The purpose of the study was to explore the existing practices of teachers' collaboration in a private school in Karachi. To achieve this purpose, the study looked at the stakeholders' perceptions, the practices of teachers and the factors that facilitate or hinder the collaborative practices in teaching and learning. A qualitative case study approach was used to do an in-depth study. The data was collected through semi - structured interviews, informal talks, observations and document analysis. The findings of the study revealed that stakeholders perceive collaboration as an effective practice that enhances team work and relationships. This practice achieves the aims of education by enhancing teaching skills and by improving students' learning. Teachers' collaborative practices exist both at formal and informal levels. The formal practices include planning, Friday sessions, classroom observations, sharing book reviews, meetings, co-curricular activities, and Meditation practice. The informal practices of teachers' collaboration include need - based meetings, peer teaching and mentoring practices of teachers. The facilitating factors that emerged from the study include the encouragement and support from the principal, recognition of teachers' work, allocation of time and space for meetings and discussions on teaching and learning practices in the school. The limitations in school policy, lack of professional development opportunities for the teachers and positional and hierarchal factors were found as hindering factors for teachers' collaboration. This study suggests that teachers' collaboration can be useful for teachers' development and school improvement, if the principal and teachers develop mutual trust for improving teaching and learning. The study also identifies areas for further research to improve collaborative practices in schools.

عائلی مسائل میں اقوال تابعین سے استشہادکے نظائر

There is major influence of quotes of Sahabaa’h and taa’baeen on Islamic Jurisprudence. A plain study of Fiqh presents the role of tab’aeen and their quotes in method of extraction. There quotes not mere only help us in various matters of virtues, but also in family issues and others. As a matter of fact, a major number of fatawas are based on their quotes or practice as well. Moreover, every school of thought in fiqh narrates their sayings in favour of their vision, I.e. Hanfiya, Shafiya and Malkiya used to narrates their quotes and sayings. Family life is base of any nation or civilization. Books of fiqh also discussed numerous issues of family life and their solutions in the light of Shariaah. In this article a view of tab’aeen’s quotes related to family issues will be discussed. It will support in understanding the importance of their quotes in Islamic Jurisprudence and its compilation. Relevant examples of different school of thought will be discussed from their own books respectively

Dynamical Properties of Specific Black Holes

The present thesis comprises the study of three dynamical phenomenon such as thermal fluctuations, accretion and tidal forces of black holes/regular black holes. We consider the logarithmic corrected entropy in order to analyze the thermal fluctuations. We examine the effects of thermal fluctuations on a regular black hole of the non-minimal Einstein-Yang-Mill theory with gauge field of magnetic Wu-Yang type and a cosmological constant. We investigate the first law of thermodynamics in the presence of logarithmic corrected entropy and non-minimal regular black hole. Furthermore, we discuss the thermal fluctuation problem by utilizing the higher order corrected entropy. We examine the thermodynamical behavior of two well-known black holes such as Reissner-Nordström Anti de Sitter black hole with global monopole and f(R) black hole in the presence of higher order corrected entropy. We also discuss the accretion problem in two phases. In first phase, we analyze the accretion onto static spherically symmetric regular black holes for specific choices of the equation of state parameter. The underlying regular black holes are charged regular black holes using the Fermi-Dirac distribution, logistic distribution, non-linear electrodynamics, respectively, and Kehagias-Sftesos asymptotically flat regular black holes. In second phase, we develop the Hamiltonian dynamical system to tackle the accretion problem. We investigate the accretion of test fluids onto regular black holes such as Kehagias-Sftesos black hole and regular black holes with Dagum distribution function. We analyze the accretion process when different test fluids are falling onto these regular black holes. The behavior of fluid flow and the existence of sonic points is being checked for these regular black holes. Finally, we investigate the tidal forces occurring in a Kiselev black hole surrounded by radiation and dust fluids. We also solve the geodesic deviation equation for radially free-falling bodies toward Kiselev black hole. We explain the geodesic deviation vector graphically and point out the location of the event and Cauchy horizons for specific values of the radiation and dust parameters.
