Cooperative Learning is considered an instructional strategy that encourages students to learn from one another working in groups and pairs. The Aga Khan University, Institute for Educational Development (IED) through its teacher education programmes promotes this strategy in schools particularly in developing countries like Pakistan. The Visiting Teachers Programme (VTP) is one of the examples of IED's attempts to promote cooperative learning. The VTPs are planned, executed and evaluated by the Professional Development Teachers (PDTs) who are graduates of Master of Education (M.Ed) programmes at IED. As a course participant of the M.Ed (2000) programme, I was interested to know about the impact of Cooperative Learning' on two visiting teachers (VTs) who attended the VTP. I decided to conduct an impact study on the above topic. Two VTs of an IED cooperating school of Karachi were selected. Other sample members included, four students (two each) of both the VTs classes. Students were identified for the study with the help of VTs. Head Teacher of the school and the Professional Development Teacher. The study explored ;The impact of cooperative learning on two primary school teachers who attended the primary education Visiting Teacher Programme at IED. This was a case study and literature suggests that for case studies a qualitative research paradigm is more appropriate. Therefore I used the qualitative paradigm and I collected data through interviews, classroom observations, document analysis, field notes and writing memos. Interviews were audio recorded and important points were jotted during interviews. Before entering the field, I went through the programme document which informed me that one of the objectives of the programme was that the VTs understand and practice cooperative learning in their classroom. The programme exposed VTs to alternate teaching methods and instructional strategies. They were taught the basic elements of cooperative learning, lesson planning and teaching, group / pair work and reflections and further were encouraged to use the cooperative learning strategy in the theory practice component of the programme. The study found that teachers have acquired knowledge about cooperative learning. They have tried their best to implement their learning in the classrooms. This includes some elements of cooperative learning in other strategies according to the needs of the students and schools. The findings reveal that teachers have developed good relationships with their students and the students taught by VTs seemed different from other students in terms of social skills. DEPRESSION AND PSYCHOLOGICAL WELL-BEING AMONG PEOPLE HAVING COVID-19 UNDERGONE QUARANTINE

Aims Of Study: Coronavirus is a potentially deadly disease that mostly affects human lung tissue. Multiple cases of unexplained respiratory tract infections were reported to the World Health Organization China in December 2019. The focus of this research was to assess association between depression and PWB in patients who had been isolated due to covid-19. Methodology: A sample of 250 people with covid-19 post quarantine, with age ranges from 25 to 45 were selected by using purposive sampling methods. Depression, anxiety, stress scale and psychological well-being scales were administered. Regression analysis and t-test were employed for statistical analysis. Results: Obtained results evidenced that depression is significantly predict psychological health in the covid-19 population [B= -.015, -.019, F (7.915) sig= .000]. Gender difference is also observed in variable of depression also [(4.78) =.030, p.000]. Limitations and future implications: Future research may base on longitudinal analyses focusing on familial and social factors that may influence the psychological well-being of people living in quarantine. Originality: I certify that the intellectual substance of this article is the result of my own effort and that all assistance and sources used in the preparation of this article have been acknowledged. Conclusion: It was concluded that Depression affects people with COVID-19 and PWB after quarantine. future research may focus more on the influence of the interaction between quarantine and adults’ mental health to fully comprehend the link. 

Effect of Protein Diet on Growth and Body Composition of Labeo Rohita Reared in Cemented Tank

Present study considered to observe the influence of varying dietary protein levels (30%, 35% crude protein and control diet) on proximate body composition of rohu (Labeorohita) from Government Fish Hatchery Multan. The experiment conducted for 2 months trail from October to November in 2017. At the start and end of the experiment-,the whole body composition of fish analyzed. Stocking density was 1000 per acre. In the whole, wet body, weight of Labeorohita the mean percentages for water, fat, protein and ash contentswere 76.86, 2.91, 16.89 and 3.33% respectivelyin this study in all treatments. Higher average protein, fat, ash percentage and minimum water percentage observed with increasing the crude protein in artificial fed. The highest percentage of protein (18.48%) and lowest percentage of water (75.46%) was observed in treatment 3 in which fish were fed with 35% crude protein in artificial diet. Percentage of fat and ash observed in treatment 2 was 3.18% and 2.87% respectively. In treatment 1, observed average percentage of water, fat, ash and protein was 78.71%, 1.98%, 3.24% and 16.07% respectively. Maximum water percentage was observed in treatment 1(30% crude protein in diet) and percentage of protein, fat and ash was low. In treatment2 in which fish were fed with 35% crude protein in artificial diet, average percentage of water, fat, ash and protein was 76.41, 3.58, 3.88 and 16.13% respectively. This estimated that with the increase of protein level in diet, fish highly grow in size. Body composition of fish effected with varying protein levels in artificial diet. The information of these parameters helps to select Labeorohitaas major diet because it contains higher protein content and is suitable for human consumption. This processused to find out the nutritional values of this fish through proximate analysis of body constituents of fish and find out the optimum dietary protein level of fish feed at which fish give maximum nutritional value.
