Present study was attempted to examine the relationship among psychological courage, selfdetermination and Examination Phobia among male and female graduate students. This systematic quantitative research was based on cross sectional research design. The hypothesis raised was whether there is significant relationship among psychological courage, selfdetermination and Examination Phobia among male and female graduate students. This is further hypothesized that psychological courage, self-determination are likely to predict Examination Phobia in graduate students. Total seven hundred forty four (n=744) students were taken from undergraduate programs of various universities of Pakistan, belonging both from rural and urban set up by using non probability purposive sampling. The sample comprised of age group 18-50 years of students. The scales used to collect data, included Demographic Information Questionnaire, Courage Scale-23, The AIR Self Determination Scale and Westside Test Anxiety Scale. The analysis was executed through SPSS version 23.00. The findings reveal that psychological courage was highly related to the self determination of graduate students because psychological courage deals with the ability to face problems courageously and bravely and stand up against odds. Also self-determination entails the innate ability to give boost to one’s self to achieve any goal or destination which is again positively correlated with psychological courage but it is not correlated with Examination Phobia which showed that Examination Phobia has no relationship with psychological courage and self-determination of male and female graduate students. These findings carry significant implications for clinical psychologists, educational psychologists, health psychologists and counsellors.
