The study explores the evaluation criteria of individual and groups of raters as well as computes their inter rater and intra rater reliability on a national level high stakes examination in the Punjab province of Pakistan. The study thus looks at the process (the evaluation criteria) and the product (actual scores).Out of a total of nine examination Boards in the Punjab, three are in the South Punjab (SP). 34 raters from Multan, and 30 from DG Khan and Bahawalpur Board each totaling 94 markers, evaluated 20 essays twice after a gap of at least six weeks. The raters were not provided any rating scale to evaluate the essay since none is provided by the Boards they work with. They were asked to evaluate the essays as they did in the real in the examination centers and give an overall score to each essay. Only the seasoned raters with a minimum of ten years experience were recruited for this study to control for the ‘experience’ variable. There were 5 essays on each of the four topics (A Picnic Party, Patriotism, Co-education and Science). The essay topics were selected from the previous examination questions. After all the markers (n=94) had examined the same essay set (n=20) the second time (Time 2) they were asked to write a short written commentary to explain their evaluation criteria .The quantity of the response varied among individual and groups. Out of 473 paragraphs, 265 were written by males and 208 by female respondents. Following this task, 20 raters were interviewed using semi-structured format to crosscheck and better understand the findings from the qualitative as well as quantitative data.

Relationship on Nursing Performance of Patient Satisfaction in Installation of Hospital in General Hospital Deli Serdang Region

Patients assess the efficiency of nursing care by the fulfillment of their desires. This thesis was to identify the correlation between nurses' inpatient service quality and patient satisfaction. Quantitative and cross-sectional research This sample was made up of all patients admitted to the Deli Serdang Hospital, which indicates that about 320 patients were hospitalized for [for an average of] 3 days.5 days. As many as 77 human population samples of which were chosen to be included in the study All data derived from interviews and observations using a statistical model with a 5% significance level of probability, evaluated using the Multiple Linear Regression Approach The multiple logistic statistical evidence indicates that the influence of the vector service efficiency (p = 0.016) and connectivity (p = 0.016) is important (p = 0.043) on patient satisfaction. The level of contact has the biggest impact on patient satisfaction at The general ward in the Dedun restorative In-Patient Deli Serdang Hospital The results of this study are that service quality, connectivity, tempo, and capacity have an impact on customer satisfaction.

Chitosan Encapsulatedpolygalacturonase its Kinetic Characterisation for Industrial Expolitation

Polygalacturonase (PG) is a group of pectinases that possess hydrolytic functions and are capable to cleave the a-1, 4 glycosidic bonds between the two non-esterified galacturonic acid residues in pectin and pectic substances. These enzymes are used commercially, such as paper, textile, cellulose, and food industries and have many important industrial applications. It is the most important tool for the purification of galacturonic acid and degradation of pollutants. In the present study substrates orange peel and sugar cane bagasse were used for the production of galacturonic enzymes by Trichoderma hazrianum through Solid State Fermentation (SSF). The highest yield of enzymes produced was 183.0U/mL. This highest yield was obtained at pH7 temperature 35?C, inoculums size 5mL, moisture level 70%, and days of incubation5 nitrogen level 2g.The purified enzyme has been further selected for ammonium sulphate precipitation and gel filtration chromatography. The purified enzyme has been characterized through enzymatic kinetic for study of its characterization temperature 45?C, pH8 and Km0.25, Vmax0.05 values. The immobilization was observed through chitosan. The immobilized enzyme showed the highest activity at temperature 45?C and pH6. For industrial application its activity was observed to decrease turbidity and increase fruit juice clarification.
