This study explored the experiences of participants of the blended learning in-service teacher professional development programme, which was initiated in 2015 by a Nongovernmental organization with financial support from an international donor agency. It was envisioned as a social movement aimed at changing the mindset of the teachers by instilling passion for professional development and promoting awareness among them so that they would be able to sustain their efforts in improving their students' learning outcomes. The exploratory study was situated within the qualitative research paradigm. Purposive sampling was used for selection of research site and participants. Four teachers, including two men and two women, were selected as research participants. Data was collected through in-depth interviews, document analysis and field notes. The multiple sources of data helped generate a rich pool of qualitative data which was analyzed using the data analysis spiral proposed by Creswell (2018). The analysis of the data revealed a number of key findings. Firstly, the findings suggested that a blended model had helped teachers in developing professional learning networking and motivated them towards self-directed learning. Secondly, the model had also helped in building teachers' self-confidence and enhancing their teaching skills. It also helped them get hands-on experience in the use of information communication technology (ICT) in teaching. The study identified some challenges with respect to the use of blended learning in in-service professional development for teachers. Some of these challenges were faced by the training participants when they attempted to implement their newly learnt techniques in their classrooms. Some of these major challenges included: the pressure of course completion, mismatch between the programme and ground realities, lack of resources and time, insufficient knowledge and lack of computer skills, lack of recognition, lack of follow-up support, lack of rewards, and finally a lack of monitoring mechanism system. This study is one of the few research studies conducted to understand the blended model in TPD programmes in Pakistan. It has made a small yet valuable contribution to the local body of literature, specifically in developing countries like Pakistan. It can be used as a reference resource for those who seek guidance regarding use of blended learning in teacher professional development. In conclusion, the overall findings revealed that the blended model has the potential to develop teachers' networking and professional competencies. Teachers are motivated to apply what they learnt during the training programme in their respective contexts. Therefore, it is

Connecting Theory and Practice: Bridging Academic Feminism and Activism in Pakistan

Feminism is named as the demand for equality between men and women; however, it is not easily acceptable for the so-called super-gender called men, in any patriarchal society. It is not only a phenomenon but also a chapter of life that varies day by day, though is accepted by many communities, but difficult to adopt or accept in a patriarchal society as in Pakistan. There are many factors behind acceptance or rejection, which is debatable. Either the economy, politics, society, religion, or education is the aspect to enrol it in life. This article is the demonstration of factors, which is responsible for bridging the gap between academic feminism: which is being read to the generation, excluding the reality of the physique of gender, and the activism in feminism, which is being practised with social norms. This debate would be qualitative in nature. Though it concluded that Feminism in the society of Pakistan is not digestible for men members, however, the accelerator for equality or, even equity is slow but consistent and some of the changes are happening gradually.

Impact of Organizational Culture and Social Influence on Organizational Citizenship Behavior with Mediating Effect of Interactional Justice

Amalgamation of organizational processes and human interactions has given rise to phenomenon known as organizational behavior which enfolds multifaceted dimensions and paths to be explored. This study attempts to investigate a few of these directional paths in order to identify the behavioral patterns and prototypes that exist in organizations. Objective of the study is to investigate a vital employee performance pattern "organizational citizenship behavior" (OCB) by analyzing the impact of organizational culture and social influence alongwith mediational effect of interactional justice. This study aims to explore how organizations may develop the phenomena of "extra effort" among its employees and how it can be beneficial for organizational prosperity and growth. Data of 550 respondents from various banks was collected by using self-administered questionnaire. Data was analysed through rigorous statistical technique to explore the nature of relationship among variables by examining construct validity and normality. To identify the extent of effects variables cast upon each other, the technique of Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) is applied through AMOS 20 yielding interesting insights about association among variables. The research findings have provided support to conceptual framework showing both direct and indirect relationships among the variables thus endowing with quantitative model and insights. The study carries both academic and managerial implications, future direction and recommendations that can provide base for future studies.
