Polyimide/silica (PI/silica) and poly(hydroxyl imide)/silica (PHI/silica) nanocomposites containing pure as well as organically modified silica network structures have been prepared through the sol-gel process from solution mixtures of poly(amic acid) (PAA) and alkoxysilanes. Two types of PAAs were employed. The first was obtained from the reaction of pyromellitic dianhydride (PMDA) with oxydianiline (ODA) in dimethylacetamide as a solvent. The second was prepared from the reaction of PMDA with a mixture of 3,3′- diamino-4,4′-dihydroxybiphenyl and ODA. The hybrid films obtained by solvent elution technique were thermally cured to carry out the imidization process and the silica network formation. The effect of compatibility enhancement achieved through the modification of polymer backbone as well as through the use of non-silane and silane-terminated imide coupling oligomers on structure and properties of hybrids was studied and compared with the systems where reinforcement of the matrix was achieved using pure silica. The presence of pendant hydroxyl groups on polymer backbone played an important role in dictating the morphology of the PHI/silica hybrids. A model namely “Retain and React” based on two-step process has been proposed to explain the formation of polymer- modified silica clusters composed of co-continuous nano-domains with diffused boundaries as the previously proposed models failed to explain the observed morphology. The introduction of coupling oligomers in hybrid systems impeded the agglomeration of nano- sized silica domains and promoted the formation of novel fibril structures connecting the organic and inorganic phases together. Significant reduction in the roughness of the surfaces in the hybrid materials having modified matrix and silica networks has also been attributed to effect of enhanced coupling. A large shift in the glass transition temperature (Tg) of the hybrid material to higher temperatures confirmed the restricted segmental motion of polymer backbone due to increased interfacial interaction. The high surface-area of the interconnected silica domains stabilized the materials and shifted the decomposition profiles to higher temperatures by providing barriers to heat and mass transport in the hybrid material and thus slowing down the diffusion of oxygen in the matrix. The enhanced polarity coupled with organically modified silica offer an opportunity for improving Tg, reducing the coefficient of thermal expansion and increasing thermal-oxidative stability of polyimide/silica hybrids. The co-continuous and interpenetrating network structure thus produced also improves mechanical properties. ترجمہ؛ آج ہم نے آپ کے لیے دین مکمل کردیااور اپنی نعمت آپ پر تمام کردی اور آپ کے لیے دین اسلام کو پسند کیا‘‘
آپ ﷺ کے وجود باجود پر نبوت کا خاتمہ کردیا ارشاد ربانی ہے ’’ وَ لَکِنْ رَّ سُوْلَ اللّٰہِ وَخاَتَم َ النَبِیِّیْنَ ‘‘( الاحزاب ۵)

SINERGITAS PENGEMBANGAN KURIKULUM PAI DALAM PENDIDIKAN

Islamic education curriculum has central value for education process, as education vision direction. Islamic education mission is how to create religious people by leaning perfectly. Curriculum becomes one of success applications and quality in education institution most. Curriculum will develop based on global world and people life style existency. Therefore, education should view people life style increased as learning source that is becomed a value for curriculum step making. Beside that, islamic education curriculum development also becomes teacher’s choice to implement learning manner in class. In where, it’s implementation should be arranged and systematically to make maximal learning either in development vision, indicator, lesson teory, lesson model proccess, learning evaluation or teacher’s development skill. The process of islamic education curriculum development  must be done good and awesome also seeing several factors as supports and obstacles of it. In other to get an education result based on such the plan made before(education planning).

The Relationship Between Environmental Beliefs and Green Purchase Intentions: Examing the Mediating Role of Environmental Concern and Moderating Role of Environmental Responsibility

The voice of environmentally concerned consumers led many firms to incorporate the green marketing elements in their business models. Many organizations spent millions of dollars on the development, selling and promotional campaigns of green products. The notion was also supported by researchers and international survey organizations in the form of growing demand and market share of green products. However, in reality, existing sales trends of green products in the markets are not promising. Although consumers are in favor of green products and green firms even some of them are agreed to pay extra amount to buy green products but when comes to make a purchase decision, conventional products remain their first choice at the point of sale. Thus, non-acceptance of green products by the consumers at large scale is becoming a major issue of concern for marketing managers. Therefore, it is very timely to explore and understand the underlying mechanism of human attitude formation process. The aim of this research is to examine the impact of environmental beliefs on green purchase intentions. Although, environmental beliefs have a significant role in motivating the individuals to behave in an environmental friendly way still a weak relationship between environmental beliefs and green purchase intentions has been reported in prior research. Therefore, the mediating role of environmental concern between environmental beliefs and green purchase intentions as well as moderating role of environmental responsibility between environmental beliefs and environmental concern was explored to advance the existing stream of research in the field of green marketing. The conceptual framework was developed based on the theory of reasoned action. Survey method was used to collect data from consumers of Rawalpindi and Islamabad. For this purpose, already established measures were adapted from xi previous studies in the field of green marketing. Subsequently, 519 useable responses were utilized for data analysis through statistical techniques. Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) technique was used to gauge the model fit and to test the hypothesized associations. Likewise, the conceptual framework was also tested through bootstrapping technique suggested by Preacher and Hayes. The results revealed that environmental concern mediate the relation between environmental beliefs and green purchase intentions. Similarly, moderating role of environmental responsibility between environmental beliefs and environmental concern was also proved. The thesis was winded up by highlighting the theoretical, contextual and managerial implications along-with future research avenues.
