The study focuses on finding socio-cultural factors which pose to be a serious threat to female education at higher level. It tries to identify those factors which marginalize them in education. The descriptive- natured work raises research questions related to various factors i.e. scope of female higher education, security concern about female higher education, cultural and religious constraints and financial constraints towards female education at tertiary level. Government secondary school teachers (male and female) from 3 tehsils of district Mianwali: Tehsil Mianwali, Esakhel and Piplan constituted the population. The convenient random sampling technique is used to select the sample of 300 teachers. A questionnaire was developed to evaluate the teachers'' perceptions about the four research variables on female? tertiary level education. The data was collected from male and female teachers of secondary schools of Tehsil Mianwali only. The descriptive statistics such as frequencies, percentage, mean score and standard deviation are used to analyze and summarize the data. The questionnaire comprised of demographic details which included name and gender. Responses of both the genders were collected and research variables i.e., scope of female tertiary level education, security concerns about female education, socio-cultural and religious restrictions, financial constraints and factors in the way of higher education among female were investigated. The researcher passed it through proper validation and similarity for its reliability, Cronbach alpha was also calculated. The major findings of the study are that majority both male and female favoured the importance of higher education for female students and the religiously rigid parents are against the tertiary level education of female. Financial problem becomes hurdle on the way of female education. The parents are worried about the security of their daughters, similarly social and cultural constraints keep them compelled to avoid girls? higher education.

دارالعلوم تاج المساجد بھوپال کے استاد جناب مولوی سید شرافت علی ندوی کے ایک خط سے معلوم ہوا کہ دارالمصنفین کے سابق رفیق مولوی منصور نعمانی ندوی صاحب کا اچانک حرکت قلب بند ہوجانے سے ۱۶؍ فروری کو بھوپال میں انتقال ہوگیا۔ اناﷲ وانا الیہ راجعون۔
ان کا سانحہ وفات ان کے والدین، اعزہ اور احباب کے لیے نہایت سخت اور اندوہناک ہے، بظاہر وہ توانا، متحرک، چاق و چوبند اور صحت مند تھے، بیماری دل کا تو شبہہ بھی نہ تھا، اپنے خانگی مسائل سے فکر مند ضرور تھے مگر کسے پتہ تھا کہ رخت سفر سمیٹنے میں ایسی عجلت کریں گے :

Religiosity for Promotion of Behavior: Role of Islamic Worships in Moral Development of Muslim Youth

The question of moral rectitude and upbringing of youth in the current social arena is the contemporary discovery attributed to social and family norms that also undergo change due to social and economic reasons. Consequently, deferring levels of piety become more or less acceptable according to an individual’s surroundings and age. The study was done to determine the association between religiosity and behaviors likely to improve the moral, social and psychological habits of young Muslims. The discussion of the article contextualizes the effects of observing practices of Islam on a larger scale. A sample study of this research can be used as evidence to counter the contemporary environment which inevitably generates contradictions for young people. The contradictions result in uncertainty and materialistic atmosphere which does not cater to their spiritual needs and the requirements to develop as the youth of Ummah. Yet, we cannot stop or avoid the negative channels and their effects prevailing on the internet. We can; however, extend the positive spiritual energy in youth that is only possible through careful observance of religious practices comprising regular prayers, fasting, charity and pilgrimage (Hajj). The current apathy of our youth towards the religious injunctions may be attributed to social and family norms that are in some cases relative to the economic conditions and social backup. This will evaluate and assess the way and means of effective inlaying of moral fields where our young people can improve their moral aptitude and rectitude. The impasse of current moral turpitude can be shattered with the bounding relation of human activity and Islamic ritual.

Unsteady Flows of Some Rate and Differnetial Type Fluids Magnetic Porosity Effects

This thesis has two principal objectives. Firstly, to obtain exact solutions for some non-Newtonian fluids of rate and differential type including second grade fluids, generalized Oldroyd-B fluids, Burgers’ fluids, and generalized Burgers’ fluids. Secondly, to study the magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) and porosity effects on such fluids. More precisely, the basic aim is to find the velocity field and the shear stresses corresponding to the unsteady motion of rate and differential type fluids through porous media in different situations in the presence of magnetic field. The flows induced by oscillating shear stress and oscillating velocity on the boundary have been studied. The partial differential equations obtained from the mathematical formulation of these problems have been solved using analytic techniques, i.e., the Laplace transform, Fourier transform, and Hankel transform. The obtained solutions satisfy all the imposed initial and boundary conditions. The similar solutions for some simpler non-Newtonian and Newtonian fluids, have been obtained as limiting cases of general solutions. By means of graphical illustrations, the influence of magnetic and porosity parameters, effect of various parameters on the steady-state and transient velocity contributions have been presented and discussed.
