Organizational culture has a definite impact on organizational performance and employee’s performance to become important within the system. This study shows the dimensions of culture (power distance, masculinity & femininity) and evaluates its impact on perceived organizational performance. A sample of 200 respondents working in 10 different organizations was selected. Questionnaires sent directly to the target population had four parts. In the first part there were 5 questions related to personal profile , 4 questions were there in second part related to power distance , 5 questions related to masculinity & femininity ,10 questions related to perceived organizational performance , and 8 questions pertaining to employees performance which was use as mediating variable. The study shows that cultural dimensions like power distance has —ve impact and masculinity & femininity has +ve impact on employee’s performance as well as perceived organizational performance. Mediation regression analysis proved mediation between culture and perceived organizational performance.

Psychosocial Nurturing of Children in Islam

Psychosocial nurturing of children is linked with Parenting and personality development theories and child development theories too report evidences of influences of parenting on children nurturing. The purpose of this paper is to explore existing parenting styles in current literature and how these parenting styles influence upon and form the personality of the children in their early years. The paper aims to examine parenting with reference to authoritarian parenting, authoritative parenting, permissive parenting and uninvolved parenting. It discussed the expectations and responsiveness of the parents which determine their behavior and style. Through parenting, psychosocial nurturing of the children is determined and it was explained in existing literature and analyzed in Islamic teachings. The study followed a critical interpretivist method which examined the literature and conducted content analysis. The study examines the parenting concept and parenting style in Islamic teachings. Islam lays special emphasis on communication and attitude of the parents towards their children particularly in early childhood. Parenting style in Islamic teaching displays a loving and guiding mode. It is less demanding and more responsive in early years. Parenting in Islamic teaching encourages developing tolerance, harmony and peace. It shows flexibility to accept children’s dispositions and tries to discipline their inner faculties. Islamic teachings expect from parents to be responsive with love and passion. It gives children freedom to talk, walk, think and act in a carefree environment where they can become socially and emotionally strong. Parenting in Islam accepts children’s interests and attitudes with positive responses and respects their rights with warmth and love. It particularly develops moral awareness so that children can distinguish between right and wrong and also understand that they need to abide by rules and regulations. Lastly literature also reports that parenting in Islam does not allow any sort of harassment, coercion, frightening and unjust environment for the little angels.

A Study of Nonlinear Partial Differential Equations for Exact Solutions

This study is dedicated to the subject of constructing exact solutions of nonlinear partial differential equations arising in engineering science, mathematical physics, fluid mechanics, quantum mechanics etc. The significance of nonlinear partial differential equations lies in the fact that the mathematical modeling of many real life phenomena involves differential equations. Several new nonlinear evolution equations are reported to appear in recent scientific studies. The investigation of exact solutions of nonlinear partial differential equations is of great value in understanding widely different physical phenomena. In late years, many fractional order evolution equations are applied successfully to model various physical phenomena. The memory effects of the fractional derivatives play an important role in understanding mechanical and electrical attributes of actual materials. The aim of this dissertation is to extract the exact solutions of some important nonlinear partial differential equations of integer order as well as non-integer order, for instance the nonlinear short-pulse equation, nonlinear fractional biological population model, the nonlinear complex Ginzburg-Landau equation, the generalized fractional Zakharov-Kuznetsov equation, time-fractional Chan-Allen equation, the fractional dispersive modified Benjamin-Bona-Mahony equation and (2 + 1)−dimensional solution equation. Some well known integration techniques are implemented in carrying out the travelling wave solutions of these equations. The obtained solutions may be worthwhile for explanation of some physical phenomena accurately.
