلم ہی اطاعتِ الٰہی ہے’’ جس نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ و آلہٖ وسلم کی اطاعت کی اس نے اللہ تعالیٰ کی اطاعت کی‘‘ مناصب ِجلیلہ پر...
Imbibing reading habits is an essential skill necessary in the acquisition of knowledge, which is highly demanding in the life of every student in the academic environment. However, as modern technological resources keep on advancing, the reading habits of students are also changing with reading on screen. This study examined the reading habits of college sophomore students as affected by technological resources. The survey instruments, distributed to 254 college sophomore students at the Ilocos Sur Polytechnic State College, allowed the respondents to assess their reading habits in terms of reading hours, reading purposes, reading content, and reading attitude, with the technological resources as their tool. The data gathered in the study was analyzed statistically using the simple frequency count and percentage, mean, and Pearson correlation. The findings revealed that the college sophomores achieved an average level in their English subjects. In addition, it was found that the technology resources were moderately adequate to be used for reading among the college sophomores. Despite this, the results still showed that college sophomore students spent 2-3 hours a day reading, primarily in preparation for their exams. In addition, they read the available reading content moderately often, and they perceive a positive attitude towards the use of technological resources for reading. Furthermore, it was revealed that there is a significant relationship between reading habits and academic achievements. The study's findings will be used to improve instructional approaches and to launch e-reading initiatives in colleges.
This study aims to identify, Strategic Human Resource Management fit theoretical approach relationship with the organizational performance in the context of Pakistan finance and insurance sector. The focus of attention remained on the development of contextualized SHRM fit bidimensions scale based on SHRM vertical and horizontal fit to identify their relationship with human resource performance outcomes, operational performance outcomes, and financial performance outcomes. Data were collected from senior HR managers and employees of the organizations working under domestic and international banks, life and general insurance companies, development financial institutions and modaraba and leasing companies. The collected data aggregated at the organization level to identify the proposed relationships. Hierarchical linear regression was applied, which had revealed that SHRM fit and its bidimensions are positively related with operational performance outcomes through the mediation of human resource performance outcomes and also positively related with financial performance outcomes through the mediation of human resource performance outcomes and operational performance outcomes. The study keenly supported the indirect relationship of SHRM fit with organizational performance, along with contributing in the literature from the context of Pakistan. The study generated vital information for the managers of Pakistan finance and insurance sector regarding SHRM fit and its bi-dimensions relationship with organizational performance outcomes and highlighted a need for the improvement in human resource performance outcomes and operational performance outcomes, for effectively achieving the distal financial performance outcomes. The study concluded with future research areas and managerial implications.
