Subdivision is a method of generating smooth curves or surfaces. In recent years, subdivision curves and surfaces have come to the forefront of geometric modeling. There is a variety of existing subdivision schemes whose classification can be based on different criteria. In this dissertation non-stationary subdivision schemes are de veloped using the hyperbolic form of Lagrange-like interpolant, trigonometric and hy perbolic forms of uniform B-spline. These schemes are presented mainly to overcome the limitation of generation of conics by subdivision schemes especially parabolas and hyperbolas. Asymptotic equivalence method has been used for convergence analysis of the proposed schemes. Curvature plot technique has been employed to check the accuracy and efficiency of the proposed schemes to construct conic-sections. The ge ometrical behavior of the proposed schemes has been depicted through explanatory examples.

Relationship Between Level of Educational Attainment and Employee Performance: Mediating Role of Individual Religious Affiliation

Purpose: This study empirically investigates the relation between education level and employees’ performance working in public sector universities from the viewpoint of Islamic religiosity when religious affiliations play mediating role. It has been experienced that more educated people are found to be more involved in performing tasks related to the religious affiliations. Due to the fact that people with higher education found less time to complete their religious obligations, they are more involved in alternative arrangements like charity and donations to fulfill the hunger of religious attainments. Therefore, in order to satisfy themselves religiously, they are more involved in religious affiliations. This high involvement in fulfilling religious arrangements impacts their individual job performance which is necessary to explore. Research Methodology: Data was gathered from the public sector university employees of Pakistan. Out of 900 distributed questionnaires, 520 were received with response rate of 73.65%. Regression analysis is performed in order to determine the association between level of education and individual performance. Further, in order to determine the mediating role of religious affiliations, the Barren and Kerry (1984) model is applied. Findings: Using questionnaire survey the results of the study showed that level of education significantly impacts the religious affiliations in positive manner and high religious affiliations increase the individual job performance. The results at this point indicated that an unobservable indicator, like propensity for logical rationale induces individuals for higher education and ultimately high religious affiliations. Recommendations: Based upon the results, it is recommended that religiosity and ethical values in management set up are need to be escorted by public reforms to let the identification of employees to their work values and their obligation to the performance of work-related tasks. Originality: This study would be a clear contribution in the field of human behavior towards making alternative arrangements in order to fulfill religious obligations and at the same time identifying the mediating role of religious attainments in determining their individual performance.

Impact of Job Complexity on Creative Performance Moderating Role of Personality Big Five Model

Jobs are getting complex day by day, to meet these challenges employees need to be more dynamic and innovative in order to be persistent in fulfilling the demands of the customers and market. The objective of the study was to find out the impact of job complexity on employee creative performance and to check the moderating role of big five personality traits on the relationship between job complexities on employee creative performance. The study was quantitative in nature. A structured questionnaire was used for collection of primary data. Constructs for all variables were adopted that had already been validated by previous literature. Data for this study was collected from the employees of developmental sectors that include International Rescue Committee (US based INGO), Save the Children Pakistan Program (US eased INGO), Merlin (England based INGO). Sample data was collected with the help of simple random sampling method. Statistical techniques include Cronbach Alpha for reliability of data, descriptive Statistic, Pearson Correlation and Linear Regression Analysis was used to analyze the data. The results of the research study indicated that Job Complexity tends to enhance employees Creative Performance. The result of the study also indicated that Personality traits when used as moderator Extroverts, Contentiousness, Agreeable and Openness to Experience Lengthened the relationship between Job Complexity and Creative Performance whereas trait Neuroticism negatively moderated the projected relationship. At the end limitations of the study, recommendations for future research have also been discussed.
