The present study aimed to examine the impact of leadership styles (transformational & transactional) of the head of departments on employees (teachers) performance working in the academic department of higher educational institutions in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. In similar vein, current study also examined mediating role of organizational justice and culture in relationship between leadership styles and teachers’ performance. For this purpose, data was collected from the both teachers and head of departments in the selected HEIs. The same data was then analyzed by using different statistical tools like correlation, regression, mediation and test of significance. In this regard, correlation analysis shows that all research variables are significantly correlated (table 4.14), wherein, correlation between transformational style and employees performance is (R=.915 & P-value=.000), transactional style (R=.816 & P-value=.000), organizational justice (R=.815 & P-value =.000) and organizational culture (R=.849 & P-value =.000). Similarly, cause-n-effect relationship shows that there is significant impact of predictors on criterion variable (table 4.15), wherein, the results showed that the transformational leadership is stronger predictor of employees’ performance (p- .000) as compared to transactional leadership (.020). Likewise, the mediation results (four models, table 4.40) shows that mediating variables (organizational justice & culture) partially mediate the relationship between the predictors and the criterion (tables 4.16 to 4.30a). In same line, test of significance shows diverse results about mean differences among demographic groups of respondents (tables 4.32 to 4.39). The results show that out of fourteen (14) hypotheses, eleven (11) were accepted and three (3) were rejected. However, findings of current study were positioned in Chapter 5, where these findings (current study) were compared with existing research (previous research) findings. In light of this positioning, conclusion were drawn based on certain recommendations and implications.

افسوس ہے کہ مولانا محب اﷲ ندوی مہتمم دارالعلوم ندوۃ العلماء لکھنؤ، ۳۰؍ نومبر ۹۳؁ء کو رحلت فرماگئے، ان کی عمر ۸۸ برس تھی اور وہ نحیف و کمزور بھی ہوگئے تھے لیکن ندوۃ العلماء کے دور کمال کی ایک یادگار تھے اور ان کا وجود ندوۃ العلماء خصوصاً اس کے ناظم مولانا سید ابوالحسن علی ندوی مدظلہ کے لیے باعث تقویت تھا جن کے مرحوم ہم سبق تھے۔
ان کا وطن لارتھا، یہیں ابتدائی تعلیم حاصل کی۔ عربی تعلیم ندوۃ العلماء لکھنو اور انگریزی تعلیم علی گڑھ مسلم یونیورسٹی میں پائی اس کے بعد وہ چاہتے تو اچھی سی اچھی ملازمت مل جاتی مگر انھوں نے فراغت کے بعد کانپور میں اپنی انڈسٹری کرلی۔
کاروبار میں لگ جانے کے بعد بھی انھوں نے ندوۃ العلماء اور اس کے فضلا سے اپنا تعلق باقی رکھا اور اس کی مجلس انتظامیہ کے برابر رکن رہے۔ ۶۹؁ء میں بعض خاص حالات کی بناء پر انہیں دارالعلوم کے اہتمام کی ذمہ داری سپرد کی گئی جس کو کم و بیش ۲۵ برس تک وہ انجام دیتے رہے اور وفات کے بعد ہی اس سے سبکدوش ہوئے۔
دینداری، تقویٰ اور خشیتِ الٰہی ان کا شعار تھا، طبیعت میں اعتدال، سلامت روی سادگی اور انکسار تھا۔ اپنے اخلاص، مروت، شرافت اور حسن خلق کی بناء پر طلبہ، اساتذہ اور منتظمین کے حلقے میں مقبول رہے۔ اﷲ تعالیٰ اپنے اس نیک بندے کی مغفرت فرمائے، آمین۔
اب مولانا سید محمد رابع ندوی صاحب نے دارالعلوم ندوۃ العلماء کے اہتمام کی ذمہ داری سنبھال لی ہے، جن کا انتخاب ان کے طویل تجربہ اور دیرینہ خدمات کی بنا پر بہت مناسب ہوا ہے۔ (ضیاء الدین اصلاحی۔ جنوری ۱۹۹۴ء)

 

Growth in Islamic Economy

A major proof viewed by the Islamic universe today is the proof of re-making and reorganizing the economy in such a way seen as similar to the motivation of Sharia’h work. Money-related new development is one of the topics that in a general sense is termed as a science that offers a technique to show the science of monetary angles. Nevertheless, the standard technique, which has been assembled, is being considered for dissatisfaction in dealing with the issues of the Ummah, for example, despair, backwardness in human resources (HR), and achievement in proper position and life, and even a matter of natural change. Sadly, those conditions are found overwhelmingly in the Muslim world, where they have essentially manifested and represented in Muslim life. Moreover, it seems that the uniqueness of the Muslim world has been challenging, that is, it is typically rich in asset but still weak and poor. As for the path, in Muslim society, there is an ignorance of the achievements of motivation. Thus, there is no possible norm to find the emergence of different methodologies within the Islamic structure, surprisingly in the area of ​​money-related to unforeseen development.

On the Monogenity of Cyclic Sextic Fields of Prime Conductor

In research of algebraic number fields, a construction of an appropriate integral basis plays a fundamental role. Researchers impose certain conditions on algebraic number fields in order to handle the hard problems of Algebraic Number Theory. For construction of an appropriate integral basis and determination of the relative monogenity and absolute monogenity, we select an algebraic number field, which is a composite field of cyclotomic field of conductor n and a totally real field of conductor m with (n;m) = 1 and also cyclic sextic field of prime conductor p with the prime discriminant p_: In this thesis we consider a classical problem of Algebraic Number Theory that an algebraic number field is monogenic or not, which was introduced in the 1960s by a German mathematician Helmut Hasse. In the case of composite field K = kn _ F; the methodology begins with the determination of units in the cyclotomic field kn to show that Zkn = Zk+ n [_]; where k+ n is the maximal real subfield of the cyclotomic field kn: By the consideration of any element of ZK taking the partial di_erent and its norm, we conclude that ZK has no power integral basis. Our methodology in the case of cyclic sextic field L begins with an algebraic integer _0 of L; where _0 denotes the Gau_ period of length p?1 6 : We established the non monogenic phenomenon in L by taking the relative norm NL=k(_0?__ 0 );NL=k(_0?__2 0 ) and NL=k(_0 ?__3 0 ) of the three partial factors _0 ?__ 0 ; _0 ?__2 0 and _0 ?__3 0 respectively of the di_erent dL(_0) by the way of the quadratic subfield k of L: Here _ is an automorphism _p ! _r p ; where r a primitive root modulo p and _p is a primitive pth root of unity. We conclude that _0 generates the power integral basis for the 7th cyclotomic field, maximal real subfield of 13th cyclotomic field and a field of conductor 32 only. In fact for any element _ of L; we have shown that _ cannot generate a power integral basis in the same way as _0 except for the above three sextic fields.
