Role of Muslim Women as Preacher in Contemporary World (A Historical and Analytical study) Islam is a complete and universal religionits publication and promotion is the responsibility of Muslim ummah,and women are equally responsible for this cause.History has proof that Muslim women have played a vital role for the publication,promotion,protection and existence of Islam.In this era ,the need of Muslim women is being felt more than ever,beause concept of Moderation has put bad effects on Islamic way of living and its identity,so in this present time not only for Muslim men but for the women her role as Islamic preacher is very much necessary. In this Dissertation I have discussed about the importance of Muslim female preachers by giving historical refrences and tried to elaborate that for the existence of the religion, women’s participation is always required. This Dissertation is based on Abstract, preface, importance of topic, four chapters and thier further details, results and recommendations, biblography and list of contents. First chapter narrates about the nature and importance of preaching, it also discusses about the characteristics of a preacher and strategy of preaching in modern era. Second chapter talks about the need of female muslim preachers and also their limits, terms and conditions while preaching teachings of Islam. Third chapter provides historical recount of the efforts of women preachers. In chapter four an analysis is given about the work of contemporary women preachers in historical background, their preaching methodology, its resources and all the hurdles which come across their mission are mentioned in it.

پٹنہ یونیورسٹی کے شعبہ فارسی کے سابق پروفیسر جناب عبدالمناف بیدل کی وفات گزشتہ اپریل میں ہوگئی، انھوں نے تقریباً نوے سال کی عمر پائی اور اس لحاظ سے خوش نصیب تھے کہ اپنی زندگی میں اپنے شاگردوں کو علم و ادب میں بڑی شہرت حاصل کرتے دیکھا، بڑے شفیق استاد تھے، اس خاکسار کو بھی ان کی شاگردی کی سعادت نصیب ہوئی، اپنے زمانہ میں فارسی کی نصابی کتابی انگریزی لباس پہن انگریزی زبان میں پڑھاتے وقت اس مشرقی زبان میں مغربی رنگ پیدا کردیتے، بڑے اچھے شاعر بھی تھے، بیدل تخلص کرتے، مشاعروں میں اپنے ترنم سے اپنی شاعری میں دلنوازی، دل ربائی اور دل نشینی کی ساری کیفیت پیدا کردیتے، آخر عمر میں مذہبی رنگ بھی زیادہ غالب ہوگیا تھا، زائرین حج کی خدمت مختلف حیثیتوں سے کرتے رہے، استاذی المحترم حضرت مولانا سید سلیمان ندویؒ کے سفر حج میں ساتھ تھے، سلیمان نمبر میں ان کا ایک پرکیف مضمون ’’سفر حجاز کے تاثرات‘‘ کے عنوان سے شائع ہوا، گزشتہ اگست میں ان کو حکومت ہند کی طرف سے فارسی کی سند کا ایوارڈ بھی ملا، لیکن حکومت کی یہ جوہر شناسی اس وقت ہوئی جب ان کے بہت سے شاگردوں کو ان سے پہلے اس اعزاز سے نوازا جاچکا تھا، اﷲ تبارک و تعالیٰ ان کو ان کی نیکیوں اور خوبیوں کی بدولت کروٹ کروٹ جنت نعیم عطا فرمائیں، آمین۔ (صباح الدین عبدالرحمن، مئی ۱۹۸۲ء)

This research paper will discuss the position of khula in case of without husband's consent or with husband's consent. All jurists and scholars unanimously said that khula is purely a transaction between husband and wife and which entirely depends upon them. Neither party is to compel to another party to implement khula. There should and must be basically hatred or aversion on the part of one or both of the parties pertaining to a strong wish to annul the marriage contract or any other feeling to produce such an effect. The present study is aimed to focus exceptional position of women in Islamic jurisprudence in order to formulate certain conditions of khula and its implementations. Conditions have been made clear in Islamic jurisprudence. In case of without consent of husband, the jurists have difference of opinion. If husband is not ready to give his consent, judiciary can give unilateral decision without his consent

Exploring a Principals Decision-Making Processes With Regard to Professional Development of Teachers, Engendering a Culture of Professional Development in the School

The relevant literature reveals that school leaders are at the forefront of the endeavor for implementing policies and making-decisions with regard to the professional development of teachers. In order to plan, implement, and evaluate the appropriate programming, school leaders, especially principals, must make decisions that promote a professional development culture in the school. This research study is aimed towards exploring the decision-making processes of the principal with regard to teacher's professional development in a private sector school. The study intended to know how these decisions support teachers' professional development, engendering a culture of professional development in the school. The researcher selected tire private sector because the principals working in the private sector schools are more autonomous as compared to their counterpart in the public sector. Since the study was undertaken in a real school context, qualitative case study design best suited the feat to explore and understand the processes involved in a principal's decision-making process with regard to the professional development of his/her teachers. Qualitative data were collected through interview, observation and document analysis. A semi-structured interview guide was used to interview the research participant. Findings of the study reveal that the decision-making process is a complex and tension-stricken process. There is no specific framework or way to process professional development decisions, rather it depends on the situation and professional needs of the teachers; one size may not fit in all situations. Therefore, the principal processes the decisions with regard to professional development using various strategies and procedures according to the situation; such as, sole decision, individual-led decision, shared decision and decision through intimation. Among all these processes, the principal of the school prefers shared decisions. However, because of different situation, shared decision-making could not always be practiced, but he mostly uses shared decision-making approach as an effective decision-making process. The findings of the study have implications for the private sector schools with similar contexts to lead the decision-making processes for professional development initiatives.
