The Standard Model of particle physics is a very well tested theory today. There are some theoretical as well as experimental deficiencies in the Standard Model which hint for theories beyond the Standard Model. Any such theory may be tested by direct observation of some new particles, predicted by the theory, at High Energy Colliders, like the Large Hadron Collider(LHC). Since there has been no such particle detected till today, we need to study these new theories under the phenomenological aspects of our known experimental results. Such studies result in constraining the free parameter space of these models. In this thesis, we use experimental results from three different experiments at the LHC, namely the ATLAS experiment, the CMS experiment and the LHC-b experiment to constrain the parameter spaces of some of these models. The models discussed in this thesis are basically constructed by making minimal extensions in scalar and gauge structures of the Standard Model. We apply constraints on these models from the flavor physics observables which are mainly coming from the rare decays of B-mesons and are measured by the particle physics experiment, LHC-beauty (LHCb). In our study we also discuss some supersymmetric extensions of the Standard Model in light of the latest results on masses of particles and their superpartners (sparticles) provided by the ATLAS and the CMS experiments. It is also seen that the supersymmetric extensions of the Standard Model can provide a suitable dark matter candidate, the neutralino, with several coannihilation scenarios while having compatibilitywithallrecentexperimentalconstraintsfrom B-physicsandthesparticles mass bounds. Direct and indirect dark matter searches by XENON1t and Fermi-LAT collaborations are also incorporated to the studies of these models by measuring the dark matter relic density as well as spin-dependent and spin-independent cross sections forsomesampledatapoints. Compatibility ofsolutionswith Yukawa unifiedtheoriesis alsosearchedforthegaugesymmetrybasedsupersymmetricextensionsoftheStandard Model. We have also searched how the anomaly associated with the magnetic moment of muon can be solved within the context of the supersymmetric extensions of the Standard Model, in addition to all other constraints.

اس دور میں مصر کے دو ازہری عالموں نے ہندسوستان کی اسلامی تاریخ اور یہاں کی علمی و دینی خدمات و شخصیات سے خصوصی اعتنا کیا ہے اور اس موضوع کے بارے میں عالم عرب اور عالم اسلام کے لیے بیش بہا معلومات فراہم کیں، ایک سابق وزیر اوقاف ڈاکٹر عبدالمنعم النمرؒ اور دوسرے مدیر کلیہ شیخ الازہر ڈاکٹر عبدالعزیز عزت حفظہ اﷲ وسلمہ، اس وقت شیخ عبدالمنعم النمر کا ذکر مقصود ہے، جنھوں نے ۲۷ ماہ ہندوستان میں رہ کر عربی زبان و ادب اور ثقافت کی تعلیم دینے کے ساتھ کشمیر سے مالابار تک سیاحت کر کے یہاں کے اسلامی آثار و تواریخ کا بغور مطالعہ کیا اور کتابیں لکھیں، نیز مولانا ابوالکلام آزاد پر تحقیقی مقالہ لکھ کر ڈاکٹریٹ کی ڈگری حاصل کی اور استاذ عبدالعزیز عزت نے یہاں کی متعدد کتابوں کا عربی میں ترجمہ شایع کیا، یہ دونوں عالم جامع ازہر اور موتمر اسلامی کی طرف سے ہندوستان میں مبعوث تھے، شیخ النمر کے ذکر سے پہلے استاذ عزت کا مختصر تعارف مناسب معلوم ہوتا ہے۔
استاد عبدالعزیز عزت نے جامع ازہر میں تعلیم حاصل کی اور اسی میں اردو زبان سیکھی اردو کی کتابیں اور اخبارات و رسائل بے تکلف پڑھتے اور سمجھتے ہیں البتہ بات چیت میں عربی اردو بولتے ہیں جس طرح یہاں کے علماء عربی کتابیں پڑھتے پڑھاتے ہیں اور گفتگو میں ہندی عربی بولتے ہیں اور دونوں کے لیے یہ عیب کی بات نہیں ہے بلکہ اس سے سننے والے اہل زبان کو لطف آتا ہے، وہ جامع ازہر اور موتمر اسلامی کی طرف سے بمبئی میں عربی زبان کی تعلیم کے لیے مبعوث ہوئے اور تقریباً چار سال کے بعد ۱۹۶۵؁ء میں واپس ہوئے، اس درمیان میں میرے ان کے تعلقات عزیزانہ انداز کے ہوگئے اس کے بعد وہ...

Fayyuz-ul-Herman is the book of Shah Waliullah. In which he describes the circumstances of the two years he spent in Macca and Madina. This book is in Arabic and there are two translations in Urdu. The name of the first Translation is Saadat e Konin. The second translation's name is Mushahidat o Maaraf. This article has a comparative study of both the merits and the shortcomings are described.

Synthesis and Characterization of Potentially Biologically Active Phenoxy Iso-Butyric Acid Derivatives.

The work in this thesis describes the synthesis and characterization of phenoxy isobutyric acid derivatives and their biological screening which includes anti-bacterial, antioxidant, biofilm inhibition and mutagenic assay. First part of this research work consists of alkylation of substituted phenols to get 4-chlorophenoxy isobutyric acid (131) and 4bromophenoxy isobutyric acid (179). These acids were converted into 4-chlorophenoxy isobutyrate (132) and 4-bromophenoxy isobutyrate (180) followed by their hydrazinolysis to obtain 2-(4-chlorophenoxy)-2-methyl propane hydrazide (133) and 2-(4-bromophenoxy)-2methyl propane hydrazide (181).Condensation of these hydrazides 133 & 181.with substituted benzaldehyde and aromatic acetophenone yielded N’-benzylidine-2-(4-chlorophenoxy)-2ethylpropanehydrazides (155-178) and N’-benzylidine-2-(4-bromophenoxy)-2- methyl propane hydrazides (182-196) respectively. In another series, chalcones (110-130) were synthesized by Claisan condensation reaction. These chalcones were react with 2-(4-chlorophenoxy)-2-methylpropanehydrazide (133) in ethanol and acidic environment to yield a novel series of 2-(4-chlorophenoxy)-[1,diphenylallylidene]-2-methylpropanehydrazides. (134-154). In the second part, all the compounds were characterized by spectroscopic techniques like IR, NMR, mass spectrometry and X-ray crystallography. In third part, all the compounds were subjected to biological screening, which includes anti-bacterial, anti-oxidant, biofilm inhibition, and mutagenic assay and it was found that these compounds have a great potential to act actively in drug discovery.
