Artificial intelligence is becoming an integral constituent in almost all domains of scientific as well as business and social development. From analytics to synthetic robotics, the agency is expanding from concept refinement to operative excellence. Artificial intelligence is no more limited to computation and decision making, the inference of psychology, cognitive science, neuroscience and philosophy introduced more challenging ideas in this domain. Human-like rationality is one vital point in artificial intelligence which gains lot more attention in recent past, related to the same point, knowledge management in the agency is also highlighted as an area of interest as it provides the basis to rational decision making and planning. From data processing to information management and converting information patterns to knowledge cluster is a huge research area which is becoming important due to the emergence of challenges like Bigdata and IoT. Implicit and explicit knowledge in the human brain is split due to conscious and unconscious part of the brain. The automaticity of the unconscious, emotion generation and intuition are all beyond conscious control but having an impact on all conscious processes, therefore; it is important to focus on unconscious process management to have a better understanding / control of conscious processes and decision making. This thesis provides a view of the impact of knowledge convergence and divergence at conscious and unconscious level. Knowledge manipulation is highly important to develop evolvable/learnable processes in the agency. Converging the existing knowledge to formulate solutions or to refine the existing knowledge is important as a cognitive ability to create / generate solutions. It is far more important to study the generation of divergent ideas at unconscious level based on implicit knowledge, dreams and emotions as this type of knowledge are responsible for radical changes in developing new paths, solutions and even the news ways for system survival. Proposed framework in this research has discussed all these aspects in a comprehensive manner. The validation of the same is being done using two scenarios to evaluate the convergence and divergence phenomenon in machines. Results show that convergence and divergence both are supportive of developing creative ability in the machines.

بینک اکاؤنٹس کی فقہی حیثیت اور کٹوتی زکوۃ [ایک تحقیقی جائزہ]

Zakat is one of the most important elements of Islam, which is obligatory upon every able-bodied Muslim after fulfilling the conditions of Zakat. In this regard, zakat payers either pay their zakat themselves or the government collects zakat from them through financial institutions, in which a large part is obtained through bank accounts, so four points need to be researched in this article. 1. The accounts of the people in the bank will be counted according to which type of assets? The preferable opinion in this is that the bank accounts will be counted among the internal assets.2. Does the government have the right to withdraw zakat from people's deposits in the bank or the owner of the property? The opinion of the majority of scholars is that it is obligatory to give Zakat to the government of the external assets, and the government has the authority to ask for Zakat regarding the internal assets 3. Are bank accounts like loans? In summary, the status of a bank account is similar to a debt, but a new type of debt. 4. Are all the conditions of Zakat observed in Pakistani banks regarding the deduction of Zakat or not? From the evidences, it has been concluded that there are six flaws in the method of zakat collection through banks. In this paper, Analytical research methodology is adopted. In this paper, the researcher has preferred to derive concepts from the primary sources related to the subject and later has used secondary sources and contemporary references so that the subject is embellished by the combination of ancient and modern views.

Automatic Colon Cancer Detection and Classi Cation

In the past two decades, automatic colon cancer detection has become an active research area. Traditionally, colon cancer is diagnosed using microscopic analysis of pathological tissue imagery. However, the process is subjective and leads to considerable inter/intra observer variation in diagnosis. Therefore, reliable computer-aided colon cancer diagnostic systems are in high demand. In this thesis, a computer-aided colon cancer diagnostic (CAD) system has been proposed that comprises three main phases. In therst phase, an unsupervised colon biopsy image segmentation technique, which is based on a few novel extensions in traditional object oriented texture analysis based segmentation technique, has been developed. The second phase deals with classi cation of colon image and gene based datasets into normal and malignant classes. For the colon biopsy image based datasets, two classi cation techniques based on hybridization of various features have been proposed. In these techniques, some traditional features such as morphological and texture, variants of traditional features, and some novel features which have especially been designed to capture the variation between normal and malignant colon tissues have been used. Similarly, for the gene expression based dataset, a novel technique that utilizes various feature selection strategies for solving the challenging problem of larger dimensionality of gene based datasets, and a weighted majority voting based ensemble of various SVM classi ers for performance improvement has been proposed. In the third phase of this work, the structural variation in the shape of lumen among various colon cancer grades has been quanti ed in terms of a few novel structural features. These features are used for the classi cation of malignant colon biopsy images into various cancer grades. Performance of the proposed diagnostic system has been validated on various datasets, and superior qualitative and quantitative performance has been observed compared to previously reported methods of colon cancer detection.
