Abstract
This thesis investigates and present analysis on an oblique stagnation point flows of non-linear fluid models. The constitutive equations of models like Walters’ B fluid, micropolar and Jeffrey fluids are considered to incorporate the rheological properties. The mathematical models of oblique stagnation point flows are developed for flat surface and circular cylinder. The effects of heat transfer and lubrication wall are also considered in this thesis. In some cases, nanofluids are also investigated. The developed governing equations are transformed to ordinary differential equations using suitable choice of transformations. The boundary value problems are then solved numerically using hybrid homotopy analysis and Keller- box methods. Some new solutions of Walter’s B fluid are also presented. The effects of rheological parameters are captured through tabular data and graphs.
